Broncos Lock in Core, Prioritize Depth

That includes 12 reserve over future contracts right after the 2025 season wrapped up, plus wide receiver Michael Bandy a few weeks. Later, for an early total of 13, then-free agency hit and they tendered or signed 17 more. Earlier this week, as the market opened wide, the team prioritized keeping familiar faces to build depth with our big splashes. They've already brought back full-back Adam Prentice, which makes the return of Michael Burden, who set out last year with a hamstring issue. Look pretty. Unlikely, fans and analysts see this as a smart, low-cost strategy, focusing on stability at key spots like the offensive line and tied-end. With centers like Alex Forsythe and Nick Garjulo backing up starter, Luke Wattenberg, deaf guy Sam Mustafar isn't a top priority either. Most were street-free agents from the practice squad. We'll keep an eye on whether any of these guys circle back to Denver as the off-season rolls on.
