ESPN reports he's expected to be a prime option for the Blue Blood program, drawing interest due to his deep college roots. Dottavan served as an assistant at Kentucky under Rick Patino from 1989 to 1994 and was a top name when John Calapari. Left for Arkansas back in April 2024. He passed on that job to stay with the Bulls, where he's coached since the 2020-2021 season without a playoff series win. Before jumping to the NBA, Dottavan built a power house at Florida over 19 seasons, winning back-to-back national titles in 2006 and 2007 with
