Browns' Berry: Offensive Line Still Top Priority

Zion Johnson and Elson Jenkins, even so, he is not done yet. The NFL draft offers a chance to complete the rebuild, with the lines still their top priority over wide receivers. Some expect the Browns to shift focus to receivers with their second biggest need there, but the opposite makes more sense. A major gap remains at left tackle, unsettled since Joe Thomas retired years ago. Joel Baitonio's future at guard adds uncertainty too. Team leaders like new offensive coordinator Tom Monkin stressed that everything starts up front. That mindset pushes for more line help, despite recent moves. Versatile, new, and returning players give flexibility, but the tackle spot demands action now. The wide receiver room runs deep already, and that draft class holds value beyond the top picks or even first round. Tackles are more top heavy, perfect for an early selection.
