British Man Charged with Terrorism for Al-Shabaab Links

0:00On April 9th, a British man named Jermaine Grant, 43 years old, just got hit with serious terrorism charges for directing an Islamist group called Al-Shabaab out of Somalia. He's accused of running their operations from December 31st, 2007 through January 1st, 2010, plus three counts of. Showing up at a commando training camp in the city of Kismayu, and two counts of holding an AK-47 rifle for terror purposes. Police charges stem from a long investigation by London's counter-terrorism policing, and Grant's currently locked up at H&P Franklin Prison. Police and prosecutors are stressing that they'll chase down terrorist suspects no matter the time or place, saying they're solid evidence and it's in. The public interest to move forward.
