This stretch covers almost seven miles, running from Martin Luther King Boulevard, right at the New Mexico State Line, all the way to railroad drive. Near the Union Pacific tracks, the full highway will span nearly 11 miles and cost more than $300 million. It hooks up with New Mexico Highway 213, also called War Road, on the northwest side, and links the Highway Loop 375 at. Railroad and Transmountain drives on the southeast end. Locals are filling the changes already, like the long-time Bowen Ranch that shut down late in 2025, to clear space for the build. But it sets the ease traffic jams on that clogged middle section of Interstate 10 and spark fresh commercial growth in the area.
