The Cleveland Browns General Manager Andrew Berry is ramping up the defensive line during the second week of NFL free agency. He secured deals for free agent defensive end A.J. Epinisa from the Buffalo Bills. Resigned defensive end Julian Okwara who was on the practice squad. Last year, an officially added defensive tackle Kalea Davis, who started 17 games for the San Francisco 49ers last season. Berry kept the momentum going on Friday by resigning defensive end Sam Kamara, who's been with the Browns often on for parts of the last four. Seasons This move comes via reports from NFL Network's Cameron Wolf. Kamara started as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears in 2021 after college at Stony Brook. He played eight games there as a rookie before joining the Browns practice squad in October of 2022. For 18 games of Cleveland, he's not 38 tackles and six tackles for loss, though no

sacks yet in limited action. The Browns passed on tinder in Kamara before the March 11th deadline, which could have let them match outside offers. Now he's back in the fold and sets compete for snaps in the defensive end rotation alongside Epinisa, Okwara, Isaiah McGuire and Alex Wright. These additions signal Berry's push to rebuild a stronger front, giving the Browns more depth and competition as they gear up for the new season.
