BYU's Wright Earns Academic All-District Honors

This honor goes to the top student athletes who shine both on the court and in the classroom across NCAA divisions, 1, 2, 3, and NAIA. People selected here move on to the academic all-America ballot, with national teams set to be revealed on April 14th. Wright, a sophomore from Wilmington, Delaware, met the strict requirements of at least a 3.50 grade point average and being a key player for his team. He powered the Cougars to their third straight NCAA tournament appearance, averaging 18.1 points, 4.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game.
