Kelona Rock is Goldtender. Harrison Boetiger is building one of the most unique paths for a 2026 NHL draft prospect.

The Colorado native went from the USA Hockey National Team Development Program to the Western Hockey League with Kelona.

He's also committed to the University of Denver for next season.

What sets him apart is being the only player to suit up for both teams in the two-year-old CHL USA Prospects Challenge.

Earlier this week, Boetiger shared how the shift from the development-focused NTDP to the when-now-rockets has sharpened his game.

He knows the WHO's higher speed and skill compared to US leagues, keeping him on his toes every shift.

Playing for the CHL side last year, after representing the US felt strange, but added valuable perspective.

Fans and scouts love his steady play as a rookie.

He's won four of his last five starts with the 22 wins, nine losses, five ties record, and a top 10 9904 save percentage in the Lille Tung.

Growing up near Denver, he lived with his uncle, St. Louis Cardinals, President John Moselliak, who offered key advice on handling slumps through.

Consistency. Boetiger's journey took him from St. Louis AAA teams to Shaduck St. Mary's in Minnesota.

Then Michigan for NTDP Prep, and now British Columbia 4, the Rockets.

At six feet two inches, he studies NHL stars like Ju Seros for better creescating and pucktracking.

Next up, he'll return home to Denver's pioneers while eyeing a memorial cup run with Colona as hosts.
