I honestly think this will be heresy for the golf fans that are here, Valdez, Jason, Eric, specifically. I like breaking down the master's champion's dinner and what I like watching the master's. And I know that drives you crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. I accepted that you basically despise golf. I don't know if despise is just- I've had no real war. It's like monster truck. If the master's is compelling down the stretch, I'll watch it. But it's not something I seek out every
12single minute. I'm perfectly okay with it. But I do love breaking down the master's club champion dinner menu. I know. When it came out- When it came out yesterday, and I don't like to be classist in these guys, but when I looked at it, I went, oh my god, this is one of the like the uffiest menus I think. You know, I could just think of like bubble Watson and it's like whatever you got hot dogs and corn dogs and whatever the hell he had. He was very both. From what I remember, he was like chicken breast. Yeah. Mashed potatoes. Right. Green beans. Like very light. Yeah. I'm wearing it again. Like standard. Right. Down the middle of the road typed meal. He's a hillbill. Yeah. Yeah. And from back to Florida. Yeah. And then in Rory, though, Rory's lived his good life. He's been a prodigy his whole life. Well, in his menu reflects it. Yeah. And we'll go through it. And wait till we get to the wine. JP told me the cost of the way our buddy Larry texted us or whatever and told us the cost of each of these wines. Yeah. Unreal. And is it true that the player pays for everything? I think that's true. Not the club. How could you ask the club to pay for,
13you know, six thousand dollars in wine for each table? Just because the club has billions of dollars. Yeah. Fabulously wealthy. They couldn't afford it. Obviously. It's certainly good. All right. So here are the appetizers. You got four appetizers to kick off. Rory's master's club dinner, which is being hosted on April 7th. So you're starting with a peach and ricotta flatbread with balsamic hot honey and basil. And it just sounds delicious with some flavor. Yeah. With some with some toppings, if you will. Sounds good. This next one I'm not crazy about because of one ingredient. Yes. Me too. Bacon wrapped dates. That sounds great. My wife. My wife loves dates. I can't stand them. They're okay. That's not the agreement I'm talking about. Bacon wrapped dates are amazing. I mean, I love the bacon, but I want shrimp in there. Here's the killer for me. That's served with goat cheese. I'm about a million miles out on goat cheese and all. If you gave me the bacon wrapped dates with almonds, I'm all in. I know. Remember, he's got a weird cheese thing. It's just not my
16thing. Yeah. So Jason, here, if you did a blind taste test, he probably wouldn't know. 100% I would not. I have a very specific palate when it comes to cheese. Yeah. He hated rock shrimp tempura with creamy, spicy sauce. Sounds incredible. I'll be all over that. Okay. That's the third of the four appetizers on the list. Yeah. By the way, I don't know. Dare I say like a rock shrimp. What exactly is a rock shrimp? I don't know, but I'm guessing that I don't know. But I'm guessing a rock shrimp. It's not going to be like the clam shell that you buy your local grocery store with 25 shrimp and the cocktail sauce in the middle. It's going to be foof here. Yeah. And I think this is your winner of your appetizers, the fourth of four. Grilled elk sliders with caramelized onion jam and roasted garlic aoli. All right, you guys can make it sound amazing. You can make fun of me. I don't know what an elk is. It's a bigger
17version of a deer. That's what I would have guessed. That's what I would have guessed. Yeah. I don't know that I would be. I would try it, of course. Yeah. Because I'm a booty. I don't know that I would love the idea of eating deer is not appealing. Honestly, if you put caramelized onions on just about anything. I love caramelized onions on pizza. Yeah. Caramelized onions on and some. I've just got anything. But an aoli is just like mayo mixed with garlic and maybe some like some olive oil. It's good. That's good. That's good. You know more than me. Aoli's like mayo olive oil. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you put that on top of your grill. I like that to be pork sliders. Something different than. Okay. Then elk. Yeah. I'm not a deer guy. Not a bad guy. It's a delicacy. I feel like that's if it's deer, it's like a hillbilly food. No. I think I don't know this. I'm guessing elk is just it's probably a better meat than just a random deer that you shot that you shot in the woods outside of a gust. I mean, the whole
18menu is foofy. It can't have some hillbilly. Yeah. I mean, he's doing it big. He's doing it big. So the first one of the biggest flexes I've ever seen. So then you go from the app, the app is to your first course. Yeah. Yellowfin tuna carpaccio. Yeah. With. That'll be his correct me if I'm wrong. Fograw. Is that how you pronounce it? Toasted baguette bread and chives. How does it felt? He's no one. He's from the beans. He's very cultured. Yeah. Now, you know, you know it. Fograw is. Yeah. I'm not a vegan. I've heard. I eat animals, but Fograw, like the way they obtain it and the way that they get it from. Very controversial. From a goose, right? The goose is like force fed. Yes. It gets the liver. The liver gets fatty. And then once it's been force fed and the liver's fatty enough, they extract it and kill it and put it on your steak. I mean, it's not great, but I'm not saying I wouldn't try it, but I might. You're not going to try it. That's kind of cruel to do the animal. But then again, I'm eating animals throughout this menu. So
24why am I going to pick and choose with the. I'm not eating that. I'm sorry. I'm not eating that. I've had it. It's good. What's the carpacio? Is that like thin slices of meat? What do you have? You've seen a beef carpacio, haven't you? Where it's just like thinly sliced rib eye. It's uncooked. Usually has like a sauce. Yeah. That would be good. The elephant. Yeah. All right. So that is your that is your first course. Now we get to the main main course is spectacular. So you got a choice of either a wagyu filet mignon or seared salmon served with traditional Irish champ. And that's a potato dish, especially like whipped potatoes. Now this is what really seals in a pan of melted butter right on the top of it. That just melts me. It's just so good. I mean, I butter so good. Saute Brussels sprouts. I eat that. Yeah. Like me some Brussels sprouts. I used to hate them as a kid. No, it's great. They're good. They can
24be incredible. Glazed carrots with brown butter. I mean, I would destroy that. And this really sets it off. Crispy, medallion, onion rings. I mean, how good. That's a pretty good meal. How good. And you have to pick the wagyu instead of salmon, right? Yeah. Like kids get both. It says choice. I know. Wait. Now go to the go to the dessert. All right, you're dessert. The pudding. Yeah. A sticky, toffee pudding. Vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce. I mean, that would say my choice. I'm not I don't think I'm a toffee. Yeah, it sounds great. But I would eat it. Of course. Have you ever had a heath bar? Yeah. Yeah, go to heath bar. I do. I do. But it's not my top five. But I do. I like heath bars weighed. Heath bars with ice cream. I have a heath bar as as a top. That would be good. That would be really good. This is like it's one of my top seats. If this is like a heath blizzard, if this is like a heath blizzard, I'm only it kind of sounds like it's basically what it is. Right. It's a it's a pudding with vanilla
25ice cream and a basically a warm heath bar melted over top of it. It's delicious. I'm I'm given the overall dinner of B minus. Oh, really? What do you like about it? Because the bacon wrap dates I'm out the grilled elk sliders. I'm not I'm not into that. I'm sorry. I give this meal a solid and it's border on a plus the first course and the main course I love. Yeah. But the appetizers of 50% on that. I think it's borderline obscenely obnoxious. But I would I can't imagine. I think I would devour it. Well, I think I would enjoy every single one of them. Yeah. It feels like a I'll be honest. It feels like a traditional wedding. It might be a little fancier and foodier food than a wedding. But basically at every wedding I've gone to it's salmon or steak. Yeah. All right. This is why I go steak. It's got some size and better. Come on me. And then the appetizers, you know, you sure you have your your your way. He's underselling it. Yeah. Your way over simplifying it. Yeah. I'm simplifying it. I mean,
28obviously you have a beef or a fish. But it's like the way these things are all prepared in the quality of the beef. Well, if you mentioned the wine, we've talked about this for power of a simpleton. Yeah. Yeah. It's a calm. It's a hundred. I mean, I get it. He's he can't appreciate how's that appreciation for food. Yeah. Just I'll eat whatever. My point is I've been to weddings. I've noted the similarities. Do you understand how much better this meal is than any wedding you've never been to? Of course. Of course. Of course. I mean, it's not even close. I mean, you can minimize it, but this menu boils away any wedding menu I've ever seen. He is richer than us. He's born richer than us. I'm just telling you, I would not eat the bacon wrapped base. That's that's my and I wouldn't be my favorite. And I prop. I mean, I might take a bite of the grilled elk slider, but I don't think I'd like it. I bet you'd like it. It says it's sweeter meat. The way to do it is just not to know. Can you eat something and not know what it is? No, I have to I have to know. They say it's a meat that's according to the things I've read. It's a
29little bit sweeter, sweeter, but gameier. Is it tougher? Yeah. So now we get to the wines. Now I'm gonna try to pronounce some of these wines, but I'm sure I'm gonna give you the I'll give you the prices because Larry DeVal who used to work with when it was back when it was NBC Sports Washington now monumental sports. All right. So your wines, you've got a 2015 Salon Brew champagne. That's $1,300 a bottle. Okay. Then you got a 2022 Domaine La Flav burgundy. That's from France $1,800 a bottle. Then you got a 1990 vintage Chateau La Feet rough child, a Bordeaux. That's from France as well. $1,150 a bottle. And at the bottom of the four, you have a 1989 Chateau decoem. Apparently that's a French dessert wine. bargain $530 a bottle. That's like your after dinner type drink to pair with your dessert. I'm not a wine guy. When I first got married, I thought and we bought a house. I thought I'll get into wines. I started buying wines. We started doing
31wines with dinner and all it did was destroy my esophagus. Give me headaches. Not a wine guy. I'm not sure I've ever had even a $100 bottle of wine ever. It's just I don't think I've ever probably haven't either. I wouldn't know. I just I was gifted one. Yeah, I wouldn't know. So Rory, I mean, he just, I mean, he did it right. I mean, there's some obviously some great items and all the wines crazy. I mean, just can't imagine what the total bill is. I mean, the total bill must be. Well, how much do you win for winning the masters? Couple mill. I mean, it doesn't matter. He's a couple mill probably like three three to probably higher than that, right? Might be more than that. I'm going to check it. Maybe it's pretty big, but I mean, he's worth half a billion dollars. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The money is has never been more ill-relevant than it is today for more Rory macaroni. Is it it almost it's almost off putting. Honestly, when I read it, and I don't
32like mean to be classless that way. I mean, God bless him, but I looked at it and I go, my God. Is he just kind of just showing off how fancy he is? Like, this is like the fancy thing. He's a man of means. I know. I know. I know. He's not. I almost respect like Bubba's menu more, even though this is better. Oh, I'd much rather eat that menu than Bubba's menu. You think I want green beans. They're fine. I agree. This one will taste better. This one will taste better. Yeah, not even close. I agree. I thought Sheffler's was pretty good last year for my remember. You boy bitch from the junkies. It's the first time this has ever happened to me. I looked at that menu and I go, this is like an obnoxious. I don't know what about- I don't like- Just fancy that way. It's fancy. Yeah. Punch up- I know you are. Punch up Scottish. I mean, I feel like he was more of like a mashed potatoes guy too. Yeah, that's me. But this is really mashed potatoes. It was just whipped potatoes. It's a traditional Irish dish. It's very similar. I mean, there's only so many food. I understand, but it's just the way it's presented. It's the language of it all. It's the language. Yeah. Yeah. I understand. I mean, beef or fish. All right. So- So Scotty had cheeseburger sliders. Exactly. Yeah. Well, I'm sorry.
37I'm going to eat them over bacon wrapped dates. No, but it's the same as the elk sliders. Yeah. Or the elk sliders, right? No, but it's not the same. It's more like- This is more like American way. Yeah. Yeah. Middle-class, mid-American kind of thing. Meatball and Ravioli bites. Right. He had Texas-style chili. He had wood-fired cowboy ribeye or black and red fish. Or like Brett's menu. You know, I mean, I just like that. Yeah. And the dessert was chocolate chip cookie. We're in a hot dog. I'm surprised. He definitely did. I mean, yeah, I mean, this is like- I guarantee that was fantastic. I'm sure it's fine. This one is just- it just- it has an air of fufiness to it. A team roar that just jumped down it. I would want to dine at that dinner. Be too. It would be fun. Who's getting new? I would enjoy that one more because it would be a bunch of fancy stuff that I'm sure tastes delicious. Yeah. It's amazing. Yeah, but like- Okay. I think you like a filet maybe a little bit more than you like ribeye, but both of them
37come good. That's great. Yeah. Yeah, but again, it's not just a filet. It's the wagoo filet. It's elite. I mean, you're just- you're eating like a king. You're eating like a Rothschild. And drinking like a king, especially with the prices of the wide. Yeah. So that is Rory's master's menu. Coming up next, we will pivot to the ice. We'll talk to Brandon to aim. Do it from the Washington gaps. I got a big win last night and it was the debut of Cole Hudson. We'll talk to him about that and more next. Cheboy Bish from the junkies.
