BYU's Big Twelve Tournament Path

On Saturday evening, the conference released the 2026 tournament bracket, placing BYU as the 10 seed to face 15 seed Kansas State in the first round. The first round kicks off Tuesday morning with four matchups among the bottom A teams. Baylor versus Arizona State, nine seed Cincinnati against 16 seed Utah, BYU taking on Kansas State in the early evening and 11 seed Colorado versus 14 seed Oklahoma State. Teams five to eight Iowa State, TCU, West Virginia and UCF get first round buys and will play the winners in round two, setting up the quarter finals with the top four seeds, one seed Arizona, two seed Houston, three seed Kansas and four seed Texas Tech.
