1:00Mark chapter four verse 18 through 19 when you haven't say amen. This is a rare opportunity we will move into the intersection of an ongoing discussion of a long text that includes and incorporates a parable where Jesus begins to talk about through a parabolic metaphorical example of what the kingdom is like a declaration of a sore went forth sewing seed. And some fell on good ground. You remember that text and some fell in rocky places. And he begins to describe these various conditions as circumstances that happen in the kingdom. I won't exhaust the text. I won't even try but there is an excerpt in the middle of the text. For which the Holy Spirit drew my attention first as a devotional in my own life. Anybody do devotional?

2:07And you're a long time with God. Don't wait for church on Sunday. Have your own little devotional. It keeps things from overwhelming you. And then he directed me to share it with you. Gospel St. Mark chapter four verse 18-19 is in the middle of an ongoing discussion where Jesus exegies his own story in a very profound way. It's the only time that I can recall that Jesus gives a story and then explains the story after the story so important that he doesn't want us to get off track from the true meaning of this text. And he says in verse 18 and these are they which are shown amongst thorns such as hear the word and he cares of this and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lust of other things entering in choke the word and it become of unfruitful.

3:17I've been teaching you about destiny. I started the year out teaching about destiny. I wrote a book on destiny. We're coming to the end of the year and I'm still talking about destiny because you must understand you can reach no further than what you have been destined to reach. Your future is now controlled by your ego, your neighbors, your ambition, you want to be living your life on purpose. Are you hearing what I'm saying? I church is well taught on destiny so you already get it. If you haven't gotten the material, you should get the material and start living on purpose. You'd be surprised what you can cut off out of your busy schedule. If you focus only on the things that are relative to your destiny, stay out of my business, your destiny and your

4:18purpose. The reason I bring this destiny into this text, no soar soles a seed without hope of a harvest. I listen to this brother Oliver and then we're singing about the rain and how the rain is coming down and they say we sowed and now Lord sit in the rain. The rain is coming to water what has been sold to the intent that we might have a harvest but in this particular case the seed is sold. The blade springs up but because of the thorns and thistles the harvest is aborted and the last word of the text says that it was unfruitful. These are they who ended up unfruitful. I want to talk to you this morning warn you if you please to the fact that destiny has a stalker.

5:21Destiny has a stalker. Destiny has a stalker. Spirit of the living God. Move in this place. There's not a person in this room that doesn't need you. Without you we can do nothing. We do not want to be busy without purpose. We don't want to work Lord and labor and toil and have nothing to show for at the end of the day. Life is too tough to get to the end of it and have no fruit for the time that we've been here. If there's a stalker to our destiny reveal it

Some person who says they admire you or becomes infatuated with you becomes so engrossed that at first you think they're just being friendly or I just ran into them at the store or they just sent me a compliment or they just helped me put the groceries in the car and then it's funny I ran into you again

7:23over at the mall last Saturday and then you notice that you're loading the kids toys in the car and there they are again and then you start to feel a little uncomfortable because if you are person of instinct when you meet people instinct will kind of give you a little intuition that something isn't right and after why are you a stalk now now I know what this is like because I have been stalked I know what it is to be stalked I know what it is to be driving forward and looking in the rear view mirror just to make sure that I'm not being followed I know what it is to get close to my house and bypass my house and have to go another direction and throw somebody else to send I know what it is to have to call somebody and say look this this car has been following me I know what it is to be stalked I don't care how tough you are I don't care how prayerful you are I don't

24:37cares of this world they were choked by the cares of this world they cared too much about the things around the cares of this world choked off what they needed they put their passion into something that might be important but was not as important as the thing that it choked from them I'm not saying you shouldn't be concerned about the conditions of the world but the cares of this world can choke the couple that I talked about earlier when they first get married they're in love because love their relationship is romantic it's it's not it's not administrative she's fine oh she's so fine and the way she laughs it just sounds like tinkling glass
