Broncos Re-sign OL Alex Palczewski, Eye Line Changes

The 26-year-old was heading into restricted free agency, but will stay put in Denver instead. Paulgeski joined the team as an undrafted rookie in 2023, but set out the whole year with an injury. He earned a roster spot in 2024, stepping in a right tackle briefly, and then started 10 games at left guard in 2025. After filling in for an injured teammate, this move comes as the Broncos eye changes along their line, especially with left guard Ben Powers carrying a big cap hit of about 18 million dollars next year. Powers has started plenty over the last five seasons, but his deal has non-guaranteed money that makes him a trade or cut candidate. The new contract for Paulgeski should fall somewhere between $3.8 million and $6.3 million total, a solid value if he. grabs a starting role in 2026. With over $25 million in cap space right now, Denver has flexibility to keep powers through June or shop him around.
