The Green Bay Packers are adding depth to their offensive line by resigning Tackle Darian Kinnerd to a one-year deal worth $3.75 million. This comes right after they locked in their starting group. Kinnerd was set to hit restricted free agency. He joined the team last season in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for a sixth round draft pick, Kinnerd saw action in 285 snaps and started four games at right Tackle. While he filled in for the injured Zack Tom, the Packers preferred their 2024 first round pick, Jordan Morgan, down the stretch. Kinner gave up 10 pressures, including a half sack against the Denver Broncos. He also played some tight end in Jumble packages. Looking ahead, the Packers planned to start Morgan and Tom at Tackle with Anthony Belton at right guard. Belton can slide outside if needed. The team might still hunt for more Tackle help, likely in the draft, to build even stronger
