26The season's almost over. I think I speak for every Warriors fan when I say, thank God. What a... I mean, it is what it is. They've got nine games left now. They're going to be the next nine no matter what. Did you see that video of Steve Kerr when they congratulated him on making the plan? We'll click him on the... Okay, all right. That was... All right. Well, I got a good laugh out of that. Funniest things I've seen in the weeks. I mean, it might have been one of the more entertaining Warriors related things I've seen in the weeks. I think I don't know what Steve... Steve was legitimately mad, which I thought was hilarious, because I thought he was kind of joking. You know that Chris Paul meme, where he's like, actually... Yeah. Chris Paul meme was talking to Steve Kerr, actually, wrong. But you just kind of think he's joking. Honestly, he's not... Shout out to TisDiamonds, who deserves that type of reaction from Steve Kerr. I'll tell you that. Steve looked like he was about to fight someone. He looked like an MJ... MJ Steve Kerr moment. That was... Oh, man.

26That was great. I think Steve's had... Steve's had a hell of a season, man. It's one of those seasons where... Because Steve, obviously, he's coaching. He's not going to get injured in this season. He's just been the guy there. You know what I mean? Like, if you're a Jimmy, you're a hurt, you skip out. Even Dremon, you kind of skip out. You just steps been out for quite a while now. But Steve's just been there. And you're wearing the ups and downs every day. It's funny for you and I. If someone was like, Hey, you know, let yours guys congrats on the season. I'm making a plan. We laugh. But if you're Steve Kerr, you're dealing with that shit every day. I don't think anything's funny. Nothing. Nothing is funny. If you're dealing with this... And it's been... It's been like a very emotional season. Like, when you think about it, things were looking pretty good in January. Like, they were turning a corner. They were 27 and 20. About to hit a soft spot of the season. Jimmy and Staff had finally kicked it into gear. They felt like they had found a rotation. I thought they were on their path to get to 50 wins. It's just what I had them pegged at. Then the Jimmy injury happens.

26You know, and I remember actually, before that, I was like, you know what? This team is like, they just need to get a nice, like, impact rotation player. They don't need to star. They just need another good player. And then I'm ready to ride with Staff and Jimmy. And you know, if they're too old, they're too old. But like, I like my chances in the playoffs with that, right? That's kind of where my head was. Of course, Jimmy gets hurt. And Staff gets hurt. And, you know, now Moses Moody. And I didn't really think the Moody injury would affect me personally the way it did. But I've been just kind of like, distraught in a few different ways. One for him. Like of all the young guys, I don't think anyone's kind of shown more maturity and done it the right way than Moses Moody. Like he's got the short end of the straw for a few years now. And he finally was breaking through

27and he was actually a very important part of this team. You could see a world where all right, the only blessing from the Jimmy injury was it gave Moody the space to truly establish himself. You know, that was like really the only blessing, right? He like obviously geese the other one. Geese been kind of the story of the season. But I feel like for Moses, you're really seeing him become the player we always thought he could be that three and D wing who really you feel among both ends of the four. He has a star, but every team needs a handful of those round their stars, right? And for him to get the injury he got off of his own contact and quite frankly, it's like the worst injury in basketball. I think I think we all agree. It's worse than the Achilles in the ACL. I just can't think of a player who's had the Patela rupture and come back the same. Like the last one I think it was all a deep one.

27He was never the same. Kalena obviously. It's just the whole thing sucks because of how young he is, how hard he worked the right way. And like the situation it puts the warriors in. It's just another piece to push them farther away. Man, it's had me really, really down. I didn't realize that the injury was that catastrophic, which I knew he was going to be out for the season next season. But I didn't realize how bad just career wise. You mentioned Kalena Zabuki, who by the way, he immediately knew, because obviously happened to him and he was trying to, I tried to pretend. I did that where I'm like, well, you know, it can't be that. Hopefully it's not that, you know. Jeremy Lynn had it. Another one his career ended, his NBA career ended because he was done being an impact guy.

27Yes, clear after that injury. And people are like, oh, Lynn said anything and all that. You got to remember, like he actually got a contract. It was all over for him. Sam, you're making me more depressed. I think that the normal turning out of that. I just thought, no, I just, look, we're not going to see him for a while. And maybe the, maybe the silver lining is that, um, he's young. The silver lining is, is he's not 28 years old. Because I do think if he was 28, 29, 30 years old, it's over for him. So maybe knock on wood. Hopefully I have no idea. Yeah. We just, we just got to hope because he's 23 that, that maybe he's going to be okay when he's 25. Um, but that is, and you're, and you're right. Like medical advances. The Achilles used to be like a career ender now. I mean, look at him, dude. You know, um, so you're right. I mean, I, I don't want to say he can't recover from it because the guys we listed were around 30. You know, all the deep, I think was 28. It's a long time ago. A long time ago. A long time ago now. Decade. Been about decade.

27Not even a little less. But yeah. Um, Klanau obviously was around 30 and he was, you know, 18 years ago at this point or something, in that range, you know? So it's like, there is, reason to believe that it's not what it used to be. But if you just the average recovery time is over 12 months, and it happened March 23rd. So he's basically, he's missing all of next year. You know? He's missing all of next year in all likelihood. And I'm not even getting into the team stuff, I just feel bad for him, you know, and it's like he was, it's, couldn't, now, I know, you don't wish that at anybody, but when it happens to someone like him or like one of those guys who just like the consummate pro do things the right way, you're just like, guys, it's cool. I didn't, I didn't tweet it out, it's really cool. I didn't want to say it publicly, but I guess we're doing a podcast, but I did feel like

27man, it just couldn't have happened to a worse person, like I don't know how to phrase it, but I think you know what I'm saying, like it's just all the people forward to happen to, like, why would, why, why did it have to be this guy who has just been the consummate professional? And now to push the flip it the other way around, it's like, if there is a person that can get through this, I think mentally it is probably Moses Moody, like it is probably this guy that can like, guy who thinks like, who's wired like that. Yeah, I think so because he's been the guy where I, you mentioned it earlier, but just to get more specific, like he's the guy that just never got to play because he was never the guy that was going to win the politics, like he was never going to be Joe Jacobs guy. He was never going to be a guy where like the front office or the owner is going to just give him extra chances for no reason, like he would have to scratch and claw, no matter what in his career, even though he was a lottery pick, by the way, 14th overall pick, but he was just, because he was not athletic and he was not a, not a, not a top pick,

28like the war, he was just never given opportunities. He was always, he always had to earn him and, as I say that, I feel more bad for him, but it just feels like that type of mindset is, if someone's going to get through this shit, it's, it's got to, it's got to be him, it has to be, he's got the right mindset. It's just, you know, yeah, all that's true, but the second part of it's the part that really has me in a negative space. You know me, I'm always, I don't want to say I'm an off. Big thanks to our sponsor, BetterHelp for partnering with us for this important conversation about mental health. This Steve Smith here, former NFL Y receiver and host of the 89 show on YouTube. So having a counselor and working with BetterHelp, that gives you an opportunity to really start to unpack, but people don't understand when you unpack things, you also open up a box that you're not always sure what's inside. And so I think that's why seeing a professional is extremely important. If you need someone to open up to visit BetterHelp, that's better, H-E-L-P dot com slash 89

34to get started. This year, Perfector Morning routine with Nespresso Virtua Up. Now it's easier than ever to brew coffee with smooth flavor and rich crema over ice or milk. It's your coffee your way at the cook of a button, sit for yourself at shop virtual www.nespresso.com. I miss, but I'm always of the belief that like next trade deadline, next summer, they have an opportunity to fix this thing, you know, I don't really get too down on them. I get, maybe it's the hope, you know, no, it's definitely the hope, you know, I'll be honest to you, but it's like, you know, I always believe that like even at the beginning of the season, you were more pessimistic on this team than I was. I was like, no, they're going to be fine, they just need to get to the trade deadline and flip Kuminga and a pick for like another wing. And I kind of like what they have with Melton, I like what they have with, with Horford, I like what they have with Moody and Pods developing. And you know, obviously I believe in staff more than, or as much as anyone, because I more than anyone who listens to this show, but I believe in him as much as anyone.

35And then obviously, I believe in Jimmy. So I was always kind of the mindset of, well, let's just get to the playoffs healthy, which obviously did not happen. With this Moses injury on the back of the Jimmy injury, and just when I look at the state of the roster, now I'm like, this is like the first time during this run, I'm really grappling with the idea that like, they might just be, they might just be fucked. There's no real pathway this off season to get them back in the mix before a step or tires. That's kind of, that's kind of what's been going through my head since Monday, or not since, since we got confirmation of what Moses, Moses injury was, because obviously we got lucky and it was just a sprain that was going to keep him out for three months based back next year. I would be like, oh, well, better than, you know, oh, well, he missed his 10 games. Who cares? You know, type of thing. But now that we know, this is what puts you over the edge, this is, it's like, there's

35like kind of an irony to it because like, it's the guy who is always like the 11th man and a 10 man rotation, you know what I mean? Like it's always a guy who just couldn't get in the rotation. You know, it wasn't Jimmy gang hurt. It wasn't clay getting hurt. It wasn't a bunch of these other things that have happened over the course of time. It was this one. This is the fine. This is the straw for me. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Negative headspace. Yeah. I think it's both. It's a little in the negative headspace, but I can't, I also kind of can't get a tentative group with you. I'm trying to. Like, I, you feel like if, because what you're saying, what you're framing as is like, how far can the team go potentially, can they win a championship? They can't just lose a guy like this $13 million, like even if they want to trade him, they're not training him for anything that matters, unless you're putting multiple picks in. But like, does that really help them? And also, they're not going to do that. So you, you go back. But it's also, it's like the, it's like the thing that if they attach picks to Moses is contract, then they have less picks to attach to Jimmy's contract, and then they

38have no. Jimmy's not can trade. Yeah. You got it. You got it. Just Jimmy's not going to, he's going to be on the team. He's going to be on the, they are going to sell his return. I'm not saying he's right or wrong. Not rooting for one or the other in there. Let's be on the team. It's not that I disagree with you because they've shown me nothing that indicates that they can be ultra creative. It's this idea that to get, to put a contender around Steph, one, he needs a co-star, and quite frankly, probably a younger co-star to carry him half the season. So he's not dying like this. Not in the sense of carry him like he can't play, but like, look at what LeBron has in LA. LeBron looks phenomenal right now. I don't even know if LeBron played the first half of the season, you know? I don't really remember seeing him, but hey, you could get away with that when you have two guys in there. One is who play like all, you know what I'm saying? So like, you want a younger star around number 30, just so he doesn't have to play off

39basketball in November. And to be fair, you made that point. I just thought him and Jimmy could probably put it together long enough. Then, now you got to replace Moses. You probably needed to get another wing, even with Moses. You got to find a way to keep Melton. You got to find a way to keep Pursingus. You have no cap space. I mean, it's just kind of like one of those, and you don't have that many picks. I'm going to be honest with you. They are stingy with their picks, which is kind of off-putting, where you're just like dude, you're being so precious with this, like, it's annoying. But also, they're not the thunder with 50 picks, you know what I mean? Like, they can only make so many trades with what they have, because none of their young players have value. Moses was playing himself up to a point where you could get a first round pick for him to then use to get something else. No more pods. You get a pick for pods, highly unlikely, given that he's right about to ask for a ton

43of money. And it's one thing if he's cheap and young, it's another, if he's on the verge of a contract extension, you know? Can you get a pick for Quentin Post and Will Richard? No, they were late second round fine. Like, I'm just sitting here, and then you go to the vets, like, Dremon may be washed, you may be right, Dremon may be washed, the hell are you going to get for him? You know? Like, I just keep going down the line on this stuff, and I was just like, sheesh. So you're probably right. They're probably just going to fray that Jimmy exceeds science, because that's all they got. I don't even know why I'm laughing at some sort of thing. You late. You live. Yeah, I don't feel like stiny, say that in front of Steve, I ain't funny. I don't, I can't, I mean, when you lay it down like that, there really is, it looked, all these things were true before the Moses Moody injury happened. I get, though, that now that this, this injury has happened, it does push everything outside to light to a point where it's like, man, like you can't actually even have hope

45because of how much it, it's just they're in such a bind. I think the only way to get out of it is to make a big, big gamble, and we just, we know they're not going to do that. Like a big gamble where shit actually, because trading for Jimmy, but it wasn't a gamble, right? Like that isn't a gamble. Trading, trying to trade for Yannis isn't a gamble. None of that stuff is, because of it fails, like Jimmy tearing his ACL, like you kind of don't feel that like it's, like nobody said the truth, like you gave Miami what? The 19th pick in last year's draft. It's already passed. It's not like you're, it's not like you have like three picks in the future, and you're like, oh, we traded for a guy, he's injured, he's never going to play again, and they have all our future picks. Like, a real gamble is like, that's, I agree, a real gamble is like, hey, you call up New Orleans and say, we're going to take trade Murphy, and we're going to take Zion because we know nobody fucking one Zion, and we're going to trade for Pixar, trade Murphy, but we'll eat that Zion contract back, but it's because that's a big time talent. And all of sudden, Zion's a big time part of your future, but look at that, below the

48hell up, below the hell up in a month. Celebrity, I mean, hey, you, you hear Porosongus with Celebrity? You hear what he said today, where he's just like, oh, it's guys, it's guys the best. So I don't know, maybe Celebrity cured, it's, it's Celebrity Nutritionist, cause I, I didn't, I don't know, he, I don't know, he was a disease doctor, but maybe, maybe, I mean, that's like, that's probably our best hope. The best hope with the warriors is Rick Celebrity fixes something that you know has talent inside of it, but the body isn't working, right? You know, that's like literally the only thing they've done while recently, that, that, because that, that is all they can do is take those big ass gambles, because what you, what you have left now is they are stuck, they are stuck unless, unless they get some type of Adam Silver handout, which by the way, you mentioned the Lakers as, as, as a comparison for LeBron, I hate that one, just because LeBron and the Lakers got handed, Luca, and it's just like, they, they're fun off as did you shit.

48So it's like, so it's like, they didn't really do anything. I'm sure the warriors, if they got handed a top for, whoever in the top four is that you like, I don't know any of them, but if they're handed one of those guys, they're ain't trained that they're using it, and maybe that guy is the guy, right? Like, so, so, so maybe that's, maybe that's it, I don't know. I am 100% confident if they get one of the top three picks, they're at least get, they won't bust. There is a very real chance though, when I look at the top of this draft, we might be talking about guys who like, peak is third, second or third options, like on title teams, you know what I'm saying? Not to get into it. Not to get into it too much, but it's like one of those things now, Sam, five, five pick, high player, five player. So just got to get the top five. Yeah, what I was going to say though is like, I mean, you could, you could just totally see a world where it's like, they, people love this draft because you watch these players and you're like, look, I know that guy can play. I know like, I was going to be good, but you know how it goes to the NBA, like, half of the Cam Boozard comps are like, always like Kevin love, but with more, a little more

48defense. It's like Kevin love was great. Kevin love was a multi time all star. On a championship team, he was a third option, you know what I mean? So, and, and I'm not saying that's, that's, that's a, that's a great outcome. That guy was like an eight time all star. He was a phenomenal player for a long time, but like the gap between your top three pick, being deaf curry or forget stuff, the stuff's Mount Rushmore, being a guy who can be a legitimate between it being an all star and an actual, I can build a contender around him guy. Like, that's still a pretty big gap, you know, and that's a, that's not an easy one. Like, you just don't know, you know what I mean? Like, you, I would be surprised if like Peterson or Diamonza or Boozard bust. I would not be surprised if they all peak is like, you know, guys whose best situation is one of the number two or the number three on a contender. You know, there's, there's such a gap between those guys.

Guys and like, Shay, you know, those guys and like, you know, even like Tyrus Maxi is

58a name I want to, like Tyrus Maxi is a really good basketball player, but he'll never be Shay, like ever be close to Shay. And clear all star clear all star, but yeah, you're right. He's probably a second or third option on a team with real, real title aspirations. But if the Warriors are Tyrus Maxi, even post stuff, if they are Tyrus Maxi, I mean, at least we can, you know what I mean? Like I'd be pretty damn happy and good player, good player, better than a knock-in player. So, you know, I'm saying they, I don't know who they would draft. I just, I bring that up because, you know, I just, you're right, though. I mean, Maxi is an excellent player, great mid-round pick. But there is a big gap between the disguise and all star and like, actually, this guy is good enough to be one of the five or six guys he built a contender around, you know? Like, there's a big gap between, it's a big gap between Treyong and James Harden, you know, like that type of thing, right? And we make fun of both and, and James Harden is 50 times better than, than, than we make fun of Trey Harden and James Harden, and James Harden is, yep, he's awesome.

59Harden and his peak was good enough to be the best player to contender. They couldn't get it done, probably some mental stuff there. Probably some mental stuff there, but like, for five years, they were the biggest contender against the Warriors. They were close. They were about as close as you could get without getting it done, you know? Whereas, you know, Treyong will probably make 10 all star teams. I don't think he's ever going to get close to a title, you know? I mean, James Harden, James Harden is one of the greatest, I mean, he'll end up being what? Top 30, 40 player of all time? I don't know. He's MVP. Like, he has an MVP. Like that's what he's top 25 today. You can't, you can't tell me like, yeah, you can't tell, like, you can't tell me guys, like Charles Barkley and Carl Malone are better than him. It's a guy, similar career, like those guys were dominant in their era, but just couldn't get over the hump, you know? And people call them top 20, top 25. James Harden's on the, James Harden might end up, he might retire as the best player to never win a title. I don't know.

00I'd have to think about it a little harder, but like, he's pushing that list of this era, he's undoubtedly the best player to not win a title, right? Like, Steph LeBron, Katie. Yeah, no, it's, it's, is there a, like, is he not the best player behind those guys? I feel like I'm forgetting someone very obvious, it's going to drive me insane. I'm, I, that's why he's better, like he's better than Carmelo Anthony. Yeah, yeah. He's better than Dwight Howard, although Dwight is right. Uh, well, you're right, actually, I'm trying to, I'm, I'm thinking of players. I feel like there's one person we're missing, but maybe for sure, we're missing someone and I'm going to be really annoyed when someone calls me out on it, but whatever, it's not right. James Harden, the warriors would be so lucky if they could find someone like James Harden, uh, here in the next couple of drafts, I would tell, I would tell you that, like, to me that always feels like a difference is that, like, people always talk about how Damien Lillard, like, how great he is, by the way, another guy who hasn't won a ring, how great

02he is, um, as a player and like, oh, he's kind of like, Steph, kind of like, Steph, it's like, man, have you, like, to me, MVP standings always have mattered because just look at where Damien Lillard has been, he's not ever actually been close to me, MVP, but the size of the point, we go back to talking, we got to talk about Guy, and we got to talk about Steph as well as he makes, hopefully, his return before we do that, to let your podcast, we are brought to you by PricePix, PricePix makes every dunk, every dime, every board that much more exciting. So do not miss this chance to get started on America's number one app for SportsPix. Um, we've obviously got Marshmattness coming up. It's happening right now. Thursday, Friday, and then we've got the Elite 8 and then we've got Final 4 next week. Sam, have you gotten any surprises, any, any, like, any players that you've loved watching here and they're like, not many upsets I didn't see last week. So nothing too crazy yet. Yeah. I mean, everyone's just talking about how NIL ruined the upset, whatever. Uh, ultimately, everyone likes, pretends they like upsets, but she actually want to see the big dogs playing on the Final 4, you know, this would be honest.

04You want to see, you want to see like a Florida Houston, like last year or stuff like that. Um, uh, the guy in Michigan, Yaxel, Lundberg, okay, love him. He's in the Warriors range. He's definitely worth checking out. Um, that's been the one. I mean, I feel like every Warriors fan has been saying, I gotta get this guy, I gotta get this guy. That's like, yeah, Dominican Lebron, he's not, that was a hilarious, that was a hilarious teammate quote, because there's just no comeback from that. Dominic in Lebron is absolutely amazing. That's thrivemarket.com, slash light ears for 30% off your first order plus a free 60 dollar gift, free money dude, free groceries, who doesn't want free groceries? You want to know how dark I've gotten with the Moses Moody stuff? It's like the first time I've legitimately been like we should consider trading stuff if he wants to move. I feel like I'm going through a break up here, listen to emo music, I'm like Michael Scott, listen to James Blanc on repeat, but you know, the sample, I'm not buying the whole song. It's just kind of like, as I think about it, and let me put it this way, I always wanted Steph to retire a warrior, it means something to me, I'm sentimental like that.

11I really want to see him be the first guy who does like of this era to do it. But when I'm looking at the warriors, I'm like, dude, it's going to be 39 next season. I don't see them doing anything this off season, and it's just going to be a repeat of this. He's going to get worn down and injured. I almost want to give him the Tom Brady treatment, like if you really love something, set it free, that's like, that's like how dark a headspace I'm in right now. I just want you to know that. It doesn't get, by the way, it doesn't get any worse than that. I vehemently disagree because here's a thing. If Brady didn't win a championship somewhere, do you think that anybody would ever remember him playing for the Bucks? The same goes with Joe Montana, and he didn't win anywhere, and he went to Kansas City. He did get it. I do remember the AFC Championship run with the Chiefs.

15The thing is, if this era of the warriors, two more seasons left for Steph, three more seasons left, when we get older, I think people do not remember the last couple of seasons at all. We'll remember that it was like, damn, it sucked, it sucked, it sucked, but they won four. We remember that. I don't want us Sam to grow up, and what we have to say to our kids is, yeah, man, Steph was to go. He was the best player, but he also won a championship, so when you say Tom Brady, that's what I think about. It's like, Steph isn't a sick part of you want that, just to rub it in Joe's fucking face a little bit. It's a great question, but I don't know if I can get sold on that. I don't know. What if he ends up in, I don't know. I mean, ends up in San Antonio, they're going to wind up, and that part, it doesn't lessen

16what he does for the Warriors, it just hurts, it does hurt though, because it does hurt to where it's like, man, like his identity is it with just the Warriors anymore? And I think fortunately, he feels the same way, so I don't think he would ever do it. But I think that does, if nothing ever happens right now for the next three years, we don't remember it. If Steph goes somewhere else and something does happen, we always remember that. I think we will always remember Brady winning one with Tampa, always, always, always. It hurts too much to think of him winning one in Charlotte or something like that, that's when you manage procurement for multiple facilities, every order matters. Rosetta Stone breaks down your new language into bite-sized pieces and focuses on speaking practice or real conversations. Rosetta Stone's true accent feature even helps you perfect your pronunciation. I mean, pronunciation. Rosetta Stone.com today, Rosetta Stone, how languages learned. It's also depressing if he does go somewhere else and it doesn't work. That is kind of like, yeah, it's like the MJ and Jay went to Washington. But the difference with MJ is he retired for like a year and a half, two years, and when he came back, he was washed. Stuff's not washed. Wizard's MJ was not good, not good at all, I'll put it down with you. It was like, it was impressive that a guy could miss that much time and be 40 and still like

16score 20, but it was like, he was not MJ anymore, you know what I'm saying? I think I just, I really don't want to see Steph. I really don't want to see them strike out over the summer and Steph be on a team that's sealing as the plan. I really don't want to see, he doesn't deserve it. Like I don't want him pulling his hammy in Minnesota to be his last playoff memory. You know what I'm saying? Like, we always, he always talks about meaningful basketball. I just want to, I just want to see the guy have a shot, you know, and I'm now reached the point where I'm like, if that shot somewhere else, I'm willing to let it happen. I don't know. I just, I have so little faith that the front office can pull rabbit out of their hat and I'm reaching a point where I'm just like, you know what? It's just not fair to Steph. So I think if that's something that he wants, which by the way, I don't think whatever happened, but I think if that's something that he wants and he came out and he said that, I think I would be rooting for that.

17I would very much be rooting for that, but I think if it's something that, if it's something where the front office is kind of like, all right, like I think it's time to pivot and it's like, maybe it's the right move, but fuck you guys meet to the front office. Then I would be like, no, absolutely not. I would, you know, I mean, but they would never do that either because think about the PR hit that they would get if they were like, all right, well, we can trade stuff for picks. Someone we can kind of restart everything and that might be the best move, like that actually might be the best move, but just you, but you can't do that. You just, it is the, they'll most, if you take all emotion out of it, it is the easiest way to get the Warriors back on track. Yep. But that's not how it works. You know, you don't, you don't get them out, rush more player. Every generation, you're probably never going to get another one of my life. You might win another title in my lifetime. I will be shocked if you have a player who ever matters as much as Steph Curry does. You know what I mean? Oh, that's, that's true. That's absolutely. And to be honest, you also may never just win another title in my lifetime, but I'll

18tell you this right now, the odds you're going to have a guy who does it the way Steph did that changes the game that makes you a glow, like makes people revere you globally, highly unlikely. No, because look at, because look at the, the great teams that are happening right now, like that thunder don't matter outside of, like maybe three states in America. And the Warriors mattered in multiple countries in the world. Like, there's a fucking difference. I mean, even Denver and Nicola Yokich might end up being a better player. It doesn't matter outside of Serbia and like some places in America, like nobody knows who the fuck that guy is. And so like, that's the difference. They would be a complete laughing stuff to death. So no, they wouldn't do that. I mean, Dallas didn't even do that with dirt, right? And the Lakers kept paying Kobe until until it ended so no difference. I keep going back to this. The difference is Kobe was washed, washed, you know, like if Steph was the season, man, like I just, yeah, but why is he not going to play half, why is he not going to play half the season because he's a small guard and the injuries finally will kept like because

23they need him to average 30 to win games. He's he's breaking that like at some point, he's not LeBron in that he is not six 10 and just like built to play football, like that, that's, but don't you think he would age, don't you think he'd play 65 games, 70 games? If he had a young co star to be like, maybe that, you know, be like the bell cal back. Go get him a Christian McCaffrey. Get him someone who can get 400 touches, you know, Christian McCaffrey actually should be the other way around. He's the one. Yeah. I don't know how he did that. I will not be touching him in fantasy this year, but I agree with you. We don't know that, but you know I agree with you, I just, but regardless of that being the case, it's just moving forward. I don't know how much he has left it now because of runners, he's been out for months. Run is the runner. What is that? That's a break. That's a break down advantage. You believe he would be out right now if Jimmy was healthy and they were the foreseed

28pushing. You asked me that question. It feels like you think he would play, so I, but I don't know. Well, yes. Clearly I do. So I, but I, but I do hear you, I do hear you. You are like objectively speaking. You are correct. His body is not. It's breaking down in somewhere or another relative to what he was able to do a decade ago. And that's just life. That's the whole hope with the two timeline plan and having all this stuff is that they could age him gracefully like Tim Duncan. If you recall, Tim Duncan was still awesome his last year. He was just playing 27 minutes a game because he was 40. Who's 40? Who's still beast when he was on the floor? You know what I mean? So to me, to me, like, what do you think Tim Duncan averaged his last year? I looked this up. I remember you was, it was, it was not very high at your, you are a little bit, but you're okay. You're okay.

28I guess the internet's not going to look at my phone because I can't use multiple browsers at the same time right now. Always, always crappy. You know, I mean, the last few years, I'm just going off memory. His minutes kept going down and that's just how it goes, you know, he averaged 25 minutes, 25 minutes for game at age 40, and he was still giving him like 10 and 10, the year prior 14 and 10, 15 and 10, like he just slowly gave him less and less, and it wasn't because he couldn't play. It was just like, you know, he can't be out there as much. So I don't know, I don't know, this whole thing is just dark, I don't know what direction they go, but the only thing I really want is please do not try to sell me on, we're going to make a couple marginal moves and strengthen numbers in the off season when none of those players are scorers and Steph is going to have to average 30 for us to win games. That's what I need to not see happen. Do not do that to me warriors.

28Don't do it. Don't do it. And I'm going to show you something right now. I was looking at the stats since the all star break and like whatever, there without Steph and Jimmy, we know it's going to be bad, but I feel like the most telling stat is nobody on the team is averaging 16 points per game. Forget 20. I can't get to 16. That's pretty embarrassing. I didn't even know that it's just, I mean, it's just like, do I expect any of these dudes to average 20? No, you know, that's just kind of the roster. These are all role players, right? Melty, Moody, Todd, Guy, Guy was a 30 ball last night. OJ Cryer is probably the guy that if you gave him 35 minutes game, he could probably average 18, 20 points. He's another one who can't get those minutes, he can't play 30 minutes. Yeah, it's why I bring up Cryer, which is hilarious. OJ Cryer was not a name that anybody knew about until about two weeks ago, which is what, which is why you go back to the way that they built this team.

31It's just that's the way that, and I don't know if I blame Mike or Joe for that. That's actually, that's more of a Steve problem, but it's kind of how the warriors have been to do these years. It's happened to you a little eye on these guys, but yeah, I just, it's all, it's all the problems. It is everybody's got issues, man, but, but he's the one that we had to that he's got, he's gotten so good as you, I don't know if we're going to talk to you here, I don't know if we're going to do a key segment at this point, but he's the guy, he's the guy that when you, when you talk about like the Moses Moody stuff and like, you're not, you're not talking about it in a vacuum, you're talking about it being like all these things getting effed up, and now Moses Moody being out is going to just hurt them after everything else is the one that pushes them over the edge. If, if I were to say another person that can push back on that would be key, where it's like, yeah, Moses Moody was good, I don't know if he was ever great, but Ghee Santos is that level of good. Different type of player, Ghee's not guarding ones, too, maybe not even guarding three so much, but Ghee's, I think a more consistent score, I think he's actually a more

35consistent shooter, set shooter, less streaky, I think he's a better rebounder, I think he's stronger. I just think he's a guy that you can play at that three, four, and I know Moody was more at the one, two, three, but in terms of impact, like Ghee could probably take over a lot of what Moses Moody was good at. So I think, I mean, obviously you'd rather have both, man, you could play both of those guys at the being your seventh and eighth man, but Ghee's at least been the story so far that he's outplayed, that contract that he's on and earned the contract that he would have. Yeah. And they're different players, like Moses is the only guy who is turning into a movement shooter. Ghee's a hell of a passer, though, he's like a Swiss army knife. So yeah, I don't know, this is just, it is what it is, like the Ghee thing's been awesome, Ghee's definitely a piece that they can move forward with. You forget how young Ghee is.

38Ghee is the same age as Moses Moody and obviously Kuminga. He's 20, he's 23 born in 2002, just like Moses Moody. So, you know, just because he wasn't drafted in the lottery doesn't mean there isn't more to unlock with him, you know what I'm saying? Like, I can't see him not continuing to get better. I don't think he's ever going to be like a big time score or last night was fun, but I don't think that's like his future. But why can't he continue to be more of this Swiss army knife guy? Why can't he just continue to be a better rebounder, continue growing as a passer, growing as a shooter, doing all the things he's doing? Like he's going to, he's going to continue to help teams. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. We'll end it there. Guys, we'll be back. You know how it goes. One way or another. Snoring, gasping during sleep, feeling fatigued? Take up to Zepbound, Terzepatite.
