Buffalo Bills Biggest Wild Card Round Takeaways

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over his biggest Buffalo Bills wildcard round takeaways on the heels of Buffalo's convincing win over Denver and how at least some of them my relate to their next opponent, Baltimore in the divisional round.

The Bills gave up a big play for a touchdown to Denver on the opening series and then shut the door on them for the rest of the game. Patrick has thoughts on Matt Milano having by far his best game of the season and Von Miller, even without registering the sack turning back the clock with some extremely impressive pass rush reps.

Offensively the game plan was obvious from the get go and Patrick's got thoughts on the complete transformation James Cook has made since entering the NFL primarily as a pass catching threat out of the backfield. The Bills running game coupled with the explosive plays that came in the air in the second half is the recipe for making this a long playoff run.

They were plenty of other things to like and some not so much, including Taylor Rapp struggling, another special teams blunder and a red zone offense that while not costly against Denver, didn't execute well.

Of course, it's all about Baltimore going forward and Patrick's got preliminary thoughts on that matchup and much more.
