We're one and a half rounds, I should say, of the NCAA tournament, second round action. Still in progress here, as we are on air this late Saturday evening. And then of course, we have second round action continuing on Sunday. And it has been the chalkiest of chalky chalk tournaments. And what do I mean by that? Well, it's all favorites. Favorites have been cooking on Friday. We saw a historic day for favorites where favorites went 16 and O straight up. That's right. You filled out your bracket pool and you're thinking, oh, I'm going to get cute and pick some upsets. No thanks. Favorites go 16 and O on Friday. The first time that's happened in a long time. Here's a stat courtesy of our friend Evan Abrams over at the action network. The second undefeated day for favorites in

2:02around the 64 since 1992 favorites went 12 and four against the spread yesterday on on Friday. Well, here today on Saturday, it wasn't any different. Now, we know there's some games going on as we're on the air right now. We could see this change. But earlier in the day, Michigan, a win and a cover over St. Louis, Duke, a win and a cover over TCU Houston, a win and a cover over Texas A&M Michigan State, a win and cover over Louisville Illinois, a win and cover over VCU, the one dog that covered one outright Texas upsetting Gonzaga, the 11th seed in the West region, ousting the three seed 74 to 68. So we have an upset. We have a double digit seed in Texas going to the sweet 16. And this just continues the trend of a team from the first four playing around

3:10advancing in the NCAA tournament. Now, famously, we had VCU go to the final four after being a first four team, but we know that in the history of this first four format say that 10 times fast. We have had a team win in Dayton and then win their first round game. It was what 11 out of 15 or 11 out of 14 10 out of 14 times. Excuse me. And then we had Texas win against BYU. And you thought that was it. But no, the momentum continues. Now, three wins here in the NCAA tournament as Texas defeats Gonzaga and they will head to the sweet 16. You look at the way the bracket shapes up here. It's honestly looking a lot better for Arizona. I mean, what a path Arizona could have here going to the final four, but Texas is going to play the winner of Miami and Purdue likely going to be Purdue and then think about Purdue's path who, you know, they got an easy blowout win against

4:12Queens. We'll see how they do here against Miami coming up on Sunday and then taking on Texas instead of Gonzaga is a huge sigh of relief. And then for Arizona, honestly, I mean, think about if Arizona, obviously they have to take on Utah State here on Sunday and then they get the winner of Arkansas high point, which could be an upset high point in Arkansas in a battle right now in the second half. We'll update that coming up. But for Arizona, I mean, I had Arizona Gonzaga in my elite eight in that bracket. And I thought what a storyline that would be where you have the student versus the teacher because Tommy Lloyd, the Arizona head coach, was Mark Fuse assistant at Gonzaga for years before he got the head coaching opportunity at Arizona. And I thought that it could be a tough game for Arizona because, you know, there's some talent. There's some size with Gonzaga. Graham EK certainly is a force to be wrecking with inside, right? They had the kid that transferred from from GCU who, you know, is a talented shooter, right? They have, they have players at Gonzaga.

5:18And also they have the student, the teacher versus the student. I thought the student would get by the teacher in Arizona would be Gonzaga and go to the final four. So I lost my first elite eight team here in my bracket. Wamp, Wamp as Gonzaga goes down, but elsewhere, it has been favorites. All favorites here in the NCAA tournament. And it continued here from Friday into Saturday. Like I said, the only upset was the dog in Texas winning out right here against Gonzaga. And now we wait to see the results here of these late last two games, which, and if you're listening, by the way, on a replay hour, apologies, these games are going on right now. And there's high drama right now, the five four matchup in the South region Vanderbilt, a 67 55 lead over Nebraska with about three and change left in that game. And with 15 minutes to go, the 12 four matchup in the West Arkansas and high point are tied at 52 as that pace has slowed down significantly here in that game.

6:21There's some interesting trends that I was looking at for this second round of the NCAA tournament. And it pertained to some teams here in today. I'll give you the results on how those teams did and one game that's still on progress right now and one game the Gonzaga game that wound up being a loss. So think about how historic, I don't want to say historic, I mean, trends are trends, right? They should be used for support if anything. But Gonzaga's loss was just the second loss in the history of this database in the NCAA tournament going back to, or I just went back to the past couple of years. I went back to the 2021 season, so the 2022 tournament. So this system that I'm looking at for the second round here today on Saturday and tomorrow on Sunday, we have seen now results wise. We have seen 17, 18, 19, 20 games with one pending tonight

7:23and one pending tomorrow that have fit this situation. And Gonzaga is just the second loss ever out of those 20, 22 games. What is the system? What is the trend? If you, if you won your game, but did not cover in the first round of the NCAA tournament, as the favorite, you won the game, but you did not cover. And then you are once again the favorite in the second round. So you're a favorite in the first round, you won the game, but you didn't cover, and now you're favored again in the second round. Those teams coming into today's second round were 16 and one straight up, 11 and six against the spread. Today we had Michigan win and cover against St. Louis, Duke, win and cover against TCU, Gonzaga lose outright to Texas. So now the numbers

8:29are 18 and two straight up, 13 and seven against the spread. The game that's in progress that this system qualifies for is Vanderbilt against Nebraska. And right now that is coming down to the wire, 67, 66 is the score. Let's update you down. Still 67, 68, 67 now Nebraska has taken the lead with two minutes left. And then tomorrow, the system applies for Yukon against UCLA. As Yukon got a win and they did not cover as the favorite in the first round. And now they are favorite here in the second round. So very interesting to see that situation play itself out. Should Vanderbilt get a come away with a win here. We're looking at now 19 and two straight up for these teams. And if they cover, which it's a one and a half point line. So it's very rare that they're going to win and not cover this one. But we can be looking at what 14 and seven against

9:32the spread for these favorites as well with the only straight up loss being Gonzaga today. The last time one of these teams lost March of 2022 Wisconsin lost to Iowa State. Since that lost by Wisconsin and prior to the Gonzaga loss, teams in this situation had won one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13 straight wins. It was 13 and 11 and two against the spread before Gonzaga. Imagine I told you these numbers before the Gonzaga game. Would you have been would you have had your opinion changed and would you want to bet Gonzaga or if you or if you were already on Gonzaga. And I told you that we have a trend that's one 13 straight times. And it is 11 and two against the spread. Would you have said, wow, that just solidifies my opinion

10:36now on betting Gonzaga. Well, not to be the case. Let's see how Vanderbilt does and then we'll see how Yukon does here on Sunday against UCLA. Another system I was tracking here in college basketball that played itself out here on Saturday and there is a game on Sunday. And I gave you one positive trend. This is actually a negative trend. I went back not just since the start of the 2021 season, the 2022 tournament. I went back as far as the database goes. I went back to 2007. And I wanted to know if you played in overtime in your first round game in the NCAA tournament, how did you do in the second round? So you played in overtime in the first round. How do you do in the second round? Coming into today, those teams six and 20 straight up in the second round. Make it now six and 21 straight up in the second round as VCU lost to Illinois. Uh, Texas upsetting Gonzaga earlier here on Saturday had drama and the ending just now between Vanderbilt and Nebraska had drama when Nebraska got a layup, a pretty uncontested layup with 2.2 seconds left to take a 74 72 lead and Vanderbilt's buzzer beater half court shot banks off the backboard,

14:48off the rim off the backboard off the rim and out. And so Nebraska survives and advances 74 72 is your final. So Vanderbilt did close as a short favorite in this game, but a one and a half to two point favorites. So another win for an underdog here, a very rare win for an underdog here in this NCAA tournament. Let's head on out to the progressive guest line where we are joined now by Draft King's content creator Tanner Turner. Tanner, thanks so much for giving us a couple minutes here on caching out. So I just mentioned we had another win by an underdog. That's two today. I mean, I almost have to rub my eyes because I don't believe it. We have two wins by underdogs. What's going on? Uh, it has been a historic one for favorites here in this NCAA tournament. Has that surprised you at all? Not at all. My best bet the tournament was under five and a half for the lowest final four seed that's looking pretty good right now. Obviously, Texas needs to get knocked off. I'm hoping that high point right now doesn't pull it off against Arkansas. We'll see what

15:52happens here in a few minutes, but I expected the favorites to dominate here. I'm not surprised. The World of N Isles changed the game. We're not getting those small schools that find a way to retain guys for four years and build them up and kind of fall through the cracks. They're all going to these major conference schools right now. And that's what we're seeing in the NCAA tournament once again, just like last year. Yeah. My best bet going into this tournament was over one and a half one seeds to make the final four. That was one that I mean, I made my largest investment here in the NCAA tournament on that wager to the point where we took our credit, we moved the line at the book. So I always like to take, I always like to tip my cap to myself when I do that because it means that I spotted something that was inaccurate. So I have over one and a half one seeds to make the final four and looking at these one seeds. Is there one? If you just, I'm asking people the same question here, Tanner, if you're isolating just the NCAA tournament performance, and I know that we, you know, we stuff to see Arizona play, but you saw Michigan play, you saw Duke play here. I mean, some of the two seeds as well. We've seen at least one or two

16:56games for these two seeds. Are there any of these top seeds, the one or two seeds based off of the tournament performance alone that gives you a little bit of pause or a little cause for concern that they could be on upset alert? Potentially a Duke, they just don't look necessarily the same, and they're kind of looking like their experience is not that great. And obviously that's what we've seen from them at times this year. You know, going back to the Virginia game of the ACC championship, it just wasn't the right looking Duke team credit them for pulling it off, but now the first couple of games have been relatively sloppy. I know they did pull away today, but when you look at them at times right now in their games, they just look really inexperienced and they look like they don't necessarily know what's going on. So I think Duke would be my biggest concern, my biggest positive so far throughout the tournament's been Michigan. I think that was a team I was slightly concerned about heading into it, but what they did today throughout the entire game, what they did in the second half of their first game, and we've very impressive stuff from them. So they definitely

17:56look like the strongest one seed in my mind right now where Duke has kind of fallen through the cracks, and you've seen that with the odds that Duke goes from the favorite all the way down to probably, you know, the third or fourth, at least the longest odds for the one seeds in the tournament. And what is it Michigan now nine of 11 games? They've scored at least 85 points like this team just is like a machine right now, very impressive. There were some people that were getting cute here at St. Louis, and I was just like, not me. I'm not touched. I'm not betting against this Michigan team right now. We'll see what happens as the bracket unveils itself. Speaking of the bracket as we head into Sunday's second round action, I'm still alive. In here in Vegas, we have a couple of different survivor concepts. Tanner, I'm alive in the station's last man standing where it's not your traditional survivor where you pick a team and then survive in advance. You can't use them again. This one works where you have to pick a team, you have to cover against the spread. So you have to win against the spread to survive to the next day. So I'm still alive going into tomorrow. My debate for tomorrow helped me figure this out. It's either St. John's laying three and a half year against Kansas, or I'm going to go Iowa

19:00State laying the four and a half against Kentucky. Which of those is the better bet in your opinion? I like both those lines. I probably end towards Iowa State minus the number against Kentucky. They're just really physical on defense. That's the biggest difference I see in this game. They force turnovers at extremely high rate. They control a glass. They make every possession uncomfortable for their opponents. And we've seen that just throughout their entire season, but really in the big 12 tournament. And obviously now, that's going to be a problem for a Kentucky team that can get sloppy with the ball at times. They rely on heavy shot making. You know, Oh, take it away. Basically, safety, Kentucky, they shouldn't necessarily be here, right? And I think the Wildcats revolve so much around him that that concerns me against a really well balanced Iowa team. You know, their back court sets the tone. And I don't think Kentucky just has the team to hang with them now. Kentucky has not handled tough teams either this season. That's another thing to note. So if Iowa State can dictate the tempo, you know, turn this into a low scoring, just physical affair. I don't see Kentucky hanging around.

20:01Believe me, I like St. John's as well. And I think they have the ability to do the exact same thing to Kansas there. But I feel like if I'm picking one to cover, I think the mismatch is much bigger between Iowa State and Kentucky, rather than St. John's and Kansas. Because we know their impetus and gets it going. Kansas can be anybody in the country when they're when they're firing in right St. John's is also last year. We thought they were going to be a second weekend team to get knocked out in the second round. So that wouldn't surprise me there. So I think the gap is much bigger between Iowa State and Kentucky and you're getting a better value there with the number. I mean, listen, I mean, we'll see what the number comes out of tomorrow because we have to wait to see what the contest line is. If it's five, five and a half, maybe that changes the opinion, but it's between those two for me. Let me ask you about St. John's specifically. And as it relates to Yukon, if we watch St. John's against Kansas and we see St. John's have, you know, just blow it. I don't want to say blow out Kansas, but have a relatively easy time with Kansas, a win and a cover. Does it change your opinion slightly on Yukon and make you more likely to bet

21:03Yukon against UCLA? And then on the flip side, if St. John struggles and they get blown out by Kansas, does then it make you reconsider the Yukon game and think, all right, I'm going to be on UCLA now. You know, I don't necessarily look at, you know, the St. John's game and compare that to Yukon just because I think Big East basketball is a different beast when those two teams are going up against each other. The first matchup, Yukon, St. John's go at each other. St. John's gets the best Yukon and the second one, Yukon doesn't allow St. John's basically scoring the second half. And you know, the third one, obviously, St. John's came out for blood and you know, dominate Yukon. So I don't necessarily look at those two teams together in this setting. So I think it's just totally different, right? Dan Hurley spoke about and, you know, how much the tournament's different, how much playing out of conference teams is different than playing in the Big East. And while the Big East doesn't have a ton of respect this year, I kind of buy that narrative. But you know, if St. John's does blow out Kansas, I still am going to be on Yukon to beat UCLA. If they lose to Kansas, I still would be on Yukon to UCLA. And that scares me because the shot making is just not

22:05there for Yukon right now. Braille and Mollins has totally looked like a freshman. And then also too, when you look at solo ball, he's not making shots right now. Terrace Reed was fantastic for the Huskies the other night, but at the same time too, you're not going up against him in major. Now you're going up against the physical UCLA team. But I still like Yukon in that game. I trust Dan Hurley to figure it out with this team. I trust the shots to eventually fall. And once they do, Yukon's going to be pretty dangerous. Now if they don't, UCLA can definitely knock them off. But the opinion on that St. John's Kansas game doesn't really impact how I'm going to bet Yukon and UCLA. I'm going to be on Yukon no matter what. What else do you have for tomorrow? A very interesting game between Texas Tech and Alabama, full disclosure, I bet against Alabama in the first round. It didn't work out. They win and they cover. They pulled away late. Good for them. I was on Texas Tech. So that was one that I got right there in the first round. Now you got Texas Tech going up against the Bama. And this line kind of flipping back and forth. Well, obviously wait to see what we come to tomorrow night. Anywhere from a pick them to a one point spread on either side,

23:06one and a half on either side. What do you like there? Yeah, I'd grab the point with Texas and Texas Tech right now. I think it slipped over to Alabama since I bet this line. But Texas Tech is learning to play without JT Top and they didn't finish the season necessarily strong. But looks solid against the quality Akron team. And I love the matchup for Texas Tech right now with Alabama without Aiden Holloway in the lineup. Alabama wants to play in transition. They want to shoot threes. That's fairly volatile. It can work. You know, NATO has gotten this Bama team to the final floor in 2024. But when you live and die by the three, it's not good. I look at Louisville today. That didn't go well for them. You know, Michigan State was able to put them in a position where they weren't comfortable shooting threes and it didn't work out. They were never really in the game as much as it was a five six seven point game at times. Texas Tech's a team that, you know, you can set the tone on defense. Two hundred fifty third and adjusted tempo compared to Bama at fourth. Much more physical defensively. And they do have shot makers who can score on the perimeter. Christian Anderson being one of those guys stepping up

24:07in place of Top and Zabs. And so, you know, he had 18 in his first round game against Akron. If Tech can slow down the pace and keep Alabama, you know, neutralized, no reason to not win in the game. You know, it's a great point you bring up when you say they're learning to play without him. Like I heard so many people going into this tournament thinking, well, they don't have JT Top, they've played several games without him now. Like this isn't like the first game without JT Top and like they've played multiple games without him. I think they're okay. Tanner, appreciate the time man. He is on Yukon though against UCLA laying the points there. He likes Iowa State laying the points there as well. And he likes Texas Tech, depending on the number, of course, you know, seeing what it looks like against Alabama here in the final game of the evening there on Sunday night. And in the 12-4 matchup, Arkansas with a 76-72 lead over high point right now with under six

26:18minutes to go in the second half. Arkansas closed as a what 12 and a half point favorite 13 point favorite here over a high point. So 13 points here at circa total close that 171. And it is now 76-73. Your live line right now is Arkansas minus five and a half. Your live total 180 and a half as this one is coming down to the wire. We could have another double digit seed. Make it to the sweet 16 after Texas, upset Gonzaga to advance to the sweet 16 earlier here on Saturday. It has been the chalkiest of chalky tournaments on Friday favorites went 16 and oh straight up. And here on Saturday, the favorites were dominating every favorite one and covered until Texas upset Gonzaga illinois then abounce back for the favorites win and cover and then Nebraska getting by Vanderbilt. That was a close line, but technically Vanderbilt was the two and a half point favorite.

27:21And so Nebraska upsets Vanderbilt. So most of the favorites still winning. We'll see what happens here with Arkansas on high point with about five minutes remaining in that game, but so far of the eight of the seven games that were played today. Five and two straight up and ATS for the favorites after 16 and oh straight up on Friday as the I wonder I mean the sportsbooks got to be getting crushed here with especially with the overs hitting as well. Like Friday started with eight and out to the over in the early session over still dominated the day. But when you got to imagine the public having a field day, I mean, I bounced around to all a bunch of different sportsbooks over the past three days here of the NCAA tournament. The crowds are as lively as ever and a lot of smiles on people's faces, whether it's their bracket, whether it's the survivor pools or just betting the games straight up or whatnot or putting together their money line parles. I mean everybody is crushing here. It seems in this NCAA tournament. We'll take a look at the Sunday games coming

28:24up here in just a few minutes, but we want to take a moment to take a look at what else is going on here in the world of sports because it isn't just March Madness and the NCAA tournament. Yes, we have NBA action going on. Yes, we have NHL action going on and in the NBA specifically, we had kind of like a March Madness game, a little late drama as Luke Canard fired a game winner for the Lakers to get past the Orlando Magic 105-104. Luca Doncett scored 33 points. We can have the conversation about Luca here in just a moment. LeBron James had just 12 points Austin Reaves with 26 points and Luke Canard with 13 off the bench, three of four from three point range and the big shot at the end to give the Lakers the win over the Orlando Magic. The Los Angeles Lakers have now won nine straight games. I have asked many NBA analysts the same question over the past

29:24week as the Lakers just continued to win games. I asked when they won six straight, then when they won seven straight, then eight straight, now they've won nine straight. My question is, is it time to consider the Lakers as contenders in the Western Conference and despite the win streak, the answer from the people that I've spoken to has still overwhelmingly been no. And it's not a crazy answer because if you look at the betting markets, the answer is still no. In the Western Conference, or let's see, let's just look at to win the NBA Finals, the Lakers are 40 to 1 to win the NBA Championship. In the Western Conference alone, so you're thinking, hey, nine straight wins, there are the three seed in the Western Conference. Is it time we start considering the Lakers to win the West? The Lakers on Fandall right now are still 25 to 1 to win the Western Conference.

30:30There are the hottest team in the NBA right now. Well, maybe not the Atlanta Hawks who are just, I mean, well, they lost, but then they won. So they had their 11 game winning streak snapped, which by the way, I should have been on this earlier because this is actually an incredible system that I missed. And this is the thing like, I'm not a big NBA better. So I'm not kicking myself totally for missing this spot, especially with how locked and I've been to the NCAA tournament today and yesterday. But this is a good, I'm a good example of like the wrong thing to do, I guess you can say, because with the sports books and the public and the handle and the money and the sharps, so focused on the NCAA tournament, there are edges to find in the NBA. There are edges to find in other sports right now. And there was a said edge here on Saturday with the Atlanta Hawks against the Golden State Warriors, where the Hawks had won 11 straight games and then go into

31:36Friday against the Houston Rockets and lose granted they were underdogs. So the market expected them to lose, but it is an overwhelmingly positive trend, a very profitable trend when teams win 10 or more straight games and then lose, they bounce back to win the next game. It happened, or we saw it earlier with the spurs this year, and it happened here today with the Atlanta Hawks winning convincingly over the Golden State Warriors, 126 to 110. So that's one where I missed that, because that should have been right on my radar as soon as I saw them lose to the Houston Rockets. Yes, today. But anyway, that's besides the point. The Lakers are the hottest team in the NBA. They've won nine straight games. I said, the Hawks were the hottest winners of 11 straight. The Lakers now have the longest winning streak, excuse me, the Oklahoma City Thunder, have the longest winning streak at 11 games. Lakers nine straight wins. They're still 25 to 1 to win the West. And the thing is, as great as they have played, you compare them to the teams that are ahead of them in the Western Conference,

The Lakers, and this is after a nine game winning streak, have a net rating of 1.3. Prior to this streak, the Lakers had a negative net rating. They're not even sniffing the San Antonio Spurs, and they're not even in the same league as the Oklahoma City Thunder. So, and let's just look, we'll look at the last 10 games or so, right? Because that's where we want to see, hey, they've won nine straight games, right? Well,

33:41over the last 10 games, the Atlanta Hawks lead the NBA with a 12.2 net rating. The Spurs 11, the Hornets 10.6, the Thunder 10.4, the next nine, the Lakers 7.5. So the Lakers last 10 games is where the Spurs have been the entirety of the season. I don't want to take anything away from the Lakers because this run has been incredible for them, but they are still not in the same category as the Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference. So the fact that they're still 25 to one is not a shocker to me, and the fact that everybody that I ask, are they contenders after a nine game winning streak? And people say no, I believe them. The answer is no. But what the answer might start to be yes. And I don't know if there's enough time to get there. But Luca Doncic is playing like the best player in the NBA right now. He has shot up the MVP odds. He's the second favorite behind

And now just looking at this NCAA tournament. Let's take a look at where we are by each day. So if we buy by day of the tournament here, in the first day, which was on Thursday, we had favorites go. Let's see. The favorites on Thursday went 10 and six straight up, but only six and 10 against the spread on Friday. We know 16 and 0 straight up for the favorites. And it was 12 and four against the spread and here on Saturday,

So if we're looking at in the last two days, just Friday and Saturday, 22 and two straight up for the favorites and 18 and six against the spread for the favorites. Here are your second round matchups for Sunday in the NCAA tournament. The action gets started with the two seven matchup in the West region where Purdue, a seven and a half point favorite over Miami, then the two seven matchup in the Midwest region where Iowa State is a five and a half point favorite over Kentucky. The four five matchup in the East region, St. John's a three and a half point favorite against Kansas, the six three matchup in the Midwest region, Tennessee, the six seed, a slight one and a

40:01half point favorite over the three seed, Virginia. That's something we'll look up, by the way, with the trend of a seed being a lower seed, excuse me, being a favorite over a higher seed. So we'll look that up and this is a line where, you know, it's going to go back and forth. We'll see where it settles at, but right now, Tennessee, the six seed is a one and a half point favorite over the three seed in Virginia. Then we have the one nine matchup in the South region, Florida, a ten and a half point favorite over Iowa, the one nine matchup in the West region, Arizona, and eleven and a half point favorite over Utah State, the two seven matchup in the East where Yukon is a four and a half point favorite over UCLA, and then the four five matchup in the Midwest where the five seed Texas Tech, a one and a half point favorite over the four seed in Alabama. So that one actually had flipped because Alabama was the favorite. Now Texas Tech is the slight favorite. Again, with it being one and a half, we'll see where it gets when we get closer to

We do have one early line for the sweet 16 and that is going to be the two three matchup between Houston and Illinois where right now up on draft Kings Houston is a two and a half point favorite. It's an early look but Houston's the play for me. I mean, I have Houston representing that region in the final four, but this is an interesting number and we can look up. I'll look up the projections. I don't think that Ken Palm is going to have them yet for the sweet 16, but maybe they do. We'll see. But this is this is very interesting because this is a home game for Houston. And I don't think that that is and they do have Ken Palm actually has it right now. Ken Palm has Houston 72 71. So they have Houston as a one point one point win. Line right now is Houston minus two and a half. This is a home game for Houston. The benefit of them getting into the south

42:10region. I've talked about this for like a month now when previewing the futures market here in the NCAA. They get to play the sweet 16 and the elite eight a mile away from campus. This is a massive home court advantage for them. And we just saw, you know, Nebraska playing these first two games in like Oklahoma, how big of a home court advantage was. We saw Duke. Yeah, they struggled, but they had the entire crowd in South Carolina, especially after like UNC lost, more crowd there. This is going to be an advantage for Houston. And then think about the travel aspect. Illinois is just adding miles to their travel situation, right? Illinois who played the first two games and listen, an easy, easy first two games. Let's be honest, right? But they played a pen. This put up 105 points. And then they beat VCU, which like barely gave them a fight here in the second half, but they played in Greenville, South Carolina. So you go from Illinois

43:14champagne to South Carolina. Now you got to travel to Texas and go to Houston. We'll see. I don't know what these schools are going to do. There's plenty of time in between games that they travel back to champagne. And then they go to Houston or do they just go straight to Houston. But here's what I know about Houston. Houston gets their first two wins. Congratulations. They look great. They're a machine. They're rolling their first two games, by the way, were in Oklahoma City. So not crazy travel at all. Now they go home. Not just like home. I'm talking home. Where they go to their own locker room. Where they sleep in their own beds. Where they're comfortable. Where they don't have to deal with any travel logistics or anything. They are home. The next two games are a mile away from campus. They are playing in an arena where they play a regular season game each year. This is a massive advantage for Houston.

44:21That cannot go understated. So we're seeing them as two and a half point favorites right now against Illinois. I'm curious how that market adjusts because maybe two and a half is not enough if we factor in the home court. I know I just read the Ken Palm projections have it as a one point game. So we'll see like what the other analytics sites have. And we have plenty of time before we get to that game next week. Let's see if there's a tour of it. Have it up yet. Let's see. Curious. No. Yes, he does. He's got Houston minus 1.3. Okay. So looks like Ken Palm and Torvick are agreement to one point win one point edge for Houston. So maybe the two and a half is factoring in the home court. Maybe it's not enough honestly. I think that's a that's a bet for me. It's Houston in that game. Maybe it's Houston money line, but Houston is the play for me. It's minus 142 on the money line on draft games. Obviously shop around see what you can get. Houston's going to be the play for me in that game. And for Illinois. I mean, I'm a little bitter about Illinois because I lost their team total bet here on Saturday. But they should have,

45:24I mean, I guess technically they blew out VCU. They won by 20. But they could have they there was moments in that game where I didn't like what I saw from the Illinois offense. They did not have a good shooting performance. They had cold stretches. They had possessions that they were empty possessions because they just couldn't find a shot like, I mean, maybe credit to the VCU defense, but I expected Illinois to put up there. I mean, they're a high shooting team. And maybe it's because Illinois is a high variance team. That's what we talked about. Ryan McIntyre, money line Mac from the sports gambling podcast network earlier. And he said they're just a high variance team. They could get hot and they could score 100 points. They can get cold and they can only score 60 or 70. Houston is not the same defensive Houston. That we know that we've loved over the same over the past couple of years. But they still have a lot of experience. They have a Hall of Fame coach in Calvin Samson. They're playing at home.
