Browns Trade for Tytus Howard, Boost Line

0:00On March 2nd, the Cleveland Browns just made a key move by trading for offensive tackle Titus Howard from the Houston Texans. They sent over a 5th round pick in the 2026 draft in exchange. The deal wraps up on March 11th at 4pm when the new league year starts. Howard brings solid experience to Cleveland's line. He's a former first round pick who has started 93 games over 7 NFL seasons, mostly with Houston since 2019. The Browns need help up front and could replace all 5 starters this off season. This trade means Cleveland gives up a pick they got earlier from the Las Vegas Raiders in the Kenny Picket deal. It cuts into their young talent pool, but they grab a proven starter right away for better protection now. After the swap, the Browns still hold a strong 2026 draft class. That includes their own first round pick at number 6. Another first from Jacksonville at number 24. A second rounder at number 39. Third at number 70. Fourth at number 107.
