A couple months later, he shared that doctors diagnosed him with normal pressure hydrocephalus, a treatable brain condition that affects balance and walking. His daughter Alexa Rae Joel, who was 40, opened up about it recently. Billy tried to play down the fall and asked her not to watch the video, knowing she worries a lot. She checked it out anyway and ended up in tears, seeing him trip after spending the microphone. The whole family, including Billy's younger daughter's De La Rose, who was 10 and Remi Ann, who was 8, with his wife Alexis has been supportive through his physical therapy. Alexis says he's doing great now and they're staying on top of his treatment.
