Bills Re-sign Punter Mitch Wishnowsky

The 34-year-old served as their third punter last season behind Brad Robbins and Cameron Johnston. He stepped up with solid numbers, averaging 45.3 yards on 38 punts and a 41.3 net average. Wyshnowski also placed 18 punts inside the 20-yard line. After kicker Matt Prader's quad injury, he handled kickoffs in week 18 and the playoffs. This move adds depth to the special teams unit heading into next season. Wyshnowski was originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round back in 2019. He spent six years there before joining the Bills. Over his career, he has averaged 45.5 yards on 348 punts with a 40.9 net average. Officials see this as a smart, low-risk signing.
