He painted Candy as a truly genuine guy off screen, matching the friendly vibe of his famous roles. The animator recalled how Candy invited him and other crew members to tour his production company, Frostback Productions, during filming. It showed Candy's approachable side amid a busy schedule. When Notten asked Candy to join them at the movie premiere, the actor cheerfully said he would bring the beer. The group even posed for a fun photo together right there.
