Prisco sees Downs as the perfect difference maker for their defense, praising his range and ball skills that could fit in multiple roles. Downs Top's Bleacher reports final bigboard as the number one overall prospect, earning a 9.2 out of 10 grade. He's one of just two players hitting 9.0 or higher, alongside Notre Dame's Jeremiah Love. The Cowboys desperately need defensive help after posting the league's worst scoring defense last season.
