British Airways Flight Continues After Passenger's Death

Crew members debated how to handle the situation and decided to place the body in the rear galley, which had a heated floor instead of a lavatory. The family was deeply upset, and several crew wanted to return to Hong Kong right away. But officials note that a death on board isn't considered an emergency, so the flight pressed on. Toward the end of the journey, some passengers reported a foul smell near the galley. Upon landing, police boarded Flight 32 and kept everyone seated for 45 minutes during their checks.
