Cameron Boozer's Historic ACC Week

0:00On March 9, Duke freshman forward, Cameron Booser picked up ACC player of the week and Ricky of the week, honors for the fifth time this season. He's now one of just two players in league history to snag both awards that many times in a single year, joining former Blue Devil Cooper flag. Last week, Booser put up monster numbers in two Duke wins, averaging 26 points, 12 rebounds and 5.5 assists. He shot over 66% from the field and lit it up from beyond the arc, too. That included a standout rivalry win over number 17 North Carolina, where he dropped 26 points and grabbed 15 boards plus 5 assists. No other Division 1 player has done that against the top 25 team in a regulation game over the last 30 seasons. He followed it with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists at NC State. Duke has a ton of history here, with Blue Devil's earning rookie of the week and nearly half the weeks over the last 12 seasons. They've got the second most player of the week nods ever in the ACC.
