The team made the announcement on Thursday. He is best known for hiring two general managers who each led the Packers to Super Bowl victories in different decades. Harlan spent nearly four decades with the Packers from 1971 until 2008. He served as president and chief executive officer from 1989 through 2008, helping steer the team back to prominence. One of his biggest moves came in 1991 when he brought in Ron Wolfe as general manager.
