Maniac 2000's creator and icon of the Irish music scene Mark McCabe got stuck into the bonus episode this week. From answering listener dilemmas about friendships that seem more like a job, to imagining a world without music.
The lads blind rank some of the worst things Dublin has to offer including the Viking Splash, the Walkinstown Roundabout and being in Lucan.
And Calvin tries to argue that Lent has fallen off.

Damn.
Right, so we're here for the bonus episode this week.
Mark, we're here still here now.
Hopefully we get a few more of those below and drink and to Mark.
Take a picture of Cardone.
Yeah, they do.
I like them though though.
They're good.
Right, any questions answered for fun?
Yeah, you do last week or the week before Mark Megan was in.
Yeah.
We talked about what the best Irish song of all time is.
Yeah.
Somebody replied and said so grace the wolf tons.
Yes.
It was his suggestion or else the blower's daughter by Damon Rice.
I'm sorry.
Mark, you didn't get it.
I got a few messages.
I got a few messages about Andrew.
Like, what did you not say many?
Yeah.
I was thinking more like, you know,
hard-filled songs.
I'm like, oh, he said this is, but he has that.
I only think of one class, you know what I mean?
And then I found the version that I spoke about with certain versions
and that Christy sang.
And I found that then on Instagram, I'm not sure.
And a lot of people take me was like,
I was just a version you were talking about.
And it was like, to me, like, that's really up there.
It's hard to pick a number one thing.
Do you have one that you'd think of?
Irish.
Irish, yeah.
It depends because when you're like, when you go across the ears,
like if you go the whole of the moon,
you know, the water, water.
And the voice was Irish.
Oh, he did not know that.
Come on there.
Oh, he did not know that.
And oh, come on.
Google, that's just in case I'm having a blip.
We'll court this.
Mainly Britain and Ireland, yeah.
I don't know.
Now, like, if the drawer is not fucking
tall or more or something,
I think it's a bit of a reach there.
I'm sorry to lead singers Irish.
It seems like they had a lot of different members.
And they were, oh, no.
Okay.
So it's up for discussion.
But if you say the stunning,
like brewing up a storm,
do you know what that's you?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I didn't know that.
They only showed up on an ad back in the day, yeah.
Yeah, oh, yeah.
Christy Moore right on.
Yeah, they were all getting the mention, yeah.
All of that.
You know, many actually are going to be in that.
This all stand from because today,
if I am, I'd be on the top 100.
Yeah, yeah.
How do you say?
You know, mainly actually going to be really up there.
I don't know what it's going to be right up there.
Oh, it's easily top 10.
Directly.
Easily top 10.
They've been chatting to me about it.
They won't tell me.
Yeah, where it is.
So they were just sort of saying, listen,
your feature, but they're not saying,
where but I'm like,
I don't know, come on.
Like, because I mean,
that's a conservative audience there.
You know, vote them not, you know?
So they don't, they don't run on podcasts in here.
So they got all the podcasts I mentioned.
Okay.
So like, people's podcasts are ultimately done.
I'll open up here.
Wow.
Wow.
Everyone, everyone who listens today,
FMFU, and they're also getting called conservative.
But Glenn anyways sent in about that.
And he has a question as well.
He says, would you rather never listen to music again?
Or every time you listen to music in public,
on a run, public transport, doing the shopping, et cetera,
you have to use a Bluetooth speaker on full volume.
See, we have an eclectic taste of music.
That's, that's the term.
An eclectic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So you'd be playing something forever.
Oh, Jesus.
Oh, that would have been, would you be afraid?
Now, well, eclectic will be a wide, like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But if you're, you know, if you're playing it in public,
just at least somebody's gonna like it.
Yeah, well, that's the thing.
Well, I went on a run the other day,
and it was a long run as I listened to Olivia Dean.
I started to run off, listened to 50 Cent,
and I finished on the Olivia Dean.
Well, the song is fucking, oh, it has me,
Lichy has me in the chokeholdic.
Wow.
Yeah.
You know, in the way, she's actually classed.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
We're running though.
We're getting up for last time,
and then they're just trotting along.
I was like, this is a very bell-dare virgin.
I have an album that I run to.
And without fail, every single time
makes goose bumps come on the back of my neck.
But here's an album, and I'm stand up,
when it gets to certain points.
And it's the perfect pace.
So you're running to the beat.
Yeah.
And it's from start to finish.
What is it?
It's a live album by Underworld.
Oh, really?
And it's just so good.
It's got a green cover, a dance Spotify.
If you do run,
that's the one.
Put it on.
Like, guarantee you will run.
And you'll keep running,
because it literally fuels you.
And I get to this point in it where it's like,
you only start running, you're kind of just starting to,
you're getting your breath, and you're getting your flow,
or whatever.
It gets to a point where it's almost like something clicks.
Yeah.
And it's like, you're activated.
And it's just something about it to me.
Everything, everything is what it's called.
I think Spotify had that before, where it's like a tempo.
Yeah.
So you can pick your tempo and it'll give you a playlist.
Yeah.
It's off that, like how fast you want to run.
Yeah.
Oh, you used to run to air.
Was it Swedish salesmight?
Was it on till now?
What?
On till one?
Yeah.
And like, it starts off a greyhound.
I mean, that's the fucking best.
Yeah.
You don't get to go and be assigned off a run.
But in answer to your question,
I'm picking the speaker.
For sure.
There's only one person I know, right?
Who doesn't listen to music?
I've only ever met one person who doesn't listen to music.
And I'm just like, how is that even possible?
Do you want to name it, James?
It's Derek Mooney.
It's Derek Mooney.
I'll be surprised.
And I've said this like any time I'd say,
how is it in the...
I don't know.
Speech?
Well, he doesn't listen to music,
and I've said it to him,
like how can you live your life
not connected to music?
Like, it just absolutely,
like that doesn't seem real to me.
Because it's like,
only really short of something embedded in like the human DNA,
like because music goes back thousands of years.
There's, yeah, thousands of years.
But there's people out there that don't listen to music.
Like, literally don't listen to music.
And I guarantee it's possibly somebody
listening to this.
I said, yeah, I listened to podcasts,
but I wouldn't really listen to music.
And maybe they don't intentionally listen to music.
But like, passively or subconsciously,
music is everywhere.
Like, well, how could you say,
I don't listen to music?
It's like saying I don't breathe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah, we were in Galway,
and I was drawing on COVID,
and I remember walking down the road
and some fellow boy and he had an amp
and he wheeled the past,
and it was like a flash mob.
Come on, and it was that song,
yes, or it can be ugly.
And I was like,
this is the best thing.
Like, one of the best things I've ever seen.
Just some fellow one that wrote,
listening to that, and then like,
a lot of people start dancing to one,
I was like, this is what it's all about.
Like, this is what music is still on.
The only person who's picture of myself being like,
yeah, man, I'm just wheeling that everywhere.
This is what we're all listening to today, folks.
You know what I mean?
Me and the bus speak, I was only like,
it would be a bit like, you know,
there's a fellow yesterday where I was.
I heard music, and I thought it was a car
with a window open,
and it was actually a guy on his bike
with a JBL speaker strapped around,
but just blaring, and he was just chilling.
He was just,
see, I didn't see people like this on the bus
and I didn't even listen to the channels,
and so on, it does be bad.
And you're like, fucking hell.
Like, if you're gonna play a little play something decent,
you know what I mean?
So what is?
Everyone's gonna be judging your music choices,
like, yeah.
What do we get?
What do you get, Paro?
When it comes towards someone who's
part of our rap's time of the year.
And I'd be like, fuck,
like, what was I listening to in March?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, like, hopefully that doesn't
overtake something new and creep in at 5th.
It's just gonna be a levied in next year.
100% this year, levied in, yeah.
McGinty wants you to pretend you've gone back in time
to when you were 18.
What would you be doing on your average Saturday night?
Gone to sin, average Saturday night.
Yeah, you know what?
When I was 18, I was in sixth year, right?
And I even got to the stage when we were in sixth year
that we wouldn't go out.
We weren't going to Friday,
we wouldn't go out Saturday and Sunday,
and then we weren't going to Monday,
because going out Monday is when your 18 was fucking deadly.
Yeah, yeah.
It was a lot of places to go.
We're not in school.
Yeah.
And you're going to school on a Tuesday,
and you'll have all the stamps in your arm.
Yeah.
The only grin I've lived.
We used to have messy Mondays.
Yeah.
That's basically what we called it,
it was in Mana, which then became...
Opie.
Really, yeah.
Then became index, yeah.
Then stairs there on a Monday was absolutely class.
And cheap drink.
Yeah, we used to go to 21s,
but it's so whole now.
Yeah.
We got down on the stairs,
yeah, yeah.
It's like the case, we used to go in there,
and I remember like two o'clock,
and you were like, I have to go up our scale.
And it's not like walk,
we're like, you know what,
I can found her in and walk.
Yeah.
And you know you'd get through the day and walk,
you're like, this is cute.
It's almost going to be like, yeah,
do what I'm wearing this B formula there.
If double mats, and you're like,
fucking hell, you're not available.
That's still a thing.
Going out on a Monday.
Yeah, yeah.
Dices is kind of where everybody goes now, I think.
So...
Yeah, true.
Actually, yeah.
Poor thing.
Still a thing.
I remember then on the Saturday,
the lads had to get a few bottles.
Like, go to the office,
and it's going to bike waltz, and we'd also...
But again, being eight in was fucking deadly.
It was.
Like, the biggest worry in the world was like,
I hope that you know when I'm texting,
it looks me.
You know, like shit like this.
Cause we had me a little brother.
He lived with us on the podcast a few weeks.
Cause he's doing this walk experience here.
So we got him in for an episode,
and he was talking about going to the daily,
and sometimes you don't have 50 cents to get cheese on your roll.
And I was like,
cheese, I remember I was your age,
and that was the biggest problem I had.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Back then, you're 18.
Like, you have no worries.
Does it let you...
I remember having no worries back then.
Like, you know, you're going to have a lawyer on on the Sunday.
You know, yet then I was going to be mad.
You know what I mean?
So it's class.
Yeah.
You would miss it.
Damn, you really did.
Yeah.
They wore the...
Music was fucking legal.
There was DJs playing everywhere in the market.
It was fucking class.

All right, there's a plan right here.
We have a blind rank.
This is something that we didn't do enough of
over the last world in the podcast and they're able to
be present with more regular things.
All right, Lads, Jay and Clint Dockon here.
Rank these Dublin-specific scenarios in terms of how much
they ruin your entire day.
One, getting bad news on the phone.
Just sorry.
Many years stuff.
Many years stuff.
There's five.
Getting bad news on the phone just as the Viking splash tour
goes by and they all do that poxy cheer.
That's...
Tell you something about that.
Clip in both.
That thing followed me, right?
I used to live in Warburg Street,
which is opposite Leo Burdox.
Yeah, that's where they go.
And when they get to Burdox, they cheer.
That's one of the places they cheer because they say,
I'm coming up on the right-hand side is Leo Burdox,
one of the most famous chip shops in the country.
Everybody give me a big cheer.
Hey, my gaff was there.
Every Saturday Sunday morning, hungover,
whatever, from like first thing in the morning
to like late afternoon, that flip and cheer.
And then I had a studio in Barrow Street, in the factory.
And it was a crazy gaff because the window looked out
onto the canal, there's such the bass in there.
So if you put your hand out the window,
you were actually touching water.
Yeah.
But they went into the river there.
Yeah.
And they went by the window all the time.
And they started doing this thing where they were flipping.
Cheer, not me in the studio as well.
Oh, you hate it.
There's that.
Rex me here.
I fucking hate her.
No, jump in your own traffic and you're like,
lads, honestly, like, mom,
was to get in the store.
I was fucked out today.
He's not an else's kid.
Have you ever done it?
Yeah.
Boy, you can't splash it.
Yeah.
It's supposed to be actually class.
It's supposed to be really good.
I've just told somebody I know went on.
They said that's actually really good.
We'll have to look at it.
Oh, maybe.
We'll have to look at it.
But, uh, I won't be in the hood today.
If someone's like, give me bad nails,
nails, I'll touch her and I'll be like,
and that fuck it, but...
You'll be trowing your phone and all.
I'm gonna, it's number one, the worst.
Yes.
I'll go number two, just in case.
Right.
Okay.
The next one is the walk in the town roundabout.
He doesn't give any details.
Yeah, it's fair enough though.
You have to go round, I suppose.
You, you...
So, Shavanna's from Galway.
If you haven't, guess what you know.
Yeah.
But you said you were afraid of this.
I mean, I'd be going around it,
but I don't know if I'm in the right lane ever.
I'm just kind of...
It's sketchy.
I'm screaming under my breath the whole time, like, uh...
I did.
Recently, I think it was like,
actually acknowledged as one of the most dangerous
roundabouts in Europe.
I'd say it is someone tried to say,
obviously, one of those overmits that, like,
people never actually just googled
because it's such an outrageous claim
that's the biggest roundabout in Europe.
Yeah.
And I was like,
do you know where the Shanzelisa is now?
The actor triumph.
You know, like, that's a roundabout, like,
that's the biggest, like,
probably the biggest roundabout in Europe.
But that's pretty safe by comparison.
Yeah, where it's like, the walk in town is like...
We don't know what...
Do you know what, Rex, me hand...
We're roundabouts.
We don't know how to drive on them anymore.
People just give up and see roundabouts change as well
because one of them was like,
oh, left horn, oh, you can't horn tray-hand.
I'm like, this is not how roundabouts walk, like,
you know what I mean?
The real change depends on roundabouts
and they're all up on traffic lights on roundabouts.
I'm like, this is the piece of work.
Yeah, traffic lights on roundabouts just makes no sense.
I've only actually realized in the last year
how to properly use a roundabout
to be a official way to use it.
But it doesn't really make sense.
They have three lanes on some of them
leading into it.
Yeah, possibly.
Yeah, yeah.
To use the middle one.
No matter where you're going,
use the middle one.
Unless you take the four lanes,
then take the left lane.
I knew that exit.
Does she use the middle lane?
That's what I do.
And then I'd be kind of screaming.
Oh, you're going to put that as number five.
That doesn't bother me.
I'm a confident enough driver to do it.
I've been saying this for weeks,
one, we need to do a,
we need to give like revision lessons and ads.
YouTube ads.
This is how to do it.
So you're clicking on to watch
for those parts updates on YouTube.
You're getting a 20 second ad about this,
how you drive on the road.
I think they've done that.
I think they've done that.
They've done that before.
Yeah, bring it back.
But I don't think anybody really
kind of got the gist.
Well, I'm going number four,
because I don't wind the walker time round the bill.
I'm not afraid of the walker time round the bill.
What do you think I am?
You're defending it.
Being made here like a hard man.
What you can be afraid of round the bill?
I'll show you.
Tripping on the,
oh,
disabaddle now already.
Now what is his rope pavement?
Tripping on the pavement
in front of a pack of 11-year-old geopros.
That's a bad one.
That is a bad one.
That's a pretty bad one.
There's no worse than tripping out
in front of you.
Yeah, get the help list.
Yeah.
So what have you used three and four
of so far?
I'll go to you without one.
That's a bad one.
Because what you're going to do,
you can't get smarter than the round the kids.
The group deals.
The only kids.
Staying in this stuff.
Yeah.
So one and four left.
Having to negotiate an absolute herd
of Spanish backpacks,
taking up the entire pavement,
do people say pavement?
No, I don't know why you did so list.
You probably put this into the chat,
you'll be tearsome.
I'm going number one.
Again, I still don't understand.
Spanish students.
I don't get way out of here.
Like, way orland.
I have all the places in the world to go.
Learn English.
What?
To learn English.
Go to England.
In Dublin.
Go to England.
Where they actually have infrastructure
and proper transport systems.
They're all getting under 27b.
They're about 80 of them.
The 27b is full now.
They don't want you to get the 27b.
You don't have to change their money, I guess?
I don't know.
So they're coming to Ireland to learn English
because they don't want to go to the Euro.
The exchange.
I'm only guessing.
Do they be in Galway and Archivanna?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They actually, yeah.
Oh, I didn't know that.
All the shops were taking up, yeah.
No, I thought it was just a double thing.
I'm like, what's the story with them?
It's the least I know that they don't discriminate.
They have the same problems that we have with them.
You know what I mean?
Or remember, I was in Palm Island last year
going swimming.
And I was about a thousand of them.
Like, I was like, what the fuck is going on?
Where?
How did they get here?
How are you getting the Palm Island?
You have to drive.
You know where the shelter's at?
Yeah, yeah.
In Palm Island, I'm at Lehoid River.
Like, you can't just get dropped off there.
Well, you have to get the strapped off there.
You know what I mean by a car?
It's about a thousand of them.
I was like, what?
Must have been in buses or something.
Organized.
You're shipping them around.
Yeah.
Big business.
Yeah, it must be.
Big business, like.
Yeah.
And then the last one.
That's your number one.
That's the worst thing in Dublin.
It's the Spanish children's.
It doesn't seem to be a summer thing anymore.
It seems to be all year round.
Yeah, like.
No one said they seemed them today.
Yeah.
I'm like, it's March.
Yeah.
That's like, that's wait.
And November?
December same thing.
I did not, like, in school.
What I think what they're doing is they're here on school.
So they take time out and.
This is school.
Yeah, this is the first school.
It was just school.
I think it's like a transition.
You're equivalent, maybe.
Where they're just tossing for the year.
They got the raw and they'll be able to imagine, like,
being, like, in fucking, I don't know, Valencia.
And they're like, yeah, you're going to Dublin.
In transition, you be human.
It's so weird as well, isn't it?
Like, Spanish students, you know what I mean?
Like, it's no party.
It's our friends just roaming around.
They're all Spanish.
Italians though, as well.
There's a lot of Italians.
Is that?
Yeah, yeah.
Loads of Italians.
You can tell the difference between there.
Because that is the trip to.
And signals.
They're going to roll this one in the wrong.
So your number four then is being in Leucon.
Yes.
Generally in Leucon.
What do you think in Leucon Mac?
I think it has no business being part of Dublin.
It's a bit of a weird spot, isn't it?
Like, what, that's the farest place in the world?
Yeah.
Like, it's, I was, yeah, I was kind of confused there for a sec.
I was thinking, I always get League Slip and Leucon mixed up.
The basically the same place.
They are, yeah.
League Slip is not a bad spot.
No, League Slip is grand and it's purely killed there.
Yeah.
But Leucon doesn't know what's coming around.
Like, Leucon is basically selvage.
You know what I mean?
It's the same place.
They're all the one but like, Leucon's like,
now we're part of Dublin and they're like,
yeah, not though.
The spot I would tell is about the only thing I can sort of remember
about Leucon.
Leucon Mac.
Mac Mac, Leucon.
Now, Leucon Valley is in Leucon.
Leucon Valley.
That's not Leucon.
Is it not?
It's Leucon Valley, isn't it?
I don't know.
Shaman, you're trying to have some.
Kenny's, Kenny's in Leucon.
World allegations.
That Leucon Valley is in Leucon.
There's going to be people coming for you.
Kenny's is definitely in Leucon.
I don't even know what Kenny's is.
No.
Pop.
I was like, a table quiz there once.
Oh, you're out of table quiz there.
Jesus Christ.
I think it was Kenny's.
Yeah, fuck Leucon, anyways.
Fart Leucon.
That's the only thing I remember from Leucon.
Fart Leucon.
Oh, yeah.
Mac and the day.
Splinters in your hands.
Yeah.
Do you want to die, Lamar?
Go on, I don't want to hurt my axe, my cave.
Hake on.
I don't want to hurt my hand.
This is a problem.
This is going to be someone like,
I want to break up with my girlfriend and the magazine.
I just want to bleed and sell tickets.
So I have a slight dilemma.
So here we go.
I've been going through a friendship breakup.
Me and my pal have been friends for over 10 years,
but in the last couple of years,
we've drifted further and further apart.
We had a small argument two summers ago
when she got with this boy who was giving red flags.
I really didn't like him,
and I'm not someone who can hide my feelings.
So when he was acting up,
I'd tell him to wind his neck in, etc.
Monts pass by and eventually this thing with the boy stops.
And basically, I was right about him.
Before they split, I sent an apology,
saying some of the reasons I didn't like him
was because I'd been single for so long,
and maybe I was a little bit jealous.
I think that jealousy is a normal emotion,
so to admit it is a good thing.
She said this was the reason
she doesn't want to be pals anymore.
She also said another issue
is that I had once invited my ex on a night out.
Me and this ex are good friends and are broken up years.
We've not really spoken much since this route,
but I'm due to see her soon
and don't want things to be awkward between us.
I feel like the main issue with our friendship
is that I'm the one
always putting in the effort
and I'm not doing that anymore.
Should I just apologize for the sake
of it not being awkward?
Yeah, am I questioning about it?
He's a human, I was like,
he's absolutely devastated with this.
Surely it shouldn't be that much effort.
It would be the, like,
you know, friendship should be organic
and natural and not really require so much
sort of overtaught.
Like, if it's been overtaught that much,
you'd think.
She'll meet transaction another day.
Yeah, exactly, yeah.
Like, we think you need to pack
the music thing in this direction.
Yeah, this is...
I can hear uncle.
Psychotherapy.
Yeah.
Michael K, one more day at the end, four to eight.
Every Saturday, he'd be like,
listen.
Tell me your problems.
He's a gentleman to me.
Do you have any thoughts on it now?
I don't know.
I'll see, like, all that kind of thing.
There's a lot, as he said.
There is a lot going on there.
There's a lot of complications.
You're better off just leaving.
If it's that complicated,
no, you're out.
Like, if it's,
there's a lot of hopes you're jumping through there.
There's a lot of plates.
You're trying to keep spinning.
If you're going through that much hassle
for something that you think you've already
kind of had a father know over,
you're better off just leaving.
You know what I mean?
If it's not as simple as like,
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Let's move on.
The end doesn't leave her.
Yeah.
I just, um,
I can relate to her as someone who also can't
hold her feelings.
Like,
tells everybody everything
with my face.
So I just feel bad for her.
Someone called Shavan,
a bitch before.
Like, multiple,
multiple people I'd say.
But yeah,
but publicly, like,
stay at like,
I was to my face here.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
Ashavan getting absolutely roasted her.
Damn.
I'm sorry.
Are you okay?
She doesn't care.
Would you know,
but that's what we're going to say.
Yeah.
And Masha,
have you ever bought anything for Lent?
Where is Lent?
Jesus.
We're in the middle of Lent.
Oh, yeah.
We're two weeks in.
Two weeks in tomorrow.
Yeah.
Lent takes such a dive.
This is it.
I don't, never heard about it.
Is that just me?
No, no, no, that's
cause it's surely,
shouldn't it?
Lent is surely.
Lent fell off.
Lent did fall off.
It definitely fell off.
Jesus, I'm like,
I haven't even thought about Lent
and bring back Lent.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
Shavan is a Tione,
a folk in technology detox.
She's no phone around.
Yeah.
Actually,
I'm off my phone, yeah.
She's no phone.
She sent me emails.
Like, Mark McAves
spoke to him.
This is the way.
Yeah.
But somebody sent it
enough from the laptop.
The laptop?
Wow.
Two more you found.
Whereas two weeks ago
was a WhatsApp message.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Now it's an email.
I'm like,
folk and hell.
Yeah.
And?
It's great.
Yeah.
I have a landline at home.
So I'm on the landline
for people as well.
Wow.
For people like you're putting a rail there.
People want to get contacts.
Yeah.
Oh.
That's, I actually,
I don't know what the rest of it to be honest.
I can probably learn off by heart, but.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
And do you feel better?
Yeah.
What do I kind of sleep on?
What about you?
I get in gray sleep.
Yeah.
Yeah, I am.
Sleep on well.
I have an alarm clock.
Like a radio alarm.
Yeah, but like in in terms of what you do
before you go to bed.
Like read my book.
Like you're on the laptop type of thing.
Or
No, like read my book or just
see, I don't like the way
it's normal or it's now to be on your phone
before you go to bed.
Totally.
Because it should be the opposite.
Like the opposite is go to bed.
Yeah, not the first night.
I did have like a moment where I was like,
okay, like brush my teeth.
Put on my bed.
I was probably going to bed.
And I was like, what do I do now?
Oh, I just turn off the lights and go to sleep.
Like this is it.
Yeah.
That's what we want to put
telling you in the bedroom.
Because like, yeah, you go to bed to go to bed.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, that's, that's it.
Well, even though you're,
you're doing the bed and you're on your phone
and you're like, yeah, whatever.
Well.
Yeah, I'm also supposed to be off-carsing,
but it's so hard.
Yeah, fuck that.
Yeah, it's so hard.
And I don't care that much about that one.
So, like, keep forgetting about it.
The thing is, you give up soft time.
Like, consumes you.
Yeah.
That's what, like, that's the pendant that your pain is.
And it's like, oh, that's what kids always give up sweets
and shit like that.
I'm also off-sweets.
But like, you're swearing that she was like,
fell, melted, always on her phone,
always eating sweets.
She's not off-cars, yeah.
Do they ever tell you about my uncle
who took off having a shower every day for lunch?
I just wanted to tell you that, I thought.
Took off having a shower.
That was his-
That was his penance, like, he was going to have a shower every day.
Well, you're not supposed to shower every day, apparently.
Who was saying that?
Yeah.
Have you ever had a shower later than you usually have a shower?
Like, let's say, you know where you group them on,
you have your shower.
Yeah, I built your day.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, like, something happened in the morning
and then you had to, like, run out of the house or whatever.
So, you just throw something on your run.
Yeah.
You do feel absolutely disgusted.
Yeah, I can't do that.
It's 12 o'clock.
If we don't have a shower now,
I'm not leaving the house the rest of the day.
Whereas, like, you'd have a shower, say,
at 9 o'clock and then you'd live.
Or remember, we had an appointment somewhere
and we had to go on me, somebody.
And I just threw something on my left.
And I'm like, I'm sure I present to myself very well
where I'm like, oh, I'm the smelliest contact ever lived.
I definitely stink.
And he knows where he's staying.
And that's in my head, you know what I mean?
He knows I haven't had a shower today.
He's probably saying, what's this?
I don't know.
But, like, that's me, I know you feel monkey.
I was like, oh, don't believe that.
Can someone show me the benefits
of not having a shower every day?
I mean, I don't.
I think he was probably, like, having a bath on a Saturday
even before I'm asked, like, that was the kind of...
Even that, like...
That was his vibe.
Have a bath, like, sort of thinking about that
recently in life.
And it's like, what the hell are we doing?
You've sitting there on your own.
Shared and bathed as well.
People getting in the wardrobe.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like...
Ooh.
That's not great.
So that's it for this week.
Mark, thanks again for sticking around.
Yeah.
Really appreciate it.
Second of April and Indian, yeah?
Yeah.
Take a master.
Yeah.
What's the name of it?
It's just my name.
Yeah, another buyer's.
That's the name of it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because we had to do something which was kind of, like,
we can't just do maniac again.
So it was like, well, what about maniac and other buyers?
What else is going to be Mark and Gabe in the Olympia?
But take a master.
Ground gets a ticket.
Nice.
