British Police Arrest 462 in Train Robbery Crackdown

The public has welcomed the tougher stance, as robbery numbers have plunged more than 35% during the winter peak months. Offences dropped from 760 between November and February two years ago, down to 493 this season. Police are keeping up to pressure with high visibility patrols, playing closed officers, and tools like live facial recognition at busy spots such as Euston Station. They're also using knife arches, search dogs, and tips from passengers to catch more offenders.
