Broncos Have 9 Unsigned Free Agents, 7 Draft Picks

About this episode

Despite two weeks of NFL free agency, the Denver Broncos still have nine unsigned players, including fullback Michael Burton and center Sam Mustipher. Burton, injured last season, is likely to sign elsewhere, while Mustipher is not a top priority with depth at center. The other unsigned players, including quarterback Ben DiNucci and wide receivers Elijah Moore and Kyrese Rowan, are expected to find new homes, leaving the Broncos with seventy-three players under contract. With seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft, the Broncos will add undrafted college free agents to reach the ninety-man offseason roster.

0:00On March 24th, after two weeks of NFL free agency, the Denver Broncos still have nine free agents unsigned. That includes two unrestricted free agents, fullback Michael Burton and center Sam Mustopher, plus seven players who came up from last year's practice, squad. Michael Burton missed all of last season with a hamstring injury. He recently visited the Cleveland Browns, and it seems likely he'll sign somewhere else soon. The Broncos already brought back fullback Adam Princes, who filled in for Burton last year, so a reunion looks unlikely. Sam Mustopher joined the team last December when center Luke Wattenberg got hurt. He only saw four snaps in the regular season finale, and 16 in the playoff win over the Buffalo Bills. With outs four sides in Nick Garjulo providing depth at center, Mustopher is not a top priority. The other unsigned players include quarterback Ben Danucci, tight ends Marcetti's Lewis, and Patrick Merta, wide receivers Elijah Moore, and Kairesi, Rowan, offensive lineman

Once that's done, though, add undrafted college free agents to reach the 90-man off-season roster, leaving these nine to find new homes elsewhere.
