Bills Acquire Moore, Bears Gain Cap Space

The deal was confirmed by NFL insider Jonathan Jones and can't be finalized until the new league year starts on March 11th. This marched the first big-wire receiver move of the offseason, with more expected soon. Moore, a 28-year-old former first-round pick from the Carolina Panthers in 2018, had three straight 1,000 yard seasons. From 2019 to 2021, two of those came under Bill's coach Joe Brady, who was his offensive coordinator back then. Traded to Chicago in 2022 as part of the deal they gave Carolina the number one pick for Bryce Young, more exploded for 96, catches 1,364 yards, and eight touchdowns in his debut year there. Buffalo has desperately needed a top-outside receiver since trading Stefan Diggs two years ago.
