They hoped for good company and fun chats on a Friday night and the evening stretched late with easy conversation. Abby found Charlie super friendly and down to Earth right away, calling him intelligent too. The funniest bit came when he nearly lit the wine menu on fire with the table candle, more hilarious than awkward. Charlie saw Abby as confident and charismatic from the start. Things got bumpy when she questioned the moon landing and he couldn't hide his reaction, slowing the vibe a bit.
