Blues Snap Skid, Defeat Wild 3-1

The St. Louis Blues grabbed a 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul. Pavel Buchnevich delivered the game-winning goal with just three minutes and 39 seconds left in the third period, snapping a blue skid where they had dropped four of their last five games. Buchnevich also picked up an assist in the win while Robert Thomas chipped in a goal and an assist in his first game back since early January. He had missed 13 games due to a lower body injury and stepped away from the team for personal reasons recently. For the wild, Kirokoprizov scored their only goal on a power play in the second period, tying the franchise record with 219 goals, and stretching his point street to seven games. Matt Bodia assisted on that tally, extending his own point street to nine games. Thomas sealed the deal with an empty net goal late after Blue's goalie Joe Holfer stood tall
