Let's go places. Few things are as uplifting as the greatest moments in sports. And nothing brings us together quite like Team USA at the Olympic winter games. From NBC Universal's iconic storytelling to the innovative technology across Exfinity and Peacock, Comcast brings the Olympic Games home to America, sharing every moment with
millions. When Team USA steps onto the world stage, we're not just watching. We're cheering together. This winter, we're all on the same team. Comcast, proud partner of Team USA. Dustin Swittlesen with you all night long from the circus sports book in downtown Las Vegas broadcasting as always series XM channel 158 YouTube TV, the visa watch app and radio affiliates across the United States of God bless America. A lot to get to here in our final hour of the program. We'll hit some futures with debt or alive, including a couple of final four bets that I think make a lot of sense, including one at 10 to one. Plus, we'll preview the Monday card of action with the visa morning bet segment Iowa State looking to rebound from that embarrassing loss to Texas tech. Problem is that big 12 schedule doesn't let up for anyone. We'll see if they can pull it off Duke NC State will go at it as hard as they can. Is it a look
ahead spot for Duke with North Carolina looming following the matchup with the wolf pack. All of that coming later on this hour plus 15 minutes from now. We'll break down everything in the NHL with Jonathan Davis, Vincent hockey analyst. But right now, we want to look at some player prop matchups for Monday in the NBA. It's a short slate. And when I looked at all the matchups, you got to hold your nose. Unders really jumped out to me. I didn't even realize I did this until I got ready here on the air to introduce this segment. But we're looking at Unders in all of the plays that I think make the most sense here for player props on Monday. So in case you missed it, we got one, two, three, four games on a Monday night in the NBA. And in terms of player props, these are the ones that jumped out to me. First, we're going to go to Golden State hosting the Clippers. Clippers are coming off a back-to-back. You always have to keep that in mind here. But the Clippers are elite at defending small forwards, which is why I think it might be a tough go for Moses Moody. Moses Moody taken on a Clipper's
defense that allows the seventh fewest points per game, third fewest rebounds, ninth fewest assists per game to opposing point guards. That is huge. And I've seen this a few times during the season, like Jada McDaniel has been a guy in the past that the Clippers have done pretty good work on. In fact, what do they do against McDaniels today? I just want to see that against McDaniels, the Clippers. Well, that wasn't today. That was that was a couple games ago. Either way, he went under. I remember because I was monitoring it on that game. I think this against Moses Moody, a guy who has been really good lately. Since Steph Curry's been injured, he's taken on a bigger role in terms of scoring. But I think his numbers might be a little bit inflated coming into this matchup, a tough one against the Clippers defense. Now, if Kauai Lenter doesn't play that probably throws a wrinkle into this and Kauai is on the back end of a back-to-back. But I do think match up wise, the rest of the group could limit Moses Moody here. Verse the Clippers in 19 minutes on January 5th, he had four two and one in 22 minutes against them in October 28th. He had nine three and two. His points prop is set at 14 and a half, which feels about right. He went under
this in his last two. He's coming off 12 and 14. Prior to that, he scored 24 and 23 respectively. And his rebound prop is at three and a hook. He's averaging 3.9 rebounds per game this month. I'm going to wait for a combo on Moody and I want to spread it across the board. I'll even include a cis here. I want to go under the PRA on Moses Moody against the Clippers, depending on what number we look like right now, with 14 and a half and three and a half. So you'd think it's about 17 and a half, 18 and a half on the points and rebounds. The assists likely set at three and a half in my mind. So 21 and a half, I lean under if we can get an under 21 and a half. That's the way I'd look for Moses Moody on his points rebounds and assists against the Clippers. AJ Green and the Bucks are going to take on the Boston Celtics. Now, both teams come into this one on a back-to-back but Boston allows the third fewest points per game, fewest assists per game to opposing small forwards. Boston's laying seven and a half on the road, your totals low, 215 and a half, especially like unders if I can do it on a low total game just because on principle,
despite what these guys may average on the season, the number is telling you there should be fewer points in the game at Boston on February 1st and 29 minutes. AJ Green had three points, two rebounds and one assists. His last five games coming into today, he was averaging 6.6 points per game, AJ Green. There's no props up yet for this game, but this is a guy I'd look to fade against an elite defensive unit for the Boston Celtics. Staying with that game, Miles Turner, I didn't realize how bad he'd been this year going up against the Celtics front court because it's like, who is he going up against? Like, I know Nemiah's Quetta is having a solid year there, but they don't have the dominance and size that we're used to seeing from the Boston Celtics of the last few years when they had guys like Porzingis who could swatch shots and you had Al Hoerford in the fold and they added Vousavitch is not really great defending centers, although he hasn't faced Miles Turner yet, but Boston enters this game allowing the ninth fewest points, third fewest rebounds and third fewest assists to centers against the Celtics on February 1st. He had seven four and one in 26
minutes against them on December 11th. He had four three and zero in 28 minutes. Now I got burnt by Miles Turner on Friday night trying to go under on his props. I imagine they're going to be set pretty low around like 16 and a half somewhere in that range. So you got to be willing to deal with the fact that it's going to be a low total that you're going to go under on, but I think this could be tough for him in this matchup with Boston. I lean under on Miles Turner right now once we get a number. We need a number before we can officially make it a play. Going back to the Golden State Warriors taken on the Clippers. Clippers are a good defensive team. That's Jeff Van Gundy's unit. I know Ty lose the head coach, but Jeff Van Gundy was brought in to give the Clippers a defense and Guy Santos tough matchup for him going up against the clip will allow the fewest points, the second fewest rebounds to opposing power forwards. He had six two and one against the Clippers in just 12 minutes on January 5th. He has been hot though. Anders this game scoring 14 points at least in his last fire or yeah, 14 points in his last five games. His PRA is set at 22 and a half.
Rebounds are set at five and a half. Just want to see something real quick on Santos who I've bet on him a few times. He's times he's been good to me. He's let me down a couple times, but mostly been good with him. He's getting buckets, man. In the month of February, he's averaging 15.1, 5.7 and four in terms of points rebounds and assists. So he's been really good. I might end up staying away from this one just because the number of 22 and a half is a bit low, but I will point out last game. He had 14 four and two. So that puts him at what 20. The game before that he had 24. So he just went over that. The game before that he went over. Yeah, I'm going to stay away from Santos. I didn't think the number would be 22 and a half. I was thinking more of like a 24 25 and a half on him at 22 and a half. I'm going to stay away with that. And then finally, no props posted for this player. That's Trey Johnson, the kid for the Washington Wizards at point guard because he's taken on a Houston Rockets team that is elite defensively. Rockets laying 15 and a half on the road at the Wizards. Total is 2 24 and a half, but he hasn't played more than 20 minutes. He just played just one time in his last eight games.
One time he's played over 20 minutes. So I guess it's only played 20 minutes a second time, but I'm talking about more than 2021 or more. He has not done that except for one time in the last eight. Again, Houston back on November 12. He wasn't used as much, but he did play 27 minutes. He only had 12 one in one. And Houston allows the fewest points, six fewest rebounds, second fewest assists to opposing shooting guards. If you don't want to do that, you can potentially look at the point guard, Bob Carrington, because the Rockets also allow the third fewest rebounds, eighth fewest assists to point guards, 16 and a half is the number on Bob Carrington, who I really like. But again, you look at the minutes for Bob Carrington, similar to Trey Johnson, Washington's obviously tanking. We understand what that means. But he only played 21 minutes against Toronto. He played 22 against Atlanta. The two prior games against Atlanta and Charlotte, he played 26 and 30. But before that, 22 again, I'm not sure how much he's on the floor. 16 and a half is a little bit low, but it is an extremely difficult matchup against the perimeter defense and the length that Houston has to offer here. Bob Carrington, Trey Johnson, those might be
under his work, looking at on the Monday card of action. Some other game matchups that are really good, but didn't make my starting five, like Alperin Shingoon, staying in that game with Houston and Washington. His PRA is set at 35 and a half as Washington allows the second most points and the most rebounds to centers. Problem is, this game is going to be a blowout. Huge point spread, as I said, of 15 and a half, you don't know if he's going to stay in this game. You also can't fade him because there's a chance he goes over this number in the first half alone. Maybe only needs a little bit of the third quarter to clear this against Washington on November 12th. He had 16, 13 and six. So that puts him at what 29, 35, that is just under this. If anything, even though it's a great matchup for Shingoon, because of the way this thing sits with a 15 and a half point spread, I'd actually lean under there. Nikola Yokich against Utah, I think conventional thought would be bouncing back on the second half of a back-to-back. Look to look at Yokich. You're just playing 37 minutes in a losing effort to Minnesota against the
jazz who allow the seventh most points per game to centers. His points prop is 30 and a half that doesn't feel overly high, but this is still a guy coming off an injury recently, playing on the back end of a back-to-back with a double digit point spread. You've got Denver Lane 10 and a half on the road at Utah and Utah is no interest in winning. The thought for me would be that Yokich could score a bunch, but he's going to get pulled from this game because Utah's going to pull all their players that matter. They do not want to win this one. Last time he faced Utah, he had 14 points, 13 boards and 13 assists. So not necessarily a lot to go over that point prop. I'd actually lean under on 30 and a half on Yokich despite the good matchup. Staying in that game, Kyle Filipowski, he tends to get a lot of the work with marketing out and some of these other guys in the front court out for Utah and Denver really good against Biggs. They allow the fifth fewest rebounds, sixth fewest assists per game to centers. Filipowski is going to be the five in this matchup and his rebound prop is set eight and a half with under juice at minus 145. I like the under and filipowski. I'm going to go under the eight and
a half rebounds against Denver because even if he gets off to a hot start, he's another player who wind up getting pulled from this game. So I like under eight and a half on him and staying in that game, Christian Brown in a bounce back spot. Utah allows the fourth most points, fifth most rebound, second most assists to shooting guards. His PR race 21 and a half. That feels a little bit low and Jamal Murray. Utah allows the most points to point guards and sixth most assists to one. His PR race 36 and a half. He's someone to consider here. But again, I don't like back in a lot of these guys on a back to back. That's why I think unders are going to be the way to go on Monday. I'm probably going to have three, four, five unders in terms of player props once all these numbers end up getting posted across the board. Air buddies over at just win bets, baby. They're awesome. Welcome back to cash you out here on Vsyn. These sports betting network. Cruise it along. It is cashing out. I'm Dustin Sweetleson. Vsyn, these sports betting network, a lot to get to here with our next guest. He is Jonathan Davis and it's really bad timing for this. It appears my pack just went out because I can't hear anything. My batteries are dying if we can get some new batteries in here before I talk to JD, a bit of emergency here. Unless I have one behind me. Do I have one behind me? Give me a second. Can't hear anything, but I have to keep talking or else we lose our, there we go. Now I hear myself. My pack just died. Look at that on the fly. I'm a man of many trades. None of them are helpful except for the one you just saw. It's called attention deficit disorder. We now welcome in Vsyn, NHL betting analyst. He has right ups every day with a ton of interesting creative bets for you. If you're looking to play the puck,
he's Jonathan Davis at West Coast hockey NHL and he joins us on the progressive guest line. What do you think of that JD? A lot of maneuvering. I'm a big boy, but I'm nimble on my feet. You are quick and not not I don't even see you sweating. Well, that's because I'm usually already sweating so you don't notice there's new sweat happening. That is the problem. How we feel in first week back from the Olympic break? How'd things go for you? They were really good for them. Really up until today. Today was, today was a bit of a rough day. I mean, the one, I'll tell you though, there is one thing that did stay true to form Dustin and that is we've had a trend in hockey this year. Some days are unders when you've got games that start before 8 p.m. Eastern. I think it's now 50, 20 and three games have gone under the total when they start before 8 p.m. Eastern. Wow. So I was just going over this when it comes to the NBA. Today in the NBA, I believe we were
eight and two to the under something like that. It was seven to know when I got under the studio. I believe it was eight and two something like that. Traditionally, I would think hockey players, NBA players, they don't think about the traditional work week like we do where they want to get out on Sunday, but apparently that's the case on Sundays. Even for these guys, they're looking to get out of town, whatever it may be. And maybe that's why we're having some undersit. I think all part of it though, Dustin is also, I think it's a younger crowd. It's more families. Maybe the atmosphere inside the building is not as great as it would be as frenetic as, you know, as it would during the week, two degree. I don't know, you know, maybe people, you know, of, you know, certain face or, you know, praying and, you know, or, you know, they had a, you know, some hockey hockey players don't usually have rough Saturday nights or Friday nights with Thursday nights during the season. But, you know, sometimes players do play guilty. No, that's interesting. No, that's just interesting to watch here. I think we should, we should monitor that in the NHL and NBA going forward. And odds would tell you that if I'm on this,
as soon as I start betting on it, when the numbers look good, the opposite's going to start happening. Jonathan Davis is our guest, NHL, Veeson, betting analyst at West Coast hockey, NHL, on X. And I love when I get the text from you about your plays because, you know, a lot of people just go, hey, I like sides. I like totals like this. You've got something creative in just about every single game that you like. So let's get started with the card for Monday. Columbus is at Madison Square Garden, Rangers plus 105 at home, Blue Jackets, minus 125 road favorites, total is six and a half. You have a couple props you like like in this one. Yeah, I mean, Mika's a bandage ad has been the gift that is that keeps on giving. One of the things that I don't know why I did this. Actually, it started last year during the playoffs. You know, I was tracking first goal of the game props and it just continued throughout the year. So I chart every team who scores the first goal, whether it's Homer Road or just the first goal of the game, but Fandool is one spot that does offer. It does allow you to bet not just the first goal
of the game, but you could break it down to first home team goal score or first road team goal score. So Rangers game tomorrow had this over the weekend. I had this on Saturday. Mika's a bandage ad of the New York Rangers to score the first Rangers goal tomorrow. He's done it a league high 15 times this year. Those props of your playing just just for him to be the first Homer way team. Average around about plus five 50. Then you're also tacking in his anytime goal prop as well. That's usually about plus 200. So it's a bandage ad. I guess at 15 times this year, he has scored the first goal. He did it in the low meeting against Columbus earlier this year. I'm back on the bandage ad tomorrow. I love it. I love it. Let's now go to the Philadelphia Flyers who are going to Toronto Leafslay in 135 totals plus 114 total six and a half in this one. You think there's a glaring stat that means we should bet this in this game. What is it? Yeah. So the stat that I'm
going with is that I'm waiting for a number to come out tomorrow, but the Philadelphia Flyers team total over their shots on goal. Toronto is dead last in the NHL when it comes to giving up shots. They give up 31.9 shots on goal per game. So if you can get a decent number based on that tomorrow, I would be on that. That's the one I feel safest about. I mean, look, Toronto Stinks, they do own the Flyers. They've won 13 of the last 14 meetings against Philadelphia. But Toronto is is a I mean, they got outshot 16 to two on Saturday night in the first period. They somehow found themselves tied at one ended up losing the game five two. They've pretty much packed it in this year. I could never lay money on the Maple Leafs even though they've dominated Philadelphia. If I get to a side tomorrow, it would be Philly at the plus money. But for now, I do like that shots on goal prop. Fandall usually has it. Rivers has it. They usually don't come out until day of game.
This is a bandage ad props. You could probably play tonight. I love it. No, I like where your heads out here getting creative. So it's a bandage ad anytime goal for the Rangers first goal as well. Flyers team total. O Rangers goal. First Rangers goal. First. Yeah. First Rangers goal or home team goal. Okay. In this case tomorrow. And then Flyers team total over on their shots on goal against Toronto, which then brings us to the next play. Dallas going to Vancouver stars minus one 92 road favorites plus one 60. The other way with the connects total five and a half here. What do you want to do? All right. So, you know, look Vancouver Stinks and they're another team that, you know, I mean, they're like a minorly cocky team right now. They've been there. They're going to continue to be torn apart. The trade deadline is Friday. Guys are really auditioning to continue to audition to play for other teams. They're coming off a five one loss to Seattle on Saturday night. You know, the only concern I have with Dallas, it's interesting.
They're like 12 and 3 as a road underdog, Dustin, but they're only six and 10 as a road favorite. So, I mean, I wouldn't I'm a little nervous about playing them despite how bad Vancouver is. So I'm going to target a couple of props and I'm going to look at Dallas to score a power play goal tomorrow. Draft Kings offers that. You go into the goal score section on draft Kings, scroll down to the very bottom. You'll see you can you'll see power play goal over a half a power play goal. Dallas is the number one power play in the NHL or number two power play. Vancouver's got the number 32 dead last on the power play. So just the stars to score power play goal. Tomorrow morning when the numbers come out, if I can find a good price on one of those guys who plays on their top power play unit to earn a power play point, I may look at that as well. Wyatt Johnston of the Dallas stars his shots on goal prop. If you can get a good number at either over two and a half or three and a half, I would look at that. I would also consider the Dallas
team total over three and a half. Right now that's sitting at minus 105. The cadux are extremely leaky. They've given up, I think at least four goals and 68% of their games this year. And it's been at a much higher percentage over the last 11 or 12. So Dallas team total over three and a half is another way to go. Progressive guest line brings you Jonathan Davis. Veson NHL betting analyst at West Coast hockey NHL on X and read his writeups every day over at Veson.com late night action, which I might have to bet on this one just because I need something to sweat. Canuck's going to LA to take on the Kings. Canuck's Avalanche. Colorado's a minus 175 favorite. LA's plus $1.45 total in this one's five and a half. What do we want to do here JD? All right, so the LA Kings finally fired their head coach Jim Miller. Tomorrow will be the first game with their interim head coach DJ Smith. Dustin, I think you look here familiar with this in any sport. It's the new head coach bump. So I still don't trust LA necessarily to win the game,
but I'll play LA first goal first period tomorrow. That's the way I'm going to attack it. That's the one prop that I would look at right now for Los Angeles. I'm just curious looking in the futures market. I have a ticket on the Islanders in the Eastern Conference. I'm hearing a lot of hype about Buffalo, who's still 15 to one. Do you believe the Sabers are legit contender in the East? Yes, 100%. They dismantled the Tampa Bay Lightning and Andre Vasilevsky there. They're going on Saturday night. It was five nothing before the Lightning even had a chance to breathe and they knocked Vasilevsky, not physically out of the game. The five goals took him out of the game and that was after they had played Florida the night before. They've got all the components. You know, when I look at a team that has a chance to win the Stanley Cup, you need to have elite goal tending. I believe they maybe not elite, but I would put them at very good goal tending. You need to have a Norris trophy caliber defenseman. That means a guy who can win the award for the best
defenseman. They've got at least one in Rasmus Dalline and they've got two or three overall. So yeah, I do like, I like Buffalo at 15 to one. He's Jonathan Davis, Vsyn NHL betting analyst, Read them over at Vsyn.com. When we return, two final four futures, 10 to one, 25 to one, find out who it is next. Welcome back to cash you now here on Vsyn, these sports betting network. It's cashing out on Dustin Sweetleson. You're locked into Vsyn, these sports betting network. If you missed any part of these conversations, you can always go back and download the show wherever you get your podcast. Well, at the beginning of the week, what I like to do is look at the futures market, just kind of assess where these numbers are, see how they're going to move over the course of the next few days. If there's an opportunity to get down on any of them and as we begin our edition of Dead or Live here, the first one we're going to start with is a team that I've been staring at the number and talking about, but haven't bet on. So that's a tease because it's now time to play Dead or Live. When it comes to college basketball, as of today, as of right now with the calendar moving to
March, there's very clearly a certain number of teams that you anticipate being true national title contenders. And I think a case could be made that this team, nobody is playing better basketball than them right now. And that was the story a year ago at this time, as they were also hitting their stright in route to a national championship. So I'm asking you at Dustin, Sweetleson, at Vison Live, hit me up, are the Florida Gators eight to one that ticket Dead or alive. And it's more about are you willing to stomach that you're not getting the best of the number. They're around 12, 13 to one for the last seven to 10 days. Prior to that, we could have gotten 16 to one about a month ago. Those odds of shrunk, they've been cut in half because Florida's won nine straight games, eight by double figures. And he go back and look at the schedule. This is a battle tested team, lost to Duke on the road by one, Yukon on a neutral by four, Arizona by six. Those are three one seats. So maybe there was an overreaction early on with Florida. And they didn't look like the
national championship caliber team that we expected them to, but they also had a lot in new moving parts, including the back court, Boogie Flandin from Arkansas, Xavier and Lee from Princeton. Both of them seem to be jelling, understanding how to play off of each other, both averaging 11 points per game, three to four assists per game out of the back court. You knew the front court was going to be there. Thomas Hawk, Alex Condon in the paint, really tough matchups here. And then Todd Golden, he's the X factor. This dude's an elite tactician man. Remember a year ago, they started five and four people really didn't think they'd do much and they ended up winning the title. And if you look at how this thing has been built over the course of the season, Todd Golden's doing the same thing. He doesn't have the three point shooting, right? He doesn't have a guy in his back court like Walter Clayton that can just take over shooting beyond the arc with the energy, but he's got a lot of depth. He's got a lot of talent. And they're learning how to play with each other. I trust Todd Golden to finish this finish this thing out and get to the elite eight and final four again, eight to one to win the national title. It feels like one of those bets
that if we don't place it, we're going to be like, what are we thinking? They're back in the title game. This was idiotic. Of course, we should have bet the Gators at eight to one in the month of March to win the championship. Stay with college basketball. And I might be a bit reactionary here, but I've been thinking about this team for a while. And final four odds are finally up out here in Vegas. And the Michigan State Spartans are 10 to one to reach the final four. You go through the losses on the year. Spartans lost to Duke, Nebraska, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The thing they're going to bring to the table that a lot of teams don't have other than Tom is is rebounding size. And they've got a garden fears that's scary like the kind of guy who can take over in the month of March. And we're watching one shining moment and half the highlights are him just carrying this team on his back. Jackson Kohler is going to be a mismatch. He's a 12 and nine guy 38% beyond the arc. And I think if they get the right draw with certain mid majors that don't know how to defend a guy who's that big with that type of range able to dominate underneath
and on the perimeter, plus you throw in Carson Cooper who averages seven rebounds 10 points of game. You've got veterans Cohen cars a junior averaging double figures and scoring. I just think when Tom iso has an offense, you should pencil him into the elite eight. So with that, I think 10 to one on Michigan State to make the final four is something worth betting right now. You win the first two games. You get out of that first weekend if you're sparring. You have an advantage over everyone else, not just the size, not just a garden in fears in the back court, but more importantly, you have a coach in iso who knows the week to week preparation necessary to be successful in the NCAA tournament. Because of that, you tell me Michigan State 10 to one to make the final four in elite defensive team with enough offense for iso this year. Would you bet them at 10 to one at dust and sweetle sim and at decent live. Now the other final four team, you're going to have to take some risk here. If you want to join me on it, but Texas Tech is 25 to one to make the final four. They haven't had JT top and he is their best player. He's the leading scorer and he's their
leading rebounder. They're three and oh without him. They had six players scoring double figures at Iowa State. They have the best point guard in the nation and Christian Anderson at well can score with the best of them beyond the arc. If he gets hot, forget about it. It's going to be impossible for teams to contain him. Mostly in three games without topping, 20 points, nine to 13 from the field, 20 rebounds, seven blocks and 40 minutes of action. They've had other guys step up along the way, but more importantly, when it comes to March madness, you want to focus on the coaches that you trust with your money. Grant McCastlin might be a top five coach in the nation. And if it continues to win games without JT top it here. A guy a lot of us thought could be the potential national player of the year heading into the season. I think McCastlin is a guy who can win on the margins for Texas Tech, depending on the draw when it comes to the national tournament. He's creative. He's aggressive. He lets his guys play with foul trouble. He uses his entire rotation. He gets creative with the lineups. He exposes matchups. He doesn't just throw one group of five out there.
He's willing to tinker with things. Move guys around. They've won four of seven games as underdogs outright this year. They faced Duke. They faced Houston, Arizona, Iowa State. They have four top 10 wins. That's the same amount as Michigan. The team that's number two overall and everyone's eyes heading into the tournament. I know that I don't have JT top in, but I don't hate the idea of Texas Tech at 35 to one to make the final four. Moving over to baseball. We've got two teams that I think are going to be very trendy around the same number to win their divisions. First, the Texas Rangers to win the AL West. They're plus 340. The Baltimore Orioles and the American League, American League East are plus 475. Those are two teams I'm considering betting to win their divisions. You tell me, are those tickets dead or alive? First for the Texas Rangers. Let's hear from one of their new additions, Mackenzie Gore, who joins that rotation with the Grom and a Valdi and lighter as the Rangers look for a bounce back season. Here's what Gore had to
say about his transition. Being around them has been great and you see them from a distance, especially being in the N.O. Like you see them a little bit, but you now that I'm in the same clubhouse, you're kind of really good to understand it and they're good and I understand why they've been good for so long now and I'm looking forward to just trying to keep up with them. Yeah, that kid's good, man. And I think he's going to learn a lot from DeGrom and Valdi. I think it's huge for a young guy who comes from Washington. You're kind of your own tutor, right? You're the one who has to go back and evaluate because there's just aren't a lot of veterans on the roster. Now he's going to join a team that was aggressive in the offseason. They swapped out Simeon for NIMO, which is going to help the top of the order because he's on base machine. I think Wyatt Langford is going to have an MVP caliber season out of that two hole. I mean, he went 2020 last year. I don't think 25 30 or even 30 30s out of the question for him. You need Cory Seager to stay healthy. You need Jake Berger to be healthy and Evan Carter and center field when he plays. They win baseball games, but the key to this entire season is the two guys that are going to mentor Mackenzie
Gore. Jacob DeGrom through a ton of innings last year. He's getting up there in age in his high 30s. Nate of Valdi had a short season last year, even though he was tremendous with a really good ERA sub two in the limited starts that he made. Those guys need to be available. I do like the Rangers as a long shot to win the West at plus 340 because I'm looking at that that division. And while I was really high last year on the Seattle Mariners, the fact of the matter is I'm still questioning the offense for them. I want to see what the punch looks like for them. I think it should still be good, but I want to see it a second time around. And then I think Texas is going to be better than Houston. So I like them a lot. The other team is the Baltimore Orioles at plus 475. I already confessed my love for them for the last few weeks, but they're young. They have a core that's been together for years. The pitching improved a lot. They're going to be deeper. And I know their division is a lot tougher because you have the Yankees and the Blue Jays off a World Series. And the Red Sox are a legit contender to win the American League. I still like
Baltimore, man. I and this young group playing together. The chemistry is going to matter. But more importantly, the pitching is going to be legit. They get Kyle Bradish back 30 to one for Sai Young. He's going to be a guy that a lot of people are on Trevor Rogers in the second half was a revelation for the Orioles. You add Shane Bosch who's not going to be pitching in Steinbrenner field where everyone got lit up because of the alleyways were so short out there in the outfield. Also with this rotation, you add Chris Bassett of veteran who's been through it all. Peter Lonzo comes in. The walls are coming in and left center field. I love Baltimore plus 475 to win the East. I love them to win the American League as well. Why don't remind you we got a great deal over at Vecin.com for just $2,999. You get access through May 1st. Thanks for making us part of your night. However, you may be tuning in. Sirius XM channel 158 YouTube TV, the vsiwatch app and radio affiliates across the United States of God bless America. We had a fun show, man. If you missed any part of it, whether it was the conversation with Nick Whalen and hour number one, as far as the NBA and the Denver Nuggets, with a losing record. Well, Nicola Yokish has returned from injury. Get his thoughts on that. If you download hour number one of the podcasts, hour number two, we broke down everything coming out of the combine in the NFL, including potential destinations for Jeremiah Love in the draft, Ryan McIntyre, tremendous on college basketball, that hour as well. In hour number three, Jonathan Davis broke down the NHL Monday card of action. We played a little dead or alive in our last segment, including a couple of final four bets that I'm going to add when the show is
over. And that's where we're going to begin with our vsin morning bet segment in the futures market. As I added a couple yesterday, and I'm going to add a few more today, hoping I can get one of these long shots in and then one one number short on the board on a team that I think is being totally disrespected. First, the short number, the Houston Cougars are plus 225 to make the final four. And I think a lot of it is being held against this team. The schedule that they just went on. It's the big 12. It's the big 12 shout out to Dan Hawkins. The Houston Cougars just happened to get hit with the hardest part of their schedule at the worst time late in the year. You can get them 10 to one to win the title. I don't know if they're capable of winning the title. I just know that Calvin Samson's the type of coach when March comes around because of the defense, the physicality is team plays with. I trust them to get to around the elite eight. So maybe I could hedge off this plus 225 ticket, but they faced at they went at Iowa State. They hosted Arizona and they went to Kansas back to back to back here in late February. They're going to
finish their season now after beating Colorado with Baylor and Oklahoma State. They should be able to lick their wounds, get things going back in the right direction. I like Houston at plus 225. Another team I'm going to bet to make the final four here is Michigan State at 10 to one. I just think they're going to be a mismatch for a lot of teams with Colors ability to dominate the glass and shoot from the outside. Fears is fearless as a guard and just feels like a guy could take over and iso and March January, February iso. This is what he does this time of year. Their defense is elite and because defense matters to me so much in the tournament, give me Michigan State 10 to one to make the final four and then two long shots out of the big 12. Texas Tech is 25 to one. Grant McCaslin is a great coach. I believe he wins on the margins. And I think without JT Topin, this team showing you what they're made of. They have the best point guard in the country in Anderson. They have an elite two garden at well who can shoot it beyond the arc. If he gets hot, he can carry this team as far as they need to go. Give me Texas Tech 25 to one and this is a real long shot. I'm kind of obsessed with central Florida and
Johnny Dawkins, not just because of what they did to BYU last week, but they can shoot the basketball. They have an offense and if you look at the schedule, when they've had to step up and play really tough teams, they have been ultra competitive. If there are teams in their path that are not as battle tested specifically, not from the big 12 or the big 10. I think UCF with the right draw can make a run here. I'm betting 100 to one, not because they make the final four, but if they can get to the sweet 16 elite eight, that's a ticket I can hedge against at such a monster number. So those are the final four bets that I'm going to add today after the show. With that, let's look at the Monday card in college basketball as we'll begin with Duke taking on NC State. This one has a number right now of nine and a half. Duke is favored on the road. I just want to get the updated number here. Make sure I have it as my screen just went away. Come on. Click. Oh my god. You're killing me. All right. Let me just go to the page on draft games. Duke lane nine and a half total 149 and a half. So a slight move up on the total
from 148 in a hook. Duke enters this game on a six game winning streak. They beat beat Virginia by 26 on Saturday. There are two losses. Texas Tech on a neutral North Carolina on February 7. That matters here. This is a look ahead spot for Duke. They have North Carolina after NC State to close out the season. The wolf pack of lost four of five. Their only win is in that span, verse North Carolina, who Duke lost to just a few weeks ago. Duke is elite defensively, the best in the country. The defense generates the offense, but the offense is just fine as well. History of this meeting between these two ACC teams. NC State's five and one against the spread last six 11 and five covering the number since 2016 against the blue Devils. The under is on a five and one run recently, but 10 and six to the over if we go all the way back to 2016. John Shire seven and four covering the number nine and two to the under as a road favorite of six and a half to 12. We'll wait only one and three against the spread as an underdog with NC State.
I lean under the 149 and a half and I'm going to regret this. Well, I swore off betting NC State. I'm back. I'm taking the nine and a half. Let's take the wolf pack in a potential look ahead spot for Duke, even though there's a chance they are look ahead proof because Shire is that dialed in as a coach. I just think I'm principle with so many of these situational spots coming home the last like seven to 10 days in college basketball. Unprincipal. I got to take NC State. Iowa State is going to Arizona and the cyclones come into this losers of two of three. They're often nine point home lost to Texas Tech, but really it wasn't that close. They got smoked by the red raiders without JT Toppen. Arizona's riding high four game win streak beat BYU Houston, Baylor and Kansas. They just took care of the J Hawks by 23 points at home over the weekend. I am going to take Iowa State. I'm taking the seven and a half. This is a bounce back. Perhaps Texas Tech was a look ahead for the cyclones at home. Think it about Arizona coming up on the
schedule and they just didn't take the red raiders seriously because they didn't have JT Toppen. TJ Ozzelberger under seems to be the way to go with him in this spot on the road. He's five and two to the under as a road dog of six and a half to 1219 and seven to the under in March with Iowa State 31 and 29 to the under on the road. He is 13 and three against the spread often upset conference loss as a favorite Tommy Lloyd eight and five against the spread seven and six to the under as a home favorite of six and a half to 12 16 and five covering the number 14 and seven to the over at home when the total is in the one 40s for the Arizona head coach, but I'm taking Iowa State plus seven and a half. I might regret both of those bets, but I'm on both dogs in terms of those games. Let's kick it over to the NBA where I do have a bunch of player props that I placed last break. So let's begin with the Celtics and the box Boston's laying seven and a half on the road totals two 14 and a half Joe Mozilla 33 and 28 against the spread 32 and 29 to the over
as a road favorite of six and a half to 12 61 and 45 to the under playing a second game in five days. Doc Rivers just three and five against the spread but five and three to the over as a home dog of six and a half to 12 in this matchup. I'm going with AJ Green under 11 and a half points and rebounds for the box. Boston allows the third fewest points to small forwards against Boston back on February 1st. He played 29 minutes. He had three points and he had two rebounds in that game and he's averaging just 6.6 points per game over his last five. Give me the under on AJ Green 11 and a half points and rebounds. You've got the Clippers go to the Warriors. This is the late night game where the Clipper laying one and a half on a back to back totals 2 19 and a hook here. A couple of bets I like. I'm going Moses Moody under 18 and a half points rebounds and assists. Clippers allow the seventh fewest points, third fewest rebounds, ninth fewest assists to small forwards. Verse the Clippers in just 19 minutes in January 5th. He had four two and one in 22 minutes. He had
nine three and two back on October 28th. I think his numbers might be a little bit inflated because he has been hot lately. I think this might be a spot to fade him against the Clippers team that is good to put in the clamps down on guys on the perimeter, specifically at small forward. And over I like in this game is Chris Dunn. We're going to go over on his 16 and a half points rebounds and assists. Taken on a team in Golden State that allows the fourth most points per game to opposing point cards more importantly in the action on Sunday. Chris Dunn only played 22 minutes of action. He had nine four and three in that game for the Clippers back on January 5th against Golden State. Dunn had 16, three and six and 33 minutes against the Warriors in 26 minutes on October 28th. He had five and four. Anticipate Chris Dunn to have a pretty solid game against Golden State. So let's go over 16, three and six or some sorry over 16 and a half PRA and judging more on the 16, three and 60 had on January 5th and hope that Kauai Leonard on the second half
of back to back does not play in this game because then we will end up getting a pretty good number. I imagine this will go up a pointer to once that news happens. I don't have inside information. I'm just speculating it's a second half of the back to back and that is what he does. Finally, the last game we're going to look at the nuggets going to the jazz. They're coming off a loss a back to back where they lost a Minnesota on Sunday. David Adelman 19 and five as to the over as a road favorite six and two against the spread six and two to the over as a road favorite of six and a half to 12. Nuggets have already been better minus 10 and a half up to 11 and a half. I wouldn't go over 243 and a half though because Utah doesn't want to win. Because of that, I'm going to go under 23 and a half PRA on Kyle Filippowski taking on this front court for Denver that I think's going to be able to limit him. Nuggets allow the fifth fewest rebounds per game, sixth fewest assists per game to centers. And I'm not sure he's going to play a lot in the fourth quarter. So we're going to go under 23 and a half PRA for Kyle Filippowski there. All of more bets throughout the day as player props become available in all of these matchups and some of
the numbers move and we have information in terms of who is in and who is out with the injuries. And Veson's got you covered all day with all of that. Stay with us all day long as it gets started at 70m Eastern with Veson by the books. Dave and Jensen have you covered. They handed off to Gillian Kelly on a numbers game and then he got prop points with Nick and Jeff at 1pm Eastern. I'm Dustin Sweetleson. I'll see you next time on Veson.
