Broncos Sign Safety Tycen Anderson

0:00On March 20th, the Denver Broncos just signed safety Tyson Anderson to a one-year contract. He's coming over as an unrestricted free agent from the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was a fifth-round pick in 2022. Anderson suited up for 41 games with Cincinnati, including the last 34 straight. He was a special team standout, logging at least 75% of their snaps over the past two seasons. In his most recent year, he handled 83% of special teams plays, and even mixed in 6% on defense. He racked up 16 tackles there, leading the Bengals in those stops for both 2023 and 2024. This marks the Broncos' first outside free agent addition, since the league year kicked off. They also grabbed White receiver Jalen Waddle in a trade earlier this week, and locked up several of their own players. Denver keeps building depth in the secondary and beyond, setting up for a stronger push ahead.
