One popular notion is a partner instinctively pulling out a chair for you when you enter a room tired and overwhelmed, no words needed. Brits rank emotional intelligence as a top partner trait at 48%, just ahead of patients at 47% and shared values at 46%. More than one in 10 even say they would welcome actual mind reading abilities in a relationship.
