Broncos Lock in Key Players with Tenders

0:00On March 7th, the Denver Broncos are keeping all four of their exclusive rights free agents by issuing one-year tenders to each. That includes safety, Devon Key, outside linebacker, Don Drea Tillman, running back Tyler Bady, and defensive lineman Jordan Jackson. Every tender comes in at $1,075,000, the minimum for players with two accrued seasons. As exclusive rights free agents, these guys have little room to negotiate. They can sign the offer or sit out the entire season with no other options on the table. Last season, Key stood out as an all-pro special teams player, Tillman provided rotational pass rush help, Bady served as the third string running. Back and Jackson appeared in five games while making seven tackles. Now all four are locked in to compete for roster spots when training camp kicks off this summer. Key and Tillman look like sure things while Bady and Jackson have strong shots as sticking around. This keeps solid depth in place for the Broncos as they build toward another run at the playoffs.
