0:00From the Daily News Now Network, this is Corey, with Entertainment and Celebrity News today. Candace Bergen turns 80 on May 9th, and the five-time Emmy winner opened up about not quite accepting her age yet. She says it does not feel any different inside, just the same as always. She explained that the main change is needing to move more carefully now. Walking slower and watching steps off curbs has become a big deal to avoid falls. Bergen compared it to her father, the famous ventriloquist Edgar Bergen, who died at 75. Back then, she thought that was a full life. But at 79, she sees plenty more head. She wants to be around for her grandson's high school graduation, and hopefully, her granddaughter's too. That goal keeps her motivated to stay active. She works out five days a week with a long-time trainer at her building's gym. The sessions focus on keeping joints loose and blood flowing, with very little cardio. She jokes that it's all about staying alive long enough to keep moving. The Daily News Now is presented by our sponsor.
