He has the team-grabbing offensive tackle Monroe Freeling from Georgia at Pick 6, then Clemson Edge Russia T.J. Parker at Pick 24 on April 23rd. That first pick stings extra hard since White Alcarnel Tate just went one spot earlier to the Giants. Zerlin calls Freeling a future-left tackle with Upside, but better tackles like Spencer Fano and Frances Mauigoa were still sitting there, plus wide. Receivers the Brown's desperately need. Brown's fans in the Dog Pound are calling this mock, an absolute prank, like it dropped on April Fools. They see it ignoring the glaring hole at receiver, where guys like McCoy, Lemon, and Jordan Tyson win later and could have been steals. The second pick gets even louder, because Zerlin floats trading miles Garrett, something the front office keeps shutting down hard. Without that, grabbing an edge guy makes zero sense when receivers like KC Concepts the Own or Denzel Boston were available right after.
