Browns Trade Up, Stockpile Picks in NFL Draft

0:00On April 25, Cleveland Brown's been wheeling and dealing in the NFL draft. They jumped up into the second round to snack Toledo safety and manual McNeil Warren then flipped their third round pick number 74 for extra. Ammo down the line. In the swap with the New York Giants, Brown shipped out that 74 and hauled in picks 105, 145, plus A, fourth rounder way out in 2027. This leaves them stacked with eight picks on day three. Five of those crammed in to the fifth round alone. It's got folks talking about how they're building depth without burning early capital. Analysts figure they won't burn all those fifths straight up. Could package some for veteran help or stockpile even more future picks to fill roster? Gaps. Brown's playing the long game here, turning one spot into a draft war chest.
