Browns Trade, Sign Tytus Howard; Host Draft Prospects

The Cleveland Browns made ways by trading for offensive tackle Titus Howard and signing him to an extension right away. Next week, the league year kicks off, making that deal and others official. Teens have been talking contracts with agents, but nothing gets finalized until free agency opens up then too. With the drafts still almost two months out, prospect visits are already underway across the league. The Browns brought in three wide receivers and a quarterback to check them out of close. They hosted wide receiver Jordan Tyson, quarterback Ty Simpson, who has a prior connection to head coach Todd Monkin and wide receiver Carnell Tate. Tate stands out as a popular mock pick for Cleveland at the top spot, even if his 40-yard dash wasn't the fastest. All this sets the stage for a busy spring as the Browns built toward the draft and beyond.
