Word from Insiders is Watson's pulling ahead after last week's voluntary mini-camp, making him the early frontrunner to start. Fans and folks around the league are buzzing because Watson's the most battle tested here, a three-time pro-buller who came over in 20. 22, but he's been battling back from two torn Achilles tendons at age 30. Sanders, their 2024-5th round pick, showed promise starting seven gains as a rookie and has the full off season under his belt. Munkin plans to lock in his starter by the end of mini-camp, running June 9th through 11th, so Sanders has a short window to close the gap. The Browns are banking on Munkin's offensive smarts to unlock Watson's potential and get this squad rolling strong.
