Broncos Sign Palczewski, Potentially Trading Powers

Known as Poucho, the undrafted player out of Illinois has been a solid back-up and stepped up big last season. When starter Ben Powers tore his biceps in week 5 and missed most of the year, the team first turned to Matt Partt. But after Partt's knee injury in week 6, Paul Geski jumped in and held the line strong, proving he can start. Now, with Poucheski three years younger and way cheaper than Powers, the Broncos might look to trade or release powers before the 2026. Season, he's locked in through 2027. The deal could be worth up to $11 million with incentives, which shows how much the team values his growth over three seasons, including 31 games and 13 starts. They chose to resign him directly instead of using a restricted free agent tender. Free agency kicks off in less than a week, so keep an eye on how this shakes up the offensive line plans.
