Broncos Draft Kage Casey, Building Depth at OT

0:00On April 25th, the Denver Broncos just broke a nearly 10-year drought by drafting offensive tackle Kage Kasey in the fourth round, their first at the position since Gare Bowles back in 2017. Kasey brings serious college experience, starting 41 games straight to cap his career and he earned freshman All-American honors in 20-23. With his 33-inch arms, Scouts see him as versatile, maybe sliding inside to guard or serving as a swing tackle while the Broncos eye him amid. Upcoming contract situations for left guard Ben Powers after 2026 and right tackle Mike Maglinchi with just two years left. The team is building depth long-term, locking in Alex Paulgeski on a two-year deal and watching undrafted free agent Frank Crumb develop nicely. Kasey models his game after Bowles, met the staff at the Senior Bowl in Combine and says he's game for tackle, guard or even center, whatever helps. Him crack the lineup soon.
