Boy, 12, Charged in Birmingham Attacks

0:00On March 23rd, a 12-year-old boy faces serious charges after a woman in her 60s suffered major injuries at a home on Kellid Rodin. Birmingham, the attack happened just before 6.15 pm on Wednesday, March 18th, and police arrested the boy soon after. The victim remains in the hospital in critical condition, fighting for her recovery. Officials say the boy has been charged with wounding and sexual assault in connection with the incident. On top of that, he's facing charges for a theft at same day and for intentionally strangling another woman during a street confrontation last month. Due to his young age, his name cannot be released. He is being held in custody and due in Birmingham Youth Court on Friday, March 24th. West Midlands Police are still digging into the case.
