1:03And what a chalky tournament it has been on the heels of a Friday, in which favorites went 16 and O straight up. We were sitting here on Saturday wondering, will we finally get an upset? And we got one. Texas defeating Gonzaga, which I don't say ruins my bracket, but it's the first elite 18 that I lost because I had Gonzaga versus Arizona in that regional final. But not to be the case as Texas gets the 74-68 win. So we finally get an upset here in the NCAA tournament where we hadn't had one in quite some time. Couple of games still in progress right now. Let you know what we're sweating out as we're watching these games in progress. Illinois in the 3-11 matchup in the South region has a 63-42 lead over VCU. And I got to be honest, I am not impressed with Illinois here in this game. They should at 12 point favorites.

2:05Yeah, they're winning. They're probably going to cover, but like they should have 70 to 80 points by now. This is a team that scored what was at 100, 105 points in their first round game, beating Penn, they have not shot the ball well at all in this game. They can't hit a free throw. They've been missing free throws. They are, let's see, right now, seven of 21 from three point range, seven of 21 from three point range, 10 to 15 from the free throw line. I bet there are team total over in this game. And it's just been embarrassing watching them not be able to convert possessions. So that's going to be a loss for me on this game, barring some sort of miracle and some fouls down the stretch of VCU, can somewhat get it closed, but likely not going to happen here. It is a 63-44 lead for Illinois here over VCU. A game that we expected to be high scoring off to a pretty not so high scoring pace. As number four Arkansas leads number 12 high points, 19 to 16 live line in that game

3:11right now with Arkansas as a 11 and a half point favorite live total of 166 and a half in this game did close with a live with a total of 12 and a half or to 13 here at circa with a total of 171 and a half here at circa. So we are trending towards an under there between high point and Arkansas. And they are at the half here with number four, the four seed Nebraska, a 39-32 lead over the five seed Vanderbilt in that South region. All other games are final from earlier today. Michigan took care of St. Louis, a win and a cover for the number one seed, a win and a cover for the number one seed in Duke over TCU, a win and a cover for the number two seed Houston over Texas AM, a win and a cover for the three seed Michigan State against Louisville and a non cover and obviously an upset loss here Texas upsetting Gonzaga. But we're looking like another favorite covering here in Illinois over VCU.

4:13And then let's see what happens here with these last two games that hopefully provide some drama. I mean, we did have one good game here on Saturday. And I guess that's more than we can ask for after yesterday was an absolute dud. But this is this shouldn't as I rather let me say this. This shouldn't come as a surprise to people. You know, when we see the stats out there, and this was tweeted out, I believe it was CBS or someone had tweeted this out and Bill A. He sent it in our morning newsletter here at V. Sin. So if you subscribe to the daily morning newsletter, you get that. But we have had blow out wins here. 13 of the first 32 games were decided by 20 or more points. That is the most ever in an NCAA tournament. 13 of the first 32 games decided by 20 or more points. And then what did we see here on Saturday?

5:13We saw a blow out win by Michigan, winning by over 20 points. We saw a blow out win by Duke, winning by over 20 points. We saw a blow out win by Houston, winning by over 20 points. This shouldn't shock people in the world of college sports that we live in right now. It is not about the teams. It's about the budgets. It's about the money. It's the halves versus the have nots. And we can look at all the metrics we want. And we can analyze the team ratings. We can analyze every which way how to break down these teams performances during the season, how they compare the Kenpoms, the Bart Torvichs, the Hazlums, whatever you want to do. When it comes down to it in the NCAA tournament, you are looking at one team that has a roster of future NBA talent versus another team

6:15in these lower seeds or these mid majors that have zero players that will be playing professional basketball even over in Europe if they want to do. That's just the reality of the situation in college basketball now and in all college sports. I mean, you look at Arizona, for instance. Arizona's starting five has four NBA players on it and the one player that's not an NBA player was the big 12 player of the year this year. That's why they're the favorite to win the national championship. That's why they're not going to lose in their bracket until maybe they get to the final four and they face another team that's loaded with NBA talent. But I'm supposed to sit here like we used to do every single year and get cute with the bracket and get cute and try and pick the upsets and I love the NCAA tournament. It's my huge I woke up at 6.30 in the morning on Thursday morning like it was Christmas morning. I was so excited for the first round to begin.

7:18But I'm sitting here filling out brackets and I'm thinking, well, do I want to do you know the 12 always beats of five and yes high point great win, awesome over Wisconsin so they did get there. Do I want to fill out all these upsets? Do I want to look at the double digit seeds? Do I want to play a prop bet on double digit seeds? Do I want to do the whole money line underdogs that we hear all these content creators talking about? No, no, you know what I want to do? I want to pick all the favorites to advance and guess what? Go 16 and 0 on Friday. That's what I want to do. The chalk's the way to go. We had four number one seeds in the in the final four last year and that was the first time in forever. And that shocked people. Wow, it finally happened again. It's been quite a few years since we had four number one seeds in the final four. It's going to happen again. It's very likely going to happen again. Because look around.

8:20Find me the dangerous team right now in this bracket that is not a one seed. I have a couple of ideas and in my bracket, I did get cute. I put St. John's in the final four. Because I thought Duke with the injuries, little vulnerable, Patino and St. John's losing early last year. I thought maybe a little bit of a revenge tour. Right? By the way, my Illinois team total is not dead yet. We got three minutes left. They have 71 points. So hopefully these backups can keep a steal in the ball and running full court not full court, but you know, I'm saying like fast breaks and dunks. Because that would be awesome. Because they just got a couple of turnovers and a couple of dunks that, you know, is fun here. So three minutes. I need nine points and three minutes from Illinois. Let's hope that I get there. Okay. In my bracket, I put St. John's in the final four. Again, I thought Duke was vulnerable. I think UCLA could upset you, but even if you con wins and I get a Yukon St. John's rematch maybe

9:21in the elite, well, we saw St. John's win two and other three matchups this year. And the way that they won that biggest championship game, the way that they embarrassed Yukon at Madison Square Garden. That impressed the hell out of me. And like I said, it's the Patino revenge tour. After being upset as a two scene last year, this team has talent. This team has motivation. This team has the experience. So yeah, that's the, that's the, that's a team that I thought gets to the final four. Should they, you know, could they upset Duke? Yes. And then the only other non one seed that I have is Houston over Florida. Maybe Florida loses to Vandy when, or we'll see what Vandy does here on Nebraska, but maybe Florida loses or just the fact that even if it's Florida against Houston, the draw that Houston got is their best friend. Houston being able to play the sweet 16 and the elite eight a mile away from campus at the Toyota center in Houston. That is a home court advantage that no one else will have in this tournament.

10:23Maybe Mizzou playing in St. Louis, but still you get the idea. There are a mile away from campus. Last year in the final four, the Houston fans dominated that building in San Antonio. That was three hour drops of three hour drive. This is like a three minute walk. Literally, that three minutes, but it's a, it's a walk to go to the arena here. So I think Houston with that home court advantage gets to the final four in that South region, but then Arizona, Michigan, no one's topping them. And if you told me that Florida beats Houston, okay, sure, yes, I'll believe it. And if you tell me Duke's not going to lose, then yeah, my upset pick of St. John's is too cute. If we, the best bet that I made going into this NCAA tournament was over one and a half one seeds to make the final four. It was my largest investment going into this tournament. And it's a bet that if you gave me odds on it right now, I still bet it. In fact, I'm going to look it up to see if any sportsbook is still offering that bet

11:24because we will have at least two number one seeds in this final four, if not three or four. We're going to continue to talk about the NCAA tournament. Even if Illinois gets the ball back here, they're going to dribble out the possession again. They're not going to take a shot, or they might get one shot. I mean, I'm just hoping like a backup kid gets like a steal and a dunk or something, but it's not going to happen here. This game is over. And a great day that I had ends on a sour note. 15:28Appreciate you having me Scott, man. Great to be in studio with you, man. So talk to me about the Siena bit. Why Siena first half Moneyline? And I know all the favorites have dominated over the past like day or so. But have you gone back to the well, maybe unsuccessfully with some of these dogs on the Moneyline in the first half? I have, but I hit right state on the next day. So I hit plus 750 on that. So I have a 20 to one and then I also have a plus 750. But I did eat crow on what? Prairie view, firmen and a couple others. But ultimately, when you hit a 20 to one, you're going to be plus EV for the entire weekend. So yeah, that was a nice start. Set the tone for the weekend after Miami, Ohio, which our whole podcast had. And I mean, you can sense it in my voice like the Vegas March, man, it's been, it's been a good time here at Circa. It's been amazing. And listen, for a dog better like myself, maybe not so great. But today was a better day, not this game. And you know, this game is going to, you know, was a big disappointment for me. Illinois is an interesting team. Because there's a lot of people that I talk to before the tournament

16:30that had Illinois as like outside of the one seed as a team that could win the national championship. And I know it's like hard to say a 20 point win is not impressive. But this 20 point win's not impressive to me. Because as someone who bet this game, I watched this whole game. I watched them go eight of 24 from three point line. I watched them not being able to get successful offensive possessions against a tired VCU team. I mean, this is a team that scored what 105 points in their first round game and couldn't touch 80 here against VCU. I think is a real little disappointing. I think Illinois is a high variance team. And I just, with the way that they, the volume that they shoot threes and defensively, I think they are a little bit soft. We call them team Europe because they have all the European guys. And they're such a unique style with how they spread you out and they can make shots from all five positions and bounce it. But ultimately, when you got to win six straight games, I don't think Illinois is a team that can stack six wins in a row.

17:34Just because they're so up and down. And I'm looking at that South region too. And just like seeing the way at the bracket shapes up for them. Like, I mean, I have Houston coming out of that region. Yeah. But if it's not Houston, it's going to be Florida. Like they're not Illinois doesn't stack up against those two teams. But I heard some people that did like them. If you're looking at these seeds, this is what I think is fascinating. I talked in the first segment about how no one should be surprised that we're seeing the largest amount of 20 point victories in the tournament ever that we're seeing the favorites go 16 and 0 on a Friday second day of the tournament that we're seeing the favorites dominate and cover. Every favorite has one uncovered here in the second round with the exception of Gonzaga losing to Texas. Yep. I don't think this should surprise anybody because college basketball now is to have versus to have nuts. It's the teams that have the money to pay the players versus the programs that don't. And with all due respect to these teams and the metrics that we analyze all the time about how they play hard. They're senior laden, they're well coached. I got four NBA players on the other side. That's the team I'm going to bet on.

18:34Yeah, and I also think the NBA has also had a impact on college basketball where there's more possessions too. Like I feel like the more teams are shooting threes at a higher volume than ever before, teams are playing faster. Scoring was up more than ever this year in college basketball. So that kind of correlates to why we're seeing more favorites, big favorites, cover and cover easily quite frankly. I mean, Duke was in a dog fight today. And yeah, maybe the whistle was was not very good and went against CCU, but they blew that thing open and won by 20 and covered easily, Michigan covered easily. Now Illinois covers easily. We'll see if Arkansas can pull away in the second half. It's just also in the round of 32, you get your, you dip your toes in the first game. You get the nerves out and all the March madness that comes with it. Usually the cream rise to the to the top here in the second. Absolutely. Talking to Ryan McIntyre sports gambling podcast network, Moneyline Mac, who is riding a high here so far in the NCAA tournament.

19:35Let's take a look at the games coming up here on Sunday. As the second round will continue and a lot tighter spreads. Yeah. So I think we could see some drama here unfold on Sunday. You get the Miami Purdue game, the 270 matchup in the West, Purdue with seven and a half point favorite, the 72 matchup in the Midwest. Iowa State Kentucky. Iowa State of four and a half point favorite. St. John's Kansas, the four five in the east with the Johnny's three and a half point favorites, Tennessee Virginia, the three six in the Midwest, Tennessee only one and a half point favorites. Iowa Florida, the one nine in the South Florida, 10 and a half. That's your highest spread. Also Arizona 11 and a half over Utah State, the one nine in the West. UCLA UConn, the two seven, UConn four and a half. And Texas Tech, Bama with Texas Tech, a one and a half point favorite. So we have a lot of tight lines, which is the most intriguing game to you. What's your best bet? I like Iowa State and I know Jefferson is banged up and it may not play, but I just think Iowa State's toughness coming out of the big 12, Austin Burger and Company, I'll say it on record.

20:35I think Kentucky's a fraud. I think Kentucky's a fraud. I thought Louisville was a fraud. I think those teams are full schooled. That was a miracle that they got that game to overtime the other day. Again, Santa Clara, defensively they just have so many holes. I trust Austin Burger, Iowa State and Company. They're toughness and they're pedigree in that program. Just to grind that thing out. I don't think they need Jefferson. They got Taiman Lipsy and Mom Chulavitch. It's a veteran group, prideful group. I'll lay the five with Iowa State. Imagine having Santa Clara on the under one that game. Oh, couldn't have been anybody in this room. No, no, couldn't have been. Talk to me about St. John's Kansas, because I do have the one part, the one part of my bracket where I did get cut in was putting St. John's in the final four. My opinion was I watched that performance against Yukon in the biggest championship game, and I was thoroughly impressed. I also think it's a little bit of the Patino revenge story after being upset as a 2C last year, and they have so much experience on this team and the coaching. Plus, I thought Duke coming in was banged up, obviously.

21:37So I'm like, let's, I don't know what to expect from Duke. Obviously, they looked a little bit better in the second half here today, but should it get to a St. John's Duke match up? I kind of like the Johnny's there. They have to get by Kansas first. What do you think of St. John's laying three and a half here against Kansas? Well, I think you hit the nail in the head. They got to get by Kansas still. I think a lot of people have ridden off Kansas, and I know they looked horrible the last 10 minutes, but they were up 26. This is still Bill Self. This is still a proud program with Kansas, with the winning pedigree. I think the teams are very similar. Both teams have really dominant big men with Bedunga versus edge of four in the inside. Both teams are super physical, Hall of Fame coaches that we already hit on. I think this is the Darren Peterson coming out, and I don't like Darren Peterson. Like I've been very outspoken. I am anti-load management, but this game, I think this is a game, Peterson makes shots, and we see that potential of why he was the number one pick coming into the year. I think Kansas is going to beat the Johnny's.

22:37I think I think Kansas has enough pieces, and they're proven with wins over Arizona, Iowa State and Houston coming out of the big 12. I'm curious to see how the market moves this line, as we close to the tip, about five o'clock Eastern time tomorrow, five, 15. So, very curious to see how the market moves this game. What should take on the totals? You mentioned that scoring's up, more three point shooting. We saw a barrage of overs, like yesterday, what was it? Eight no to the early session was the overs, overs wound up ruling the day. Yesterday, today, it's been kind of a mixed bag. What do you think about the totals here, and any total that catches your eye for tomorrow's games? Usually more on the unders in the round of 32, just because I think it's a quick turn. You're not as fresh, and the scouting is so good this time of year. The under that probably would catch my eye, would probably be Yukon and UCLA. Okay. You're getting early, micron and two defensive coaches. Both teams, I don't think really played very well the other night too. I see it's in there, what, at 137. I think both those teams, that game's a grinder.

23:39So yeah, give me, I do like Yukon in the game to pull away, make the free throws with that veteran championship core, but I like the under in Yukon, UCLA. By the way, I mean, you're the, you're the committee here. St. John's in the East region has to fly out to Philadelphia. I mean, fly out to San Diego to play UCLA. Also in the East region has the fly cross country to Philadelphia to play. If they're in the same bracket, just have them stay on the right coasts. Oh my goodness. 25:39as Nebraska has a 4844 lead with 1350 to go in that second half. You catch Greg's right ups up on VCINEMM.com and during this week, of course, all over the network as we break down the brackets. So Greg, it has been a chalky tournament with the exception of Texas, obviously, upsetting Gonzaga today. It was 16 and no favorites yesterday and only one dog winning today has that surprised you at all that the favorites have dominated here in this NCAA tournament. Now, I thought that the first few seats they were going to be able to get through one through three seats. I thought that they were going to be able to get the job done. I thought we would see a little bit more on the 11 line, the 12 line. I thought that those scenes would be a little bit better. So slightly surprised. Like I do feel like the top eight teams of college basketball, they all should be here right now and they all are here.

26:40That said, I did think that we would get a little bit more with a few of these teams that maybe you'll be able to get a few more double figure seats in there. And maybe we will get one or two more. We'll see what high point is able to do tonight, but looks like Texas, they might be that lone double figure seats that makes the sweet 16 to beyond. Out of these top seats, Greg, that have maybe started to separate themselves from the pack. As expected, I mean, don't get me wrong. Like we've expected this, right? And you were the guy that called for all four number one teams to make the final four last year, correctly. So no surprise to you where it's to have as versus to have nots here in this new world of college basketball that we live in, which of these one seeds or maybe one or two seeds to you based off of the games just that you've seen, not what you've seen all season and what you anticipated coming into the tournament based off of their performance in this tournament alone, which top seed do you think is the most vulnerable to an upset? If you look at just this tournament in a vacuum and that and that alone, it has to be due because I implore to absolutely mop the floor with prayer review.

27:43You saw Michigan today look as dominant as they did for Houston. They looked as dominant as they did and Duke is really the long team that really had a struggle other than you can't like with you gone. That was a little bit rough, but I don't think that the matchup against UCLA is the world's worst. I do want to be checking in on the set. It's so of silo summary because that's a guy that average six assists for a game, leads a team with that regard. But if you're looking at the one seeds, it has to be Duke being the most vulnerable there. And then for the two seeds, it's Yukon based on the fact that for him it was able to give them a little bit of a fight yesterday. So let's talk about Yukon who takes on UCLA here coming up tomorrow in the second round. And I'm still just baffled at the committee's decision to have two teams in the east region of the bracket, right? UCLA has the travel cross country to Philadelphia. St. John's has the travel cross country to San Diego. Like make it make sense. Make it make sense, Craig. It just doesn't. It doesn't like they did a bad job with the geographical locations of these games. That's besides the point different argument for a different day.

28:43UCLA catching four and a half here against Yukon in what could be a low scoring game. We're seeing a total about 136 and a half. We know that these two teams like playing defense, what you're reading, what you're angle on this game. I actually do like the over here because for UCLA, they have not been strong down low. And we saw terrorists read out rebound, firm and by himself. He had 27 rebounds and firm and had 23. Like you just don't see that every day. You don't see that every week. So I do think that Yukon has a nice advantage out low. But again, I do want to see what the status of stylist Emory is because not only does he give you scoring and not only does he give you facilitation, double figure score. That gives you about six assists per game. You could tell the firm had felt a little bit stronger from the perimeter without them out there on the floor. Yukon overall is 15th in the country in terms of points allowed on a per possession basis, 21st and opponent three point cheating per sege. They're just not as strong with Emory as not out there. And for UCLA, what they do a great job of his are three point cheating. They're a top 25 team in terms of three point cheating per sege.

29:44They take care of the ball, top 15 team in terms of views, turn over sound and per possession basis with regards at four and a half. That's where I set my numbers. So as the Demory news comes out, whether or not he's going to play or not because he's right now listed as questionable, that will probably be solidifying whether or not I'm going to be willing to go with Yukon or UCLA. But I do like this over because I do think that this will be closer up for lay fells, whether or not Demory does or not does not play. And for UCLA, like the way that they pop it from three. Hmm. What do you think about St. John's? I know we've talked off the air about the Johnny's. You know, I have them in my final four. St. John's taking on Kansas here. I do think that St. John's against Duke. I think that's a winnable game for the Johnny's. They have to get by Kansas first. You can't just project ahead without talking about the game that's right in front of your face here. St. John's a three and a half point favorite against Kansas. Are you concerned at all about this possibly being Darren Peterson, just being the most talented player on the floor? I know the bigs kind of even themselves out here with both of these teams. We know about the coaching. What do you have in this matchup between St. John's and Kansas?

30:46I'd be willing to like to fight with St. John's. I think it's a job known because with Kansas, I, what is Darren Peterson be able to provide for the CM over the last few weeks when he's been playing 30 plus minutes? Like, I mean, this is just me watching these Kansas games. They were at their best when they were getting like 20 to 25 minute first out of Darren Peterson. It feels like there are some portions where the game where he goes in to take over mode. There are other portions of the game where he's just taking inefficient shots. So I think that that's a big thing for this Kansas team. And initially, for St. John's, they're just doing the little things better. While Kansas is a team that ranks 30 second in the country, in terms of points allowed on a perpossession basis, St. John's is 9th. And the reason why is that St. John's is a top 55 team. It turns the turn of the generate that on a perpossession basis. Kansas will not put you under duress. 339th in terms of generating turnovers. That means clean offense for a St. John's team, with which your biggest weakness is not having a point card. When you're not really in danger of turning the ball over a lot, being able to not necessarily have that true point card, running things more through your bigs would soon be edge of fur,

31:47along till Mitchell being your top two facilitators. If that actually works out very well for St. John's, it's a Kansas team that is also giving up a lot of second and third chances. Outside the top 190 in Jersey defense rebound process, St. John's feasts on being able to get those second and third chances. I like St. John's here laying the 3.5. I do like that total under because once again, with this Kansas team, they haven't made great on offense. Outside the top 140 as a matter of fact, turns the plates for a possession. Talking to our very own Greg Peterson here on the progressive guest lines, we break down the brackets here. Second round, action of the NCAA tournament, continuing here on Sunday, the two seven matchup in the Midwest region Iowa state takes on Kentucky. I looked up this trend, Greg, if you in the history of the database, history of the NCAA tournament, right? Then this in the database, it goes back to the 2007 tournament. If you played in overtime in your first round game, in the second round, those teams with VCU losing to Illinois here on Saturday are now 6 and 21 straight up.

32:47Is this a fade spot here for Kentucky in our rebacking Iowa state? With Iowa state, I think that that Joshua Jefferson injury is massive because while he does give you 15 plus points for game, he's also the top rebounder for this team. And I think that Kentucky is going to look to try to drive the ball inside with having Mohammed Diabate, along with Balakai Marano, who combined for 12 rebounds per game to take over this game. Now for Iowa state, where they still have a nice advantage along the perimeter. This team is fourth in the country in terms of turnovers, generated on a privileged basis. You saw for lack of better term, your quarterback of the defensive to bottom looks to be, who's able to give you two steals per game. It does a great job on that front, but I'm actually willing to take the points with Kentucky because we saw when Iowa state was without another key player, Malai and Mema Sullivan, they were just really worth the same team. For Iowa state, they don't necessarily have the world's greatest step in the world. I think that that's going to come back to bite them a little bit. I'm not willing to take Kentucky on the money line, but I am willing to take the five year with Kentucky, even though they played that overtime game, which I know that I was hearing you in the last segment.

33:48You were much like me. I had said a clear with the points that I had that total under as well. That was a nice, hearty double beat right there. So misery had company there, but I do think that Kentucky hangs in there because I think that the Jefferson injury is a really big deal for Iowa state. Final thing, Greg. We got about a minute left from a derivative market perspective. Has there been something that you've noticed here in this tournament that you want to continue to bet moving forward, whether it's these heavy favorites on their team totals to go over or maybe the opponents team totals to go under the first half spreads, anything that you've noticed from these ancillary markets? Look at something live, I would say. I didn't necessarily go derivative market, but what I've been noticing is that when these games are tight, it feels like the favorite. It just pulled away in the last seven minutes. You'll look at that Alabama versus Hofstra game. You'll look at what we saw today and TCU versus do. These teams that they're playing relatively close for about 30 minutes are giving you a good fight. Then it just feels like the favorite pulls away in the final few minutes.

34:48That's something that I'd be very much looking at. The favorites of pull away late. That's a great point. We've seen it a lot and it's probably going to happen. Like I said, we're the halves versus the have-nots here in the NCAA tournament. Greg, continue the great work. 36:57NCAA tournament, second round action here on this Saturday evening, currently in Nebraska, a 55-53 lead over Vanderbilt, still nine minutes and 32 seconds left to go in that game. Arkansas with a 43-42 lead over high point at the half. So that one is a lot closer than expected as this one closed with Arkansas as a 13 point favorite. The total closed at 171 and a half. And right now we are sitting with a live total of 176 and a half and Arkansas eight and a half point favorites on the live line. And when we talked with Greg Peterson, last segment and he, I kind of agree with what he was saying here. We got about eight minutes to go here until the second half that these teams have pulled away in the second half. Like these teams have these favorites, I should say, have pulled away in the second half with the exception of like a Gonzaga. But you know, this is Arkansas high points a lot different

38:00than Texas Gonzaga, right? We're talking Texas team out of the SEC against Gonzaga, who yes, has all the talent in the world, but we, you know, they're playing the West Coast Conference here. This is a Arkansas and SEC team with all the talent with Calipari and with Brazil and and a cuff against high point, just a hot shooting up and down fast, you know, running team. Let's see, right now stats at the half here. We have Arkansas four of eight from three point range, high point six of 20. They've already taken 23s here in the first half. My goodness, not a lot of fouls in this game. It's been fast phase. It started off slow, but then it automatically then it jumped up here. And I got to feel like there's a bet here on Arkansas in the second half. There are team totals at 92 and a half for the game. So we're talking about them scoring what 40, I mean, 50 points in the second half to get to 93. 43 points on not great shooting.

39:03So 43 points on seven to 50 percent from the field, but four of eight from three point range. I just don't think they've taken off threes to get to, you know, 50 points here in the second half. Without being said, if the pace plays for the second half, like you did for the second half of the first half, then yeah, both these teams can get there. And then of course, fouls could help you down the stretch. I do think that maybe, maybe the better bet. If we're thinking that the favorite's going to pull away here is high point under 84 and a half. There's high point score 40 to 43 points in the second half. Again, there were six of 20 from three point range. So you're thinking they're going to keep chucking. They make a couple of those threes. Things can change. They could score. But if we believe the favorite's going to pull away. If we believe that to be the case, then Arkansas pulls away and, you know,

40:05they score high 80s. Maybe they get to 90, but they threaten that team total. And let's say they win the game by 10, 90 to 80, something like that. Then I would just better off do an Arkansas minus eight and a half. They're up by one right now. Do they win the second half by eight points? That's the question. Could be, let's see, three pointers. Well, that's just player props here. Team props, as I mentioned, we're looking at the team totals for both these teams. Second half total is at 91 and a half. I mean, my goodness. It's a high number, but with the pace that both these teams play at, it's, uh, it's certainly certainly capable of happening. And then, of course, you get to the situation where it could be fouls at the end, where you're concerned about the total is if what happened in that Illinois game that we lost at Illinois team total is that with VCU getting blown out, Illinois just wasn't going to score. If VCU had 10 more points in the second half, and that score at the end was 70, they finished 76, 55.

41:10Well, let's say the score was 76 to 65. Well, on those final three possessions for Illinois, they're not dribbling out the shot clock, like they're probably trying to score. And then for VCU, if you're down by 10 points there, you're probably still fouling, but the fact that it was a 20 point game that led toward it going under that led towards that team total going under. So for Arkansas here against a high point, if we think it stays close as much as we think close game tight defense could lead to the under, I actually think the close game helps the over. Because as long as there is a team within single digits, there's going to be fouls at the end. So the question you have to ask yourself, if you're looking at a second half total here, not just in this game, but in any game. And by the way, I'm not trying to force a pick here just for the sake of having a pick. I don't do that. If I think there's an edge, we're going to play it. If I don't, we're not going to play it. But if you're looking at a live in game play,

42:10and we're going to do this all day tomorrow, when I'm sitting in here hosting live that Sunday for four hours, you want to think you want to look at that factor. Is the game going to be close at the end? And will you get those free throws? Will the game be extended? And listen, we've seen unders die in this NCAA tournament, because the game gets extended, and there winds up being 15 points in the final two minutes or so. We've seen stone cold dead nut unders wind up going over and just crushing people here in this tournament. And obviously the public and the overbetters are cheering. You know, like I'm sitting here, I'm sitting at the books two days in a row here. I'm sitting at sportsbooks watching the games and watching people cheer when it comes down to something at the end. And I'm like, oh, yeah, they just hit the over. The miracle over that they just hit me while I'm sitting here like crying because I just lost an under where the game was under the whole way. Look no further than what South Florida Louisville, right? If you would have told me in that game,

43:12I'm going to, so I'm going to give you 3727 first half. I would have paid you to have that score and then figure out what would have happened there in the second half. So that's something obviously we'll keep an eye on. But I think, man, high point Arkansas second half here, I don't have a play again. I'm not going to force it. The question you have to ask yourself, not just in this game, but in any game, is do you think that it's going to be close late? And if it is, that's going to lead to more scoring. If you think one team pulls away and Arkansas winds up covering eight and a half and the live line, then there's a chance that this game probably goes under in the second half. We don't get 92 points in the second half. And maybe high point goes under their team total. And that could be the play. Once again, I'm Scott Saddenberg always on Twitter at ScotsOnAir. If your team does not cover, if you don't win against the spread, you're out. And that's it. Now, I started with five entries in this tournament. As most people do, there's $55,000 in the prize pool.

45:18The contest started with 2,737 entries. And I started with five of those. Going into today's Saturday, they were down to 730 entries. That is a bloodbath. Losing 2,000 entries in the first two days of the NCAA tournament is a bloodbath. And I had three entries left going into here a Saturday. And all three of mine were winners. So I had Michigan State. I shoved all three on Michigan State. We covered. Now we move on to tomorrow. I'm curious to see it. I'm going to continue to monitor to Twitter to see when they tweet this out. How many entries of that 730 survived here on Saturday to advance to Sunday. But right now, 55,000 up for grabs. I got three entries going into Sunday here. The debate is who's the pick for Sunday. To me, it's a challenge to battle.
