The Calgary Flames just made a move to bolster their lineup, acquiring center Ryan Strom from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 2027, 7th round draft pick. Strom, a 32-year-old from Mississauga, Ontario, has played 33 games for the Ducks this season, watching three goals and six assists, for nine points total. Over his career, he has appeared in 897 NHL games, racking up 489 points from 169 goals, and 320 assists with the New York Islanders, Emmington Oilers, New York Rangers, and Ducks. He is just three-game shy of becoming the ninth skater from the 2011 draft class to hit 900 NHL games after being selected 5th.
