1:00I guess he could call it an elite show because right now we've got that elite eight game going down between Purdue and Arizona with Purdue currently in the lead. They're the live betting favor right now. This by account of 38 to 31. We'll see what we're going to get in the second half and I can't go any further without doing this because the normal hosts of catching out are good friend Dustin sweetlson. He's got a lot riding on the second half of this show. If Purdue makes a final four, we're going to have a little bit of a shaving going on here. I believe that he has to shave his head if they make the final four. He has to shave the beard as well if they win the title. So trust me, there's a lot of vested interests here on the show. I've personally got Purdue and my bracket to win the title. So there's a lot of rooting interests here on this show tonight for Purdue currently up 38 to 31, Purdue, by the way, 7-14 from three par range. 2:01Well, if you were taking a look there, I just said it and I really believe it's true. Purdue probably played their best half a basketball in the first half of this game tonight. Held Arizona to going 11 of 27 from the floor played even up with the turn or battle won the rebound battle 20 to 15. So really good first half for Purdue. We shall see in a few minutes if they're going to be able to hold this down. But right now, so far, so good for Purdue. So we're going to be keeping our eyes on that. We're going to have some great guests all across the show as well and I'm going to get you updated on a little bit of baseball as well have to be doing that because you had the angels tonight. They got up to six to zero and now they're down 11 to six. So baseball that is back in our lives. So you've got a little bit of volatility there, but we've got a trio of great guests. We're going to be getting some of his best best for Sunday and then an hour number three. One of my good friends, Aaron Moore always gives us more whenever he joins the show. We're going to be chatting with him about what we're getting a college basketball right now. Some of what he's got going on on V-Syn as he does a great job as one of our main contributors over there on the website as well. So we've got ourselves a lot of fun and then wrap up the show by taking a look at what I'm all liking in the elite eight and maybe if we got some time, the crown, you've got the NIT as well. Don't forget about those smaller tournaments here, it will make some money there as well. So we've got a lot of fun coming up in the next three hours and we had a lot of fun a little bit earlier on as well to backtrack a little bit with the fact that Illinois, they are on to the final four, I'm not mistaken.

4:05This is the first time since that 2005 team that they were able to make the final four, they take down Iowa 71 to 59 and could this Purdue game be a little bit reminiscent of what we saw in the first game because Iowa they controlled the first half one that first half by kind of 32 to 28, but we saw the favorite storm back in the second half and this was the big key for Illinois. They won the rebound battle 38 to 21 and when it comes to college basketball, there are certain things that you want to look at, in my opinion, as in terms of whether or not a team is going to be able to keep a hot first half going or not, I always take a look at, are you winning the rebound battle? Are you winning the turnover battle? Those are two big things because if you're getting more shots in your opponent, if you're getting more scoring opportunities in your opponent, typically that's going to bode well for you now. Did it bode well for Michigan say yesterday? No, Michigan state they were just as cold as an igloo, they won like four of 20 from three parades against Yukon, sometimes that's just going to happen, but typically if you could put yourself on the side of a team that wins the rebound battle, that wins the turnover

5:06battle, you'll put yourself in really good shape to be able to win the game. Illinois, they were able to win that rebound battle, found a way to get the job done with Keaton Wogler, 25 big points in that game. So, for Illinois, they are on to the final four, we're guaranteed at least one big 10 team in the final four. When it's all sudden done, we might be able to get three as well because obviously you've got Michigan in action on Sunday, that's going to be a fun one. We right now have produced right now in the lead on Arizona. So that's something to be taken a look at as well. And if you're looking at that live number, by the way, some places have produced as the live one, I have point favorite other places right now to have maybe I had Arizona as that very slim favorite that totals come down to 149 and I did think that this was a good game for the under. Personally, I handicap this total more on about a 151 51 or so. So I think that now live, we've gotten to a relatively proper number, but keep in mind Purdue, even though they're so efficient on offense, they entered into this game number one in the country in terms of points scored on a perpossession basis away from home. They are really, really slow, 340 second in the country, terms of total possessions

6:10per game and prayers on this defense has been rocks all season long top 10 team in terms of fewest points allowed on a perpossession basis and keep in mind for Purdue as well. They were able to have the first half that they did while going just one of two at the free-flying Arizona. They played some smart basketball, only four fouls, so the fouls situation, not going to be too much of an issue here, but for Arizona, it becomes, are you going to be able to get a little bit more out of Bradenbury's and that's the guy that I've really been highlighting for Arizona here in the second half of the season because when you take a look at teams are able to ascend slash a climb. You want to take a look at that one guy that drives us able to build themselves up towards the season. Bradenbury's has been one of the most improved players in all of college basketball this season. Like he started out as a nice, ancillary piece for Arizona. He's been in the starting lineup throughout much of the season, but he's really become their top score with about 15 points per game. He was really held down in the first half and I will say this about Purdue as well. A lot of people are going to take a look at that first half and say that it's not sustainable for Purdue and certainly this has been a defense that's not been great to say please.

7:12Enter it into the night outside the top 160 in terms of points allowed on a perpossession basis. But if you look at Purdue and what happened to them this season, a lot of the issues came at home. Like I believe that they had six home losses this year. If you look at them in terms of the amount of points allowed on a perpossession basis, they give up 2.1 points fewer per one of our possessions when they leave home rather than at home. So they've been a team has been really good on the road with having Oscar club trade off and run behind for about 16 or so rebounds per game. I think that they might be able to hold up here. Personally, I took Purdue in my bracket, felt a little bit, shall we say, less than enthused by what I saw in that sweet 16 match up against Texas. Big raise why I just sided with the points in this game with Purdue rather than going out right on the money line, but right now feeling relatively good about it. If I had to bet this right now, I still would be taking a look at that live one 49 after the under. And if you're taking a look at something as well, just moving forward, what are you going to be able to get out of Fletcher lawyer because Purdue had that 38 point first half with them scoring just three points in the first half.

8:15You want just one or four from the floor. Do you think that they're going to get a much more involved here in the second half? So that's second half. That's going to be getting started any minute and we're certainly going to be keeping you guys abreast of that. I wonder if we take a look at a little bit of baseball while we wait for this action to be getting going as well because the baseball season is back and for those that love podcasts, the baseball betting show, I host that every single day. It's pretty much the cycle of life for myself. And I'm not doing college basketball, I'm not doing baseball and I'm not doing baseball. I'm doing college basketball. These seasons say very much are staggered in a way that is just perfect because one one season ends and another one begins, but you're taking a look at the scores right now. Just got going out there in Los Angeles and Diamondbacks are actually up by a kind of two to zero. The Dodgers were able win the first two games of this series and for the Diamondbacks, they're looking for a little bit more out of Eduardo Rodriguez on what they got last season right now through three squirrel settings and I'm going to give it up a pair of runs. So that's one to keep it in Ion. I mentioned this at the top, but if you had the LA Angels and you're taking a look at them being up six to zero, you're probably thinking, oh boy, angels might actually be able

9:20to start off three and oh, this season, which would be a surprise a lot of people, which I don't see why people are light is down on the angels like for the angels. It's not going to be great for them this season. I'm not going to sit here and say that they're going to be a playoff team, but actually revamped the bullpen a little bit. I like some moves that they made. They went from up six to zero to now being down 11 to six, so as well, that was not great to say, at least what we saw on the bullpen as the bullpen has completely acted away and it was due to three errors out there in the field like the angels have given up 11 runs so far. Just three of them have been eight on and runs for the Eastern Astros to be able to get up 11 to six. So that's something that I'm going to be monitoring as well. Just got going out there in Seattle. That's a zero to zero score. That game is in the bottom of the second inning and then we've got two other games going down. Brewers. They're going to be putting the final touches here on the Chicago white socks, six to one up in the top of the ninth and then the San Diego potteries. They're up three to zero. They are leading the tiger sets in the top of the sixth inning as we're now back in action here with regards to the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Purdue boiler maker.

10:22So perfect timing there and Arizona just had a pair of shots at the rim could not convert on any of them. And I keep saying this when it comes to college basketball, it's not necessarily about the team that from start to finish is the best team. This is the way that it is in any postseason. Are you able to get hot at the right time Purdue? It feels like it's playing their best basketball right now for Purdue. They've got a shot on the inside unable to convert but up 38 to 31 first minute here of the second half. But I mean, you go back to what Purdue is able to do in the big 10 tournament really felt like they were able to find themselves a little bit more there. They've been able to carry that into the NCAA tournament thus far. Again, that game against Texas, a little bit of putting, but I actually think that that was also a little bit encouraging as well because you may recall in that game against Texas, they were not shooting well from three point range at all. I think that they went something like 30% from three point Texas. They were able to hit their threes, but Purdue, they found a way to get the job done. And if you're going to win an NCAA tournament, you're probably going to have a game where you're off your A game.

11:22That was certainly the case for Purdue. Now they need to certainly be playing their A game here in the second half against Arizona because I feel like out of all the teams remaining in the field going into the elite eight they were by far playing the best basketball. I'd probably put it at Arizona one Michigan two. Man, who you're going to have at number three, I think is a little bit more of a debate. I still default a little bit to Duke because Caleb Foster coming back his big and that's something that I'm going to be touching upon a little bit later on during the show because I know that there's a lot of people that are going to be talking about how you can have never lost in the sweet 16 slash elite eight under coach Hurley. But still, I think that Duke being able to get back Caleb Foster, what are you was able to provide them in that game against St. John's very, very encouraging for this team. But I do think that with regards to your top teams remaining in the tournament, Arizona was playing the best coming into this round right now Purdue. They are leading 38 to 33 as Arizona. They knocked down a pair of free throws. We're going to be monitoring this game. We're going to be taking a look at what we're going to be getting on Sunday in the elite eight and so much more as it is a hoops fill weekend right here on cash and out on

15:31change remaining for the defense. It's really been able hunker down for both sides as far as we've been seeing this live total just sticking downward and downward when we hit the half. This was right around about a 149 F as Arizona. They do just roll three. So that's going to impact it a little bit. People with them drawing with three right now sitting here at 148 F posing total a lot of places. He wrote about 152 and a half 153 some things are stable there and Arizona has become the live betting favorite once again. They're not up to being a two and a half point favorite, but I think for Purdue, the big thing for them is continuing to do a good job down low find a way to be able to maybe not win the battle down low, but they need to at the very least play even up with regards to rebound battle now for Arizona. This is a team that has been relying all season long on just good low post play. This is a team that doesn't take a lot of threes at all. They're a bottom 45 team in the country in terms of percentage of their field goal attempts that come from three parties. So as long as they can keep on getting going down low, they should be relatively fine in this game and for Purdue, they've been able to do a relatively solid job with Trey Coffman

16:33rent Oscar club, but they just still have not been able to get a lot out of flutter lawyer this far. Warrior at the half had just three points. So I'm going to be very fast to see if they're able to get a little bit more out of him moving forward as for Arizona. They just bury a bucket. So now we're at 42 42 and we've been finding this a lot here in the NCAA tournament. Underdog gets off to a really, really hot start and they're even leading at the half. We saw that with Purdue here tonight and then the favorite. They just take hold in the second half. We saw that in game number one with Iowa versus Illinois. Is this going to be reminiscent of that? That's a big giant question. And we'll see if Purdue is able to overcome this punch in. If there isn't underdog that I think in this NCAA tournament can be able to show we say rally after taking a best punch like Purdue has right now. I do think that it is the boiler makers mainly because you do have a back court that these guys have been to a title before like you could say what you will about Zach Edie being on that roster and everything like that. But I am for Purdue, Braden Smith, flutter lawyer. These are guys that bend through these battles before they have seen darn near everything.

17:37They've won up against every sort of team that you can in college basketball. There are very few four year seniors on power five teams. As a matter of fact, I believe that there were 22 in total four year seniors on power comfort seems. And you've got Braden Smith flutter lawyer on your side that is absolutely massive for this Purdue team. And I will say this about Purdue as well. If you're wondering why there are perhaps not lead right now Arizona, 10 of 10 at the free thine Purdue, one of four at the free thine. A lot of that is because of just what's been followed in general for Purdue. They've had their big men get followed thus far. So that's a big reason why they have not been able to convert those free throws. Braden Smith, flutter lawyer much better free throws than like so of trade cough and rent, Oscar Kluff, guys like that. So they're going to need to find a way to be able to get to the free thine a little bit more with those more. Shall we say trustworthy guys? But for Purdue, if they're able to be able to withstand this punch, I do think that they cannot hold in there. Are they going to be able to win this game? All right. It's going to be a little bit of talk to ask again. I just keep going back to it going into this game. I did feel like Arizona was perhaps the most complete team in all of college basketball

18:40for Arizona. They've only lost two games as far this season. One of those losses was on big Monday against Kansas, where Kansas, I believe they are 41 and oh, underbill self under big on big Monday. We'll see if that's good. We'll see if that gets extended moving for because I know there's a lot of controversy with regards to the whole coaching carousel. We all know that North Carolina is going through that. So very interesting to see what happens there, but they took that loss and then the other loss. That was the Texas tech by I believe that that was a three point overtime loss back when JT Topham was at full force and at 31 points in that game. So with this Arizona team, they've been the most rock solid team all season long. But so this is an Arizona team that they can be at a little bit more in the fact that they don't necessarily generate a bunch of ball pressure for Purdue. They always do a great job in terms of taking care of the ball, making the most out of their possessions. They're going to need to continue to do that here as right now you do take a look at the terminal battle. Both teams are at six to six with this regard. Purdue is still winning the rebound battle 40 or 24 to 21.

19:41Again, the big thing that has allowed Arizona to be able to claw back into this game. Ten of ten at the free theline for Purdue one of four at the free theline and Purdue. I think that's going to be in their best interest to try to drive Arizona off of or into shall we say taking a few more threes because the big kryptonite that you've got for this Purdue defense. They have been outside. They top to 35 in terms of pon and two points getting percent actually do a really good job. And here's a guy in the three point line and games played away from home. They've been a nice rock solid perimeter defense with that regard. But they've had some very big difficulties in terms of being a guard on the inside. So being able to push things a little bit more to the outside. That is going to be to the advantage of Purdue both on offense and a defense because I still do think that bringing Smith Fletcher lawyer. This is the best back core perhaps remaining in all of college basketball because you just take a look at this landscape that we've got in college basketball this year. You take a look at the four one seats that we had obviously Florida. They're no longer with us as a one C because they got eliminated. But the other three one seats Arizona Duke Michigan.

20:43They are built around really, really good forwards. They're built around just tremendous shall we say low post play with Purdue. They're pretty much the alone team remaining that you could say yes. They are absolutely built around their guards. They come and go with their guard play like even with you con with you con. You've got the likes of an Alex caravan down low. You've got terrorists read down low. You've got really, really good forwards. You don't necessarily have that one team that's built around guards and they always have the old adage guards win in March. We shall see what Purdue is going to be able to do. And also when it comes to this Purdue team, they need to make sure that Tray Kaufman rent is all good to go for the rest of the game. I know that they were showing this with with Kaufman rent off the floor right now for Purdue. They've been shooting just 33% from the floor. They're going to need to make sure that he's all going to go and he's been able to give them a nice park with regards to the offense as for Purdue step up to the freefly and they go one of two at the freefly. And so now this is a Purdue team that has two of six at the free thine. They're going to need to be able to iron that out and that is sent to be live total.

21:44Just going even further down. We're now we're down to about a one 45 and a half. You've got 14 45 remaining produce currently up by a count of 43 to 42. And right now that live spread Arizona, they're currently find themselves as a foreign and a point for you, but you're getting that at minus one of five juice as for Purdue. They get the ball back here with this one, but for Purdue again, if they can just iron out those little things, win the turn or battle, do a little bit better with regards to free throws shooting. They've got a chance to be able to seal this game. I do think that the experience factor here is really big and we've been seeing it here in college basketball this year. You recall that a lot of people they were not thinking the most highly of Rick Barnes and Tennessee. They're back into the elite eight for the third straight season. There are some narratives on coaches that they just can't get the job done in the biggest of spots for my painter. You know that he wants to be able to get it done here because I mean, we recall just all the times at Purdue is happening to get the job done. Even with them being able to go to the title game a few seasons ago against Yukon, it has been a team that as long short in these games quite a bit.

22:46If they can be able to win this game, that would be going a very, very long ways for them. Now we've got 43 to 43 Arizona, they're currently at the free thine. They've got one remaining and they knocked that down. So we're up 44, 43 Arizona has regained the lead and they've regained the fact that they are a four and a half point favorite live in this game, 1434 remaining in the second half. So we've got a lot that's going on there. If you're taking a look at some live baseball that we've got going on as well. Right now we haven't seen a lot of scoring since our last updates, Seattle. They were able to put a run up on the board. They're up one to zero on the Cleveland Guardians. That game is in the third inning. So I'll be monitoring that throughout as well because we're sweating out a little bit of everything right now. We're sweating out some college basketball. We're sweating out some baseball and of plenty on the card for baseball as well. If you check on Vista.com, I've got right of us for both college basketball and baseball going down. So you know what? We're not going to be choosy and only give you guys one sport and everything like that. We got to cover the entire landscape. We'll be hitting upon a little bit of NBA here and our number two.

23:47We're going to be hitting upon a little bit of hockey as well. And I think that that's so big to be doing as well because there are so many different sports that are going down right now. It's almost it's not quite the sports equinox because obviously we don't have a ton of football. But hey, if you're a fan of like, I believe it's the XFL slice USFL. You've got a little bit of spring football in your lives as well. So you do really have a little bit of every sport going on. And I always say this, you want to try to be able to master one or two sports. You don't want to spread yourself to thin. You don't want to be trying to go with like 20 or 30 different sports and you're trying to just dab a little bit in every one of them. You want to focus in on what you all know and love. And for these sports, I don't necessarily do a ton of like, I'm not necessarily the biggest hockey guy. It's gone great. It gets to be able to hop out there. So that's what we're going to be doing on the show tonight as for Arizona now. They're stepping up to the free thine and just miss their first free throw of the night. And it started out 12 of 12 at the free theline. So that is going to be a little bit of a break here for Purdue. And we'll see if they're going to be able to knock down the second free throwing. That one is off as well.

If you're looking at this live line Arizona now a seven point favor and you're laying minus one 25 juice on it, total still right around about one forty six and I believe I mentioned this a little bit earlier, but if I didn't, I will mention it right about now. We have seen this all turn them in long be underdogs. It feels like they're lucky. They're right in the game in this case with Purdue. They were leading at half and then they just die a horrible death in the second half. We saw that in the first game today here with Iowa versus Illinois where Iowa was up 32 to 28 at that and then they lose by 12 points.

26:49We might be seeing that with Purdue right now and if you've done absolutely nothing here in the app and see double a tournament other than taking a look at a favorite that got down early, got a better number in game and then you just bet that you're probably have made it just a bunch of money right now like my goodness. We have been finding it all turn them in long and maybe that is just a way that you want to be taking a look at things like it's the old NBA narrative because I personally when it comes to my NBA betting, I do not take anything before the game like with the NBA. It is such a cribs you when you find these like tight lines and everything like that. What I do is I take a look at a game, you take a look at the team that's went down and as long as you don't see anything that's off putting you bet on the team that is down because every team makes a run and should be me, maybe the less than that I need to learn here in the NCAA tournaments. If the favorite gets sound early, you bet on that favorite to be able to make a comeback unless that team is Wisconsin, of course, and they really weren't trailing in that game against high point, but that's really been a way that you've been able to make a ton of money this year because I mean, even with Duke, when they got down against St. John's,

27:53they were able to make that rally. They didn't cover that line of like six after seven, but if you were able to take them in game, you were able to get a whole lot of better number, you're able to cover that game. We saw it, like I said, with that Illinois game as well. So we'll see if Purdue is able to claw their way back. I still do think that if there is one team here that is a lower seeded team that's able make a little bit of a comeback that's able to survive one of these runs for lack of better term. I probably Purdue with that just really good guard play and with the team that in general has been able to overcome a lot of these just different runs and additionally with having so, so many guys that have so much experience. I do think that Purdue is that sort of team that could be able to overcome that, but it is right now looking to be a little bit dire as for Purdue and look like they were going to be able to get a bucket, but it gets waived off by a fell on the floor. I know that Duke has been brutal in terms of covering these spreads here in the NCAA tournament. I do so against CSU, but that was a very, very fortunate cover. Keep in mind in that game against TCU. If it wasn't for that goal, then shall we say controversy and then Jamie Dixon gets called for the technical foul.

29:55Who knows how that game ends up because TCU went straight down the toilet bowl after that call, but that's after Duke. I do trust in them in the spot. Like I actually think that they match up better with Yukon than they did against St. John's. I made them a five and a half point favor when they were playing against St. John's. I made them a seven point favor in this game against Yukon. So I'm going to be one to lay it like I do think that with Yukon having to end early is right now when the best coaches in the game has won two out of the last three titles. That's something that you can overlook, but at the same time for Duke, they now have back Caleb Foster and I ran the numbers what Duke was doing without Caleb Foster. They played five games without him in the five games without him. They shot 33% from three and about 44.7% from the floor way below their season averages. Now with getting him back, he was able to provide 12 points off the bench. You saw much more lethal that offense was in that game against St. John's like, think John's going into that game, top 10 team in the country in terms of points allowed on a perpossession basis and for Duke, they were able to put 80 points up on the board against

30:58them. They looked much better from three point range. The ball just seemed to be flowing a little bit better in general and for Yukon, there's only only one for Silas. Temmary injury. Temmary is back out there on the floor, but has been playing very, very limited minutes. In the last five games that Temmary has actually played because keep in mind, he was out of the fold in that game against Ferman and round one of the NCAA tournament score 10 points or fewer. Now his, shall we say primary use for Yukon is being a really good ball handler. So that's something that needs to be kept in mind as well. But still with Silas, Temmary being less than 100% with Duke being able to get back to full force with their back court. I think that that's going to be big and you do have two really, really good defenses in this game. Yukon, they are 13th in the country, terms of points allowed on a perpossession basis. Duke, they are second in the country, but with this Duke team, they're also a top five team in terms of points scored on a perpossession basis. And if you do believe that this game is going to be coming down to the spread right now, five, five and a half points. If a team is down five, six points with a minute remaining and with a trip to the final four on the right line, you know exactly what's going to be happening.

32:01The fouls, they are going to be coming fast and rampant. So I do think that that helps you out with this total as well. It's a low total of 133 and a half think that it's gone just a little bit too low. So I do like to you over in this spot and I do like Duke right now, like I said, and a lot of places are laying about five as high as five and a half as low as four and a half. Personally, I was able to say a four and a half myself. So I want to lay with Duke and I'm going to be in on that over as well as we're now back in action with regards as Purdue versus Arizona game with Purdue right now. Trailing by a count of 51 to 47. They were able to put a bucket on the board. So that helps them out as this is cashing out right here on Vison, these parts by network right group speeders and holding it down tonight as right now for Arizona. Arizona 15 out of 17 when you got a six point lead that looms very, very large in this game for Arizona right now they are winning the turn or battle 76. That is something that you want to be keeping in mind as of right now because if Purdue is able to win that turn or battle if they can shoot it a little bit better at the free fine. They have a chance to be able to come back and be able to get the job done. If they can, it's going to be doomsday and that's where a lot of these top teams have been able to separate themselves like I was just mentioning it. The fact that we have seen a lot of these shall we say a pressure line teams higher seeds be able to pull away in the second half. It's because they've been able to do the little things well.

34:05It's because they don't beat themselves. It's because they knocked down their free throws doing all those things that you need from a team that is just shall we say one the top seeds. So that's going to be very big for Arizona moving forward. If they could continue to do this, they should be able to win and cover this game and for Purdue. Seven of 17 from three points, well, Arizona's been just three of 11 from three par range and now for Arizona, they've been able to pull even with regards to rebound battle as well. That was one advantage at Purdue had in the first half. Now it's all even up 20, 27, 27 if you're looking at offensive free bounce, Purdue's still gotten a few more second chances. They're up 11 to eight with this regard. But Arizona's out lengthened out this lead 55 to 47 as this was a Purdue 38 to 31 lead in the first half. They haven't been out scored here in the second half 24 to nine. This has not been great to say leads for Purdue and for Purdue. They're going to need to find a way to be able to stop the bleeding. I was mentioning it in the first half or shall we say going into the second half, but
