Cashier Steals Vacation Funds from Vulnerable Customers

0:00On April 18th, a nationwide cashier in Wales got exposed for stealing thousands from vulnerable customers to fund her dream vacations. Kelly Kershaw worked at the Karen Arfon brands for 18 years and seemed like solid staff, but she admitted to five counts of fraud between 20. 23 and 2024. Colleagues caught on quick when her social media lit up with picks of sailing, skiing, African safaris, trips to Paris, Tuscany, Greek islands, Mexico. Norway and the Caribbean. They figured she was living way beyond her paycheck on all those lucks getaways. Her victims were some of the most fragile folks at the bank, a 49-year-old man with learning difficulties, an 85-year-old stroke, survivor and a few pensioners. She forged signatures and pulled cash without permission, straight betraying their trust. Prosecutors called it out, and nationwide stepped up with 8,630 pounds in compensation.
