Broncos' Powers on Trade Radar

The 29-year-old starter signed as a free agent in 2023 and carries a big nearly 12 million dollar base salary this year. Leaguewide moves are already picking up steam ahead of the New Year on March 11th. The Houston Texans just sent tackle Titus Howard to the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs plans to cut Jawan Taylor. Those missed time last season, with a biceps injury, but started every game the prior three years. The Broncos actually went undefeated in the games. Powers sat out, leaning on Alex Paujeski at left guard. The undrafted college player showed promise despite some run-blocking struggles, and the team seems keen to keep him as a restricted free agent. Draft class looks strong up front, and General Manager George Patton wants to keep adding linemen, especially a tackle where veterans' garibolas, and Mike McGlinchee are over 30.
