These situational spots, the last few weeks have been coming in left and right, bounce back situations or fading a team off a big win or a look ahead spot for squads. And every time that everyone else is on them, they come through. When I bet them, they do not. And right now, my bet of Iowa State, catching seven and a half, got a pretty good number, sought down to six and a half at Caesars, a little bit earlier tonight before it tipped off. And currently, number two, Arizona leads Iowa State, 64 to 48. Okay. And for Arizona, I got to stop fading this team. I do believe in them, but there's been so many chances during this season where I've bet against them. And they've made me look so foolish as Iowa State just does not look like the same team on the road here. And

2:08that's back-to-back losses for them in the big 12 that you don't like to see. Just want to see how they're shooting from three as we start the show up because for Iowa State, yeah, they're shooting 24% from three. That's just not going to get it done. And Arizona's back to full health. They've got co-opied back, although he only has four points tonight as Arizona, doing a lot of their work from the charity stripe 19 to 22 from the free throw line, just 31% from three, 45% from the field. They lead 64 to 48 right now. They're laying 16 and a half. Total is 130 and a half. There's a game that closed at seven. It looks like seven is what I'm seeing. And 149 and a half on the total Arizona man. They're going to be one of the one seeds. It makes all the sense in the world while you want to back them, while you want to believe in them. They have depth. They are battle tested. They've played a very hard schedule all season long. And through the big 12, they are looking like the most dangerous team out of that league as we enter the month of March.

3:08Right now, the other game earlier in case you missed it, the Duke Blue Devils took care of business 93 64 against NC State. I had nine and a half with the wolf pack at home. It was completely irrelevant very early in the first half where you knew Duke was the better team. And Duke has reached a stratosphere this year that is really historical. It's not just boozer, right? It's the way they play team defense. It's the way Shire is able to coach up this team. And I saw this on X right before we hit the air. Duke right now on Kenpom ratings. They are now up to a plus 40.81 net rating. What does that mean? That means that they are 40 points better than an average D1 team. I want to repeat that. According to Kenpom, Duke is now 40 points better than an average D1 team. We are having a renaissance of college basketball Arizona back in the fold. Duke looking like the clear number one overall in the country heading into the tournament. You've got Michigan who lost the Duke, but has plenty of great wins along the way. And then you have a team

4:10like Florida surging right now. Yukon's getting on track. This thing is not wide open, like we normally expect it to be. But I do believe the level of play we're going to see in March. Madness this year is going to be in a different echelon because in years past, there were a lot of mid majors that you'd want to back. And I'm someone who loves to find those mid majors that are worth getting a big ticket on and seeing if they can make the run. Those mid majors, the superstars on their teams are now the numbers twos and the number threes on a lot of these big 10 big 12 ACC power schools. And that's why the product is so good. There are so many teams that are hitting their stride when it matters right now that if you want to look at some longer shots, I totally understand it. That's something I want to do. But it does appear that the best teams in the country, someone in that top four five range is going to wind up cutting the nets this year because they're just too good. They're too deep. And Duke is one of those teams, 93 64. And you have to understand the situation. You have NC state often embarrassing loss. You have Duke off the win against Virginia where people

5:12thought Virginia was live. And oh, by the way, Duke recently lost in North Carolina. And that's who they face after NC state. It's also a rivalry game for the wolf pack who hate Duke more than Duke hates them. Duke doesn't even think about NC state. And yet it doesn't matter. Blue devils win 93 64. You're expected national player of the year. Camboos are 26 points. Nine rebounds. Three assists. A monster performance from him. Blue devils are good man. They're deep. They're defensive. And defense is the theme. As I start to look and add a few more futures tickets as far as college basketball is concerned, I am targeting great defensive teams. I think in the past I've gotten caught up with offensive juggernauts thinking that's going to travel in the dance. It's not when you think about the play that these these teams are going to go through the amount of games that they have to play day in and day out. The way there's short turnaround and a lot of these instances on these weekends. And then week to week, the preparation, the travel. The one thing you can rely on is defense is going

6:12to travel because it's effort. It's X's and O's. It's a game plan. Sometimes shots aren't falling. And we've seen that in March, madness, plenty of times with the sight lines being new, some of the stadiums being different for these teams and the mismatches in terms of some of the length that teams aren't used to seeing that they do end up facing when it comes to the NCAA tournament. I'm focusing on defensive teams at this point in the season that I want to add or at least coaches that I trust are going to have a good plan on that end of the floor. But right now tonight, the two big games. I thought the dogs had a chance. Dogs didn't have a prayer man as Arizona is looking to close out. Iowa State leading now 65 to 48 there. In terms of the NBA, some interesting stories tonight in a really short slate of action. So in case you missed it in Milwaukee, Yannis Antitucupo has returned for the box. He played 25 minutes tonight against Boston 19 11 and two for the Greek freak as he returns the bucks squad today. They do lose though. 108 81 Boston was laying seven. They obviously

7:13cover that very easily. And we go under the total of two 15 and a half in that game. Yannis returns, which is like, not sure why you're doing that right now. Milwaukee has the 10th pick in the draft. Milwaukee currently in terms of playoff seedings is right on the outside of the play in tournament Charlotte is that last team in the 10 seed Milwaukee is four games behind them. They must be pretty confident that they're not going to win enough games down the stretch of the regular season to blow their chance to get a really good draft pick this year, currently sitting in the 10 spot. Just a game ahead of Chicago. Now there's a huge gap between them and the team after that, which would be Washington who only has 16 wins. The bucks have 26 wins. But Yannis is back. Maybe the goal is to get some chemistry from here on out right to put some of this together and build on it for next year as some of these young guys Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins of playing well, AJ Green is cooled off a bit and Miles Turner looks like he doesn't fit with the rest of the roster. So I'm not sure Turner's going to be there, but the rest of the guys learning how to play with Yannis

8:15going to be crucial because it does appear he's going to be there next year. They could have traded for traded him this year. They opted not to he sounds like he's committed. I think that's going to stick. I think Yannis is going to end up being a buck for life. Other game earlier in the association that went fine on Houston beat the Wizards 123 to 118 on the road in DC. Washington does cover. They were catching 15 in this game. We end up going over the total of 224 in a hook. Looking at the box score led by Alperin Shengoons 32 13 and 2 see that that annoys me. It was a great match up for Shengoon. But last night in the starting five where we look at NBA player props. I just said, you know, this could be a blowout. It's a 15 point spread. There's a chance he doesn't play in the fourth quarter. So I won't bet it. Well, Houston played around with their food for a little bit. Washington was able to make it a game. In fact, in the fourth quarter, they outscored the Rockets 38 to 29. That's how he ended up with a five point game. So Shengoon ends up getting the job done and he goes over on his props. Kevin Durant had 30 points for the

9:17Houston Rockets. And I wanted to bet some unders and of course, Trey Johnson, who I wanted to bet under on, wasn't available to later in the day. And it was really low at around 15 and a half PRA. He only has five, four and three. Bill L Coolabali had 23 points for the Washington Wizards. Kishan George had 16 and Sharif Cooper 21 off the bench for the Wizards there. So as a lot of Wizards talk, I apologize. I went way too deep on that box score. All right, the other games currently in action. The jazz and the nuggets 10 for up 110107. They're on a back end of a back to back, embarrassing loss yesterday as three and a half point favorites against Minnesota. And tonight they were laying 10 on the road at Utah. Look at the jazz man. A team definitely not trying to win. Currently fifth in your lottery odds right now in terms of the standings to have the number one pick in the draft next year. And right now they're hanging with the Denver Nuggets who have all sorts of issues since the return of Nikola Yokich. Now he hasn't been the issue. He's putting up monster numbers, but they're not winning games.

10:18They have a losing record since Yokich has returned to the lineup. That's concerning. I don't really know what to make of it. I don't know if it's the defensive side of things not coming together. I don't know if it's that they miss Aaron Gordon who hasn't played in a while. That would be the one piece that I do think is the glue that brings this squad together is what Aaron Gordon does defensively. And I'm just being that extra score on the other end of the floor. I do think they miss him one that once they get him back, Denver will be able to hit their stride. Jamal Murray has 35 points eight assists and two rebounds so far in this game as Denver's now up one 12107. We're losing a bet. In fact, we already lost it. We went filipowski under 90 under his PRA of 23 and a half. And he's got 19 points seven rebounds and four assists. So that one never even had a prayer. Can't they George did play in this game? He has 21 points for the Utah Jazz as that's where we stand with that game going on. The other late game in the NBA. The Warriors on top of the Clippers 5642. 15:38paint they get to the free throw line and I think maybe in today's college basketball that might be a little bit underrated I mean they just crushed Iowa State 73 to 57 a lot of questions about Iowa State coming off this game too by the way that's too back to back losses for them and I tried to justify the Texas Tech loss as the red raiders didn't have JT top in on Saturday by saying well perhaps Iowa State was looking ahead to this matchup with Arizona it is very clear with the final score being 73 57 and Arizona covering the number of 7 7 and a half Iowa State indeed was not looking ahead Iowa State may be playing their worst basketball when it matters the most late in the year it doesn't help when Mela and mom mom Solovitch I almost said it right only has five points see that's that's an issue for this team because lip sees a stud guard who makes this engine go but Milan needs to be the guy that gets them going especially beyond the arc 17 points per game for him 50% from three he's a six eight guy he can get buckets yeah if he's not scoring I really don't

17:51best player in JT Topin but they've gone three and oh without him and I thought the win at Iowa State with six players scoring in double figures told a story it told you that other guys were capable of stepping up in this team you got Christian Anderson is the best point guard in the country at well can score with the best of them especially beyond the arc both of them were tremendous in aims mostly in three games without Topin has 20 points in 40 minutes 9 to 13 from the field 20 boards seven blocks and they've got the best shop blocker in the nation but more importantly you've got a coach and Grant McCasteland as he might right now be a top five coach all things equal you give everyone the same roster I'm not so sure McCasteland doesn't get the most out of his team because one thing I like about him he plays guys in foul trouble he's also created with rotations and his lineups he's willing to throw different looks out there if it's good for a certain match up and you guys use guys in unique ways he doesn't just say these this is my starting five this is how I'm rolling out here these are the minutes these guys are allocated each night no he's willing to be creative in the way he deploys his team he's creative they're

18:52aggressive he uses rotations and he's good at exposing mismatches and if you look at their schedule they've won four of seven games as underdogs outright Duke Houston at Arizona at Iowa State that's four top 10 wins the same number as Michigan Texas text 25 to one to make the final four I bet it last night I think this team is absolutely capable of getting capable of getting to the final four also you have to factor in despite not having top in it's a rest of a roster that's got a whole season of playing in the big 12 they're battle tested uniquely different than a lot of these other teams that are going to show up in the dance and have not gone through the slog of a schedule that the rate red raiders have I really like Texas tech 25 to one as a bet to make the final four do I think they make the final four no can they make the elite eight yes can I hedge at that point apps of freaking looply aren't taking a 25 to one it's cashing out I'm Dustin sweetle sin visin these sports betting network recapping the weekend that was with like love and love Texas tech is what I liked from the weekend here's what I loved now I don't love that I didn't bet it before
