They signed former Pittsburgh Steelers' backup Kenneth Gainwell to a two-year deal worth $14 million with $10 million guaranteed. Gainwell, a 26-year-old former fifth-round pick, had a breakout year last season. In 17 games with two starts during the 2025 season, he rushed for 537 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also caught 73 passes for 486 yards and three more scores. Over his career in 83 games with just six starts, mostly with Philadelphia early on, Gainwell has powered up 1,700, 22 rushing yards, 1,207 receiving yards, and 21 total touchdowns. White, a second-round pick by the Bucks, may clear he wanted out this off-season, leaving

a big gap behind Buccaneerving. The team also let backup Sean Tucker walk as a free agent, deepening the need at the position. With Irving banged up and struggling last year, Gainwell brings stability and should share a strong 1-2 punch in the backfield, thanks to that. Guaranteed money locking him in for real playing time.
