Joel Faribi, Morgan Frost, and Matt Coronado also lit the lamp for Calgary, each now tied for the team lead with 16 goals. Florida got on the board through AJ Greer, but their goalie DeNeil Tarasov took the loss after 32 saves, his 6th defeat in 7 starts. The Panthers set 13 points out of the Eastern Conference Wildcard spots, fighting to avoid becoming the first repeat champ to miss the playoffs. Since Los Angeles back in 2014-15, tensions boiled over late when Greer hooked Conor's Erie and shoved him into the boards, earning ejection with 846 left in the third.
